Such a predictable game. Although at some point I expected a draw as newcastle has found some rhythm earlier but the game play was entirely different. Total dominance from Liverpool. This might be a time for leeds to upset  Man city as usual Considering there will be a probability that Pep might  bench some players so as to have a solid team that can secure a win at the bernabeu.. Really tough decision to make i must say.

Everyone in Manchester City is a great player the team B to this team will win a lot of top teams in the premier league.
Same way Liverpool won Manchester City would do same, I don't see ckty slowing down on the league.
It's a sure win for them don't pray they should loose

With this win, Its becoming more unpredictable and man city is about to play a game which they don’t have good memories playing. I expected  newcastle to secure a draw based on their recent form but that wasn’t the case.. They survived most part of the game, stats were incomparable, shots both on and off target, possession wise. Bad miss from Salah and Jota but it is what it is..
All fate is in hands of what city can do. May the best team  win

A huge win for LFC, especially considering al the rotations Klopp decided to make. I was really nervous before the game after seeing the lineups but we have grown so much and the players that replace the best ones are just a little bit worse and we don't suffer much even when we change half of the team like we did today.

Fair play to Newcastle, it is visible how much they grew under Howe, but tday they should have lost by a bigger margin.

All eyes on Leeds today - although I do not expect wonders there.

Newcastle United 0 - 1 Liverpool

this was a game in which liverpool could have scored a lot of goals but they missed a lot, they wasted a lot of opportunities and diogo jota every time he had a great opportunity he shot towards the goalkeeper even when it was a great opportunity to score a goal, the newcastle couldn't have room for counterattacks, this was a game in which liverpool dominated and just missed the opportunity to score a lot of goals

Aston Villa 0 - 0 Norwich

well norwich is just fulfilling the schedule and is saying goodbye to the premier league, maybe in the next few years they will return to the premier league. sad reality

Watford 1 - 0 Burnley

 

if watford win they could overtake everton and could have a good chance of avoiding relegation if they can also win the remaining games. I personally am rooting for them and for everton, not seeing everton in the premier league will be a little strange, I wonder how lampard must be feeling when he sees everton in this situation. i hope watford can win this game

Liverpool had a very dominant game against Newcastle today and deserved this victory for certain. It would have ended by a bigger goal difference actually but Newcastle managed to keep it at 1-0. Keita's goal was really delightful by the way. It was a good example of a composure there. Liverpool rotated the squad a little before this game started also but they still did a very good work and got the win. And now they must be waiting very excitedly for the Leeds - Manchester City game this evening.

Looking at the game today, I think Manchester city needs to be extra careful, cause it seems Liverpool are not slowing down or giving up on the trophy. The both teams really needs to be in their best performance in their remaining matches, today EPL results was a good results for Liverpool with their 0:1 win to Newcastle United at newcastle's home. So with the look of things right now I think Manchester city are in trouble, they really need to beat Leeds this evening to go back to the top of the table, failure to do so, they might loose the trophy to Liverpool, so at this point in time the both teams need to be more careful, one lose might ruin the trophy for them.

All games so far going as expected at half time, got an acca going perfect (as long as I haven't jinxed this one yet by saying this!). Only Burnley I thought would have been ahead...

Despite winning by 1 goal but liverpool of course will continue to look for other goals to secure their victory today, klopp today made a few changes to his squad by reserving several important players but that it doesn't seem to change Liverpool current performance and game scheme,

Yeah, of course I want 2 nil and 3 nil wins but now Salah's secured the PFA, I'd love for Alisson to get his Golden Gloves, and then we have a team full of happy individual winners -- plus as you said it was a heavily rotated side, first time in a long time Salah didn't start, Keita showing up when needed most, even good old Millie putting in a shift (and a brilliant tackle to set the goal going).

My bet for the Manchester United - Chelsea game won as I added a double chance for Chelsea. I didn't even doubt about it for once during the game. Chelsea dominated this game significantly much and they were nearly winning the game also. Ronaldo's goal was surprising to me also as it came very quickly. But I still thought like Chelsea would even get ahead again and win it. Manchester United must be thankful for not losing after playing this much poorly. They didn't lose at least like they did against Liverpool and Arsenal but I didn't like their performance even a little.

