Well the season is still young and with some of the injured players coming back from injuries there is a chance for Liverpool to come back. If they can pick up in the next 2-3 games then there is a chance for them finishing in top four position this season. They have better chance in the champions league also if they can get back to winning games soon. I saw some improvements in the game against Arsenal in the weekend. Their next opponent, Manchester City is the biggest team in the epl at the moment if they can survive this game then Klopp has nothing to worry about.

It is better to retire honourably than keep on playing matches that will bring no results, because the average age for retirement in football is within 30 to 39years, and Cristiano Ronaldo is currently 37yr-old with over 19 years in his football career which is quite a long period of time considering the fact that not many got to that age before they eventually retired, looking at the likes of Zindine Zidane who retired at age 34yrs, Paul Scholes who retired at 36yrs-old and Pele who retired at age 37yrs. I believe he will come back and he can play better than what he has shown so far. If United can build up a system that can provide enough good key passes to Ronaldo, he will help them to have many goals. However, Ten Hag wants more contribution for a whole system including proactively defending. Therefore, Ronaldo is almost not in plan of Ten Hag.

I think the coach more likely intends to use Ronaldo as alternative player when the club needs to make changes and find goals. It's challenging for Ronaldo to find a position in Ten Hag tactic.

I guess the story is clear now to everyone who is still doubting the capability of this Arsenal side because they are so focused and dedicated to achieving the objectives for the season. They have shown so much courage and strength today, they have proven that they can do it and they can be title contenders this season. Kudos to the team they have been impressive and proven everyone wrong. Indeed they are a better team this season.

Let's just hope that Arsenal don't go back to their clownish ways of winning big games but then losing points against outsiders. As bad form as Liverpool may be, 3 goals against them in such a competitive match deserve respect.

By the way, in the next round Liverpool will play at home against City   I don’t even know what to suggest here - whether Liverpool will finally win and help Arsenal consolidate their leadership, or whether Liveprol will lose and fall into the bottom half of the standings.

Judging by level of the Arsenal team in terms of the quality of the squad and their performance this season I don't think they will finish at any position lower than top four even if they return to their clownish way as you call it. I know Arsenal always lose most of their games against top teams and gain points against lower level teams and we see them winning games against Spurs and Liverpool already, I think this is a good sign and good step to better season and big achievements to come

In the past, they've been criticised as being a soft touch and also being unable to win against the big teams, especially after they lost to Manchester United. But over the last week, they've now beaten both Tottenham and Liverpool in their most important games of the season and are absolutely flying. This season looks different for them, we can see how they always create chances and score goals. They have the spirit to fight and take the game to a different level. I hope they maintain this form.

Arsenal are doing very well this season and I must admit that in a very long time I have not seen Arsenal play so well, I am impressed seeing how well they are fighting to be title contenders in the league this season. Liverpool made quite an impressive effort yesterday to hold Arsenal to a draw at the Emirates stadium but the Gunners were too strong and refused to bend to Liverpool's wishes.

I don't think, Liverpool can withstand Manchester city in this match because their coach is still struggling to work on their defense which is their major challenge they are facing since the beginning of this season. Manchester city will defeat Liverpool 1-3 for the favour of Manchester city, because Haaland will definitely achieve many goals from this match to make their fans happy again. Actually Liverpool's performance are suffer sharpening drop on their attackers rather than their defenders, in the previous season Salah is becoming the most of both top scorers and assist, now he's rarely make a goal. It's hard to defend the aggressiveness of Haaland, Virgil Van Dijk can't do anything and he will got outplayed by Haaland. Another thing Liverpool will play without Luis Diaz, so I expect many goals will be scored by Manchester City.

The odds is quite juicy too, @1.85 for Manchester City, I would definitely bet Manchester City since they wouldn't lose against Liverpool.

The defense of Liverpool is very weak this season and the players such as Van Dijk, Matip or Alexander-Arnold were cannot playing good such as last season even against the mediocre teams such as Brighton they were conceded 3 goals from that match so i am quite doubt if Liverpool defenders can guard Haaland although Liverpool had good records from Manchester City last season but now is very different so Liverpool might be will suffering another lose from this match and i haven't checked the odds yet for other options but i think if the bookie provided odds @1.85 then bet Manchester City money line seems good choice

Yes, he's overestimating Ronaldo because now there are rumors about several teams who are interested in signing Ronaldo in the January transfer market and one of them is Chelsea. I personally don't believe Ronaldo will stay at Manchester United until the end of the season so yes, I believe the rumors will probably come true. Also, whether Ronaldo is in the Manchester United squad or not, Manchester United will still have a chance to finish in the top four. So yeah, I personally don't really consider Ronaldo to be an important player now because after all Manchester United have a regeneration that it's time to have younger key players.

