Ronaldo's age has made him unable to perform like he used to, now Ronaldo can only rely on experience when given the trust to play. Ronaldo is not able to run as fast as he used to, his strength has also started to decrease, for this reason Ten Hag put Ronaldo on the bench more often than installing him as a starter.

It is better to retire honourably than keep on playing matches that will bring no results, because the average age for retirement in football is within 30 to 39years, and Cristiano Ronaldo is currently 37yr-old with over 19 years in his football career which is quite a long period of time considering the fact that not many got to that age before they eventually retired, looking at the likes of Zindine Zidane who retired at age 34yrs, Paul Scholes who retired at 36yrs-old and Pele who retired at age 37yrs. So for me, i think its high time Ronaldo start thinking about his retirement

I wouldn't want Ronaldo to retire and I will always want to see him on the pitch, even if it's 10mins to end the match, I still want to see him on the pitch. This is the premier league, anything is possible. We might just watch Liverpool stop Manchester city as they always do in previous seasons. When it comes to big games like this, most times (just like derby) forms don't usually matter as prayers tend to play with all their heart knowing fully well that them winning a game like this can boost their chances of getting something from the season or they (the players) might just be desperate to break the other teams record. Liverpool has just be unfortunate this season, it isn't like they're playing badly but luck hasn't just been on their side.

Aslo we shouldn't be too quick to conclude. The league is just beginning and we haven't even played upto 10 games yet, we still have about 28+ games to go and during this time some teams might drop points due to bad form while others go on a winning run. This mightn't be due to them playing badly but injury can kick in to destabilize teams. Liverpool still has a chance of getting something out of this season, if not competing for the title then securing a top four finish for a chance of trying to win the champions league next season.

Well the season is still young and with some of the injured players coming back from injuries there is a chance for Liverpool to come back. If they can pick up in the next 2-3 games then there is a chance for them finishing in top four position this season. They have better chance in the champions league also if they can get back to winning games soon. I saw some improvements in the game against Arsenal in the weekend. Their next opponent, Manchester City is the biggest team in the epl at the moment if they can survive this game then Klopp has nothing to worry about.

Haaland is in a very comfortable situation in the top scorers table now with 15 goals. The closest player is Kane with 8 goals. Haaland has upset the balances in the Premier League right after he has arrived. He is a very special striker with amazing finishing skills. I think it will only be a matter of time, because if we look at the current conditions for City, it is clear that they are still very dominating even though Arsenal are still at the top.

It's very important for arsenal to be consistent if their position don't want to be taken by manchester city, as you said, the difference of 1 point is not difficult for manchester city to go over and I think manchester city only needs to wait for a match that makes arsenal slip and coup the 1st place in the English league standings, beat Big teams like Tottenham and Liverpool have indeed motivated Arsenal players enough but I think sometimes when Arsenal underestimate small teams, that's when the beginning of Arsenal destruction begins again.

Of course Erik has to trust Ronaldo in the next match as the single sticker, there is nothing to worry about Ronaldo performance because physically he is still very strong to play full time. Two seasons ago, some fans were calling for Mikel Arteta sack,he has not won a single game in his first 5 matches,now the same fans are singing his name,is amazing how time flies,I think the Spaniards has done a wonderful job at arsenal, and he did this with no world class big signing like haaland, Gundongan,Diaz,walker like Manchester city that looks for world class players to reach to this level, true arsenal has not win anything yet but you can see they are improving from game to game,last season if not for bad luck they would have been playing champions League football right now, I think this season they will fight Manchester city till the end and if they managed to achieve that, then is a great season.