Who says that Man United's game is still bad, you don't like it because it's clear the players didn't play such a stunning game, so many say that a draw is a good result for Man United.
But Chelse found it difficult to hit back even though there were many opportunities in front of my eyes. I will still applaud De Gea who was able to block many shots from Chelsea which in the end became a lot of saves, there was no Harry Maguire nor was Man United's defense still bad, so no need to blame he is too much.

Manchester United's game this season is quite terrible, they have not been able to play consistently with rivals competing in the top four standings, but in the match against Chelsea, Manchester United was more open and focused in playing, so a draw was really deserved by them, unfortunately Chelsea didn't. can take advantage of the opportunity to beat Manchester United, even though this season almost all big clubs beat Manchester United very easily, it is very clear that Chelsea are not able to take advantage of this condition

Manchester United are not having a great season, that's for sure. I think they just want to finish the last games with as many points as possible to get into the champions league. That can also have a major impact on certain players who come or go next season. If you don't qualify for the Champions League with United, you've just done badly. New year with a new coach and possibly new players, it will certainly be a lot better.

Their big target is only to secure one ticket to the champions league, but if you look at the rest of the game, Manchester United is very difficult to secure the ticket, now they are warned of 6 standings, under Tottenham Hotspur, where the last zone to get to the champions league is through the play Of, it is very difficult for Manchester United to secure a Champions League ticket in the future

1 goal was enough to take them to get 3 points in this match, quite good indeed when you see the lowly players but dominated for almost 90 minutes.
Their breakthrough day was quite lacking and it seemed like a wasted opportunity but I think it's still quite good considering there are almost 5 to 6 players there who are cover for the core players so I'm still impressed with their game

Failing to or not being able to predict what's going to happen next , makes the premier league very interesting than the first half of the season.
But I don't want to take side let the best teams win at the end of the day.
 Could be Manchester City,Leeds United, Salah might not win the golden ball still.

The line up is out I saw on Manchester City's official Twitter and only De Bruyne is on the bench for this match, so I don't think Pep will have any doubts about the main players having to play tonight because it's also important to get points, of course it won't be let go. of course the game must be won in order to maintain their position as the main in the EPL.

Liverpool almost lost 2 points, if only Naby Keita did not score, then it is certain that Manchester City will become the EPL champion. We will see the Manchester City match in a moment, I hope if Manchester City make a mistake so that Liverpool will find it easier to get the EPL title.

BTW, the Watford Vs Burnley match ended with Watford 1 - 2 defeat, all goals were scored by Burnley , With this result Watford deeper into the relegation zone.

Manchester City have an excellent performance. I think they are the most in form team in the world right now. I predict they will beat Leeds United. It's really hard to resist them. If you can stop Mahrez, you can't stop De Bruyne. If you manage to stop both of them, Gabriel Jesus takes the stage as a surprise. It's impossible to stop this team. The best thing you can do is complete the match without conceding many goals. Also, Leeds United had good momentum. They have not lost their last 5 matches. The injuries of Adam Forshaw, Patrick Bamford and Tyler Roberts continue in the team. They have no other major shortcomings. But today their rivals are very strong. They have no chance in this match.

Very strong team Newcasle has become lately especially on home pitch and today Liverpool almost did a draw but they also broke the streak of undefeated games of Newcastle on their home.

Now the pressure completely moved on Man.City who will play in aprox 15 min from now against Leeds who I think they are kinda saved from relegation but they will fight for points for sure just because of Bielsa style.

It wasn't all that convincing from Liverpool today. But such matches are always in between, then it is only about taking the 3 points home, at least they have done that. The 0-1 that fell quite early, I expected that Liverpool would increase the score further, but that didn't work out. The pressure is now back on Manchester City, but they have the advantage of the points lead over Liverpool. Actually, they are both entitled to the title, if you consider how good and better they are compared to the rest of the teams in the league.