I wouldn't want Ronaldo to retire and I will always want to see him on the pitch, even if it's 10mins to end the match, I still want to see him on the pitch. Ronaldo is more than a footballer, he is an idol, a leader, a model and everything football can bring. If you encourage Ronaldo to retire because people like Zidane and Scholes retired in their 30's, how about  Ibra who is still playing and he is 40+
Ronaldo is passionate about football and I am not sure he can do any other thing apart from football.

You're right, that's the problem Ronaldo has to deal with now. I know Ronaldo is the best player, but maybe he's not the best at the moment, so I agree with his decline. The coach's tactics and strategies have a big impact on the performance of his players, but I don't know because I think Ronaldo has worked with many coaches for good performances both at Manchester United, Real Madrid and also Juventus.

In the last match of Manchester United vs Everton, Ten Hag did not prioritize Ronaldo to enter his main line-up but Ronaldo came as a substitute for Martial in the first 30 minutes of the match. Ronaldo managed to score a few minutes before the end of the first half, it became Ronaldo's 2nd goal in 11 Manchester United matches.

And of course it's getting harder to see Liverpool jump into the top 4 they are currently 10 points behind and Chelsea are slowly starting to find their best game, but yeah it's not over anything can still happen.

This is the premier league, anything is possible. We might just watch Liverpool stop Manchester city as they always do in previous seasons. When it comes to big games like this, most times (just like derby) forms don't usually matter as prayers tend to play with all their heart knowing fully well that them winning a game like this can boost their chances of getting something from the season or they (the players) might just be desperate to break the other teams record. Liverpool has just be unfortunate this season, it isn't like they're playing badly but luck hasn't just been on their side.

Aslo we shouldn't be too quick to conclude. The league is just beginning and we haven't even played upto 10 games yet, we still have about 28+ games to go and during this time some teams might drop points due to bad form while others go on a winning run. This mightn't be due to them playing badly but injury can kick in to destabilize teams. Liverpool still has a chance of getting something out of this season, if not competing for the title then securing a top four finish for a chance of trying to win the champions league next season.

I have to disagree with you there. You forgot about Manchester United which always got the upper hand against Liverpool in most of the recent matches. And this was when Manchester United was a bit shitty, without the guidance of ten Hag yet but they still won over Liverpool. Top for more like around Arsenal, Man City, Man United, and Tottenham. Forget about Liverpool as I think even Chealse had a better chance to break into the top 4 of those teams than Liverpool.

Ronaldo seems to have rediscovered his sharpness after he managed to score in the match against Everton. The goal was also very special for him because he managed to make his career goals at the club to 700 goals. Ronaldo must get more playing time this season to support his performance and Erik looks like he will soon put Ronaldo name in the line-up for the upcoming match considering Martial suffered an injury in that match so Erik will choose Ronaldo in the upcoming match. Haaland is in a very comfortable situation in the top scorers table now with 15 goals. The closest player is Kane with 8 goals. Haaland has upset the balances in the Premier League right after he has arrived. He is a very special striker with amazing finishing skills. I don't even need to mention his strong physique that helps him become superior to like all of the defenders he has come up against so far.

While Manchester City have a beast like him it looks like there is no way they aren't turning this league into farmer's league.    For now, Arsenal and Tottenham are doing great and competing hard with them. Liverpool this season has indeed been disappointing, as you said Liverpool were only able to win 2 wins in 8 matches. Even Liverpool suffered
defeats against Man United and Arsenal, it could be said that Liverpool had difficulty facing strong teams this season. But when in the Community

He is currently at the lowest point of his career because this never happened before even while playing at Madrid or Juventus Ronaldo always being an important player for those teams and the arrival of Ten Hag also caused he have to starting each matches from the bench and i am sure he doesn't looks happy with this situation but i think Ronaldo won't be retired at least for next 1 or 2 years because he still have passion to playing at high level of competitions but if he cannot be first choice on starting lineup then probably Ronaldo will find other clubs in January
