This season I don't have much confidence in liverpool because they are just unpredictable . Liverpool has lose quality in their performance,  it normally give them tough time to win game unlike Liverpool of last Season.

Everyone knows that Liverpool is far from their performance of last seasons but they will probably win this week's Aston Villa match. Liverpool had the upper hand in the last games between them, but they have two notable Aston Villa victories, both times where Aston Villa was ahead by five goals. Will it happen again? It looks difficult. It's a matter of curiosity how ready the players will return after the World Cup. If they play their standard game, Liverpool is one step ahead. Of course, Aston Villa also has strikers like Ings and Bailey. It will be a solid match, I think it will not end in a draw.

However, I predict that Emiliano Martinez will most likely not be played by the coach. and that will be the weakness of Aston Villa. and from the many Aston villa vs Liverpool meetings. Liverpool have won more matches. even in the last 4 meetings liverpool always wins.

Many things have happened in the Liverpool camp, including setbacks that have not been resolved until now. Aston Villa is not a fit match for Liverpool even though Liverpool may have some players that will be absent in the game against Aston Villa tomorrow, Liverpool is on its way to reclaiming their position in the league table and if everything is equal there will be pushing upward on the table any moment from now since there have rested and readjusted their strategy during the world cup and Liverpool is preparing to face the remaining part of the premier league with high enthusiasm that will propel their winning chances in the remaining period of the premier league. What am not sure of is if Liverpool will make the first goal score or their will play their defensive pattern tomorrow game.

Nothing depends on United as Rashford's contract ends in the summer of 2023 and he can leave for free. Now they are in the most difficult situation - they either have to offer better financial terms than PSG (and thus suffer financially since it is very expensive to compete with PSG in terms of money) or let Rashford go for free. You are right, that Rashford contract which expires next summer is PSG's opportunity, on the other hand, PSG actually already has a much more stable player. I think Manchester United will inevitably release young players who have shone in the World Cup. Although later there will definitely be many clubs trying to offer the best place for Rashford. PSG has sufficient finances, but Rashford position will not be as free as where he was when he played at Manchester United. Surely it will share a place like being a second-tier alternative player for PSG.

Messi stays at PSG for a maximum of another year, Mbappe  may leave in the summer (although Real Madrid pretends that they are no longer interested in this transition, but this may be only part of the bargaining to strengthen their position and weaken Mbappe), Neymar will not leave, but PSG would like to he left. I think Rashford's position in such conditions will be very strong, and in general it is difficult for me to imagine that PSG will pay a million a week to a player who will come on as a substitute, and not be a first-team player.

Was Liverpool's performance against Manchester City too good? I don't think so. However, Liverpool players were able to score two goals. But Manchester City players made 18 shots in this match, and Liverpool made only 7. Although Liverpool's team seems stronger than Aston Villa, victory against Villa will not be easy for Liverpool. I am expecting a competitive match.

It's good that Van Dijk will play and maybe not concede too much, but Gomez raises questions as to why he plays in the starting lineup, it's not clear, there's like a good Phillips.
In general, the match for Liverpool will be very difficult.

I really liked Manchester City and Liverpool both in their EFL Cup matchup. They were both promising for the rest of the season. Only Nunez made me worried because he was so ineffective. I know that he made an assist at least. But he wasted two big goal opportunities above all else. The shots were so bad that they didn't even hit the goal post.

I hope his scoring skills won't be bad in the Premier League from now on. Liverpool are believing in him to perform well. They have spent so much money for his productivity. He was amazing at Benfica and hopefully he will get closer to that level in time.

Liverpool specifically brought Darwin Núñez to the team so that they don’t have any problems scoring goals. But I think we can agree that the problem has not been solved yet. Darwin Núñez did show some great potential. But the problem is his potential is not totally unlocked. And if Liverpool is expecting a performance like Erling Haaland from him, I don’t think they’re going to get that.

But if Liverpool wants to be a serious contender for the English Premier League title, Darwin Núñez will have to perform well. It is very hard to imagine Liverpool winning the English Premier League. I see Manchester City being able to compete with Arsenal quite well. Especially Arsenal having some injury problems in the team.

Was Liverpool's performance against Manchester City too good? I don't think so. However, Liverpool players were able to score two goals. We didn’t play that well against Man City, no. They cut open our defence multiple times but I guess equally, Nunes could & maybe should have scored at least two. Any way, Man City are none of our business this season. We are not in the title race & we are not competing with them in the PL.

The Aston Villa game is definitely going to be tough. I am not looking forward to it at all but it is what it is. I’ll be fully behind Jurgen’s men, hoping for a win tomorrow.

Premier league starts tomorrow. The most notable match will be played between Leicester and Newcastle United. Both teams are in great form. Bookies see Newcastle United as favourites, even though Leicester plays at home. We can show the match between Arsenal and Westham United in the London derby as a tough match. Arsenal will most likely win the game but I think it will be difficult.

Liverpool running speed must be increased to return to the top four, Klopp will not repeat the same mistake as when he lost to Manchester City in the EFL Cup. The material the players have must give good performance when playing games away at Villa Park, a win will give confidence to Liverpool players. Klopp's squad is enough to help Liverpool get an additional three points in the first match after the break, I really want to see Liverpool return to winning ways in the EPL.

To be honest, he's quite an average goalkeeper - he's having a mediocre season in Aston Villa and other than penalty shootouts, he also had a mediocre World Cup.

He's a much better option than Robin Olsen though, so I agree it's good that he's not playing.

As far as I know, Villa is also without Diego Carlos and Kamara, and they will miss them more.

It would be a shame if Liverpool couldn't get points in this match because of course it would be even more difficult to catch up, but considering the number of injured players can also have a negative impact on the final result of this match. Currently Liverpool are in 6th position and 7 points behind from Tottenham Hotspur who are in 4th place in the standings.

They should be able to get full points in this match to make them more confident in wading through the remaining matches that are currently available even though boxing day is sometimes a little difficult because the schedule is very busy for teams in the EPL.
On the other hand, there are now 2 names that are confirmed to be absent, namely Firmino and Milner. Actually, for Firmino, he has recovered, but Klopp doesn't want to force this player to maintain his body condition. Also, it seems that Milner, who has suffered a hamstring injury, seems to have to miss several matches with Liverpool.

Lol. Martinez is still partying and maybe that's good luck on Liverpool's side, and I wish they exploit it. Lately, Liverpool has 3 wins from 8 matches and that isn't a good condition for them. I wish they could secure a winning against Aston villa to build their confidence in subsequent matches. My only worry is that a few important players like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Arthur Melo, Luis Diaz, and Roberto Firmino, are currently not in a good physical state, I pray Klopp has a better plan.

Except the teams in Top Four loose the form they started in this season, I don't see this season as the season for Liverpool to even finish top four. If Liverpool gains consistency in their results and other teams are also consistent, the effort of Liverpool will still mean nothing. I am excited about the boxing day fixtures, good to have the EPL back! Rooting for Arsenal like I have always did, looking to see how we will manage without Gabriel Jesus until we are able to get Mudryk in January to take Martinelli to the forward. I believe that we will still win against West Ham.

I still think that Arsenal will look for other alternatives now even though Nketiah is still there.
He does sometimes play very well when given the chance but on the other hand just hoping for him is a little difficult I think so it would be great if there were additional strikers there. Currently there are several names that are actually associated with Arsenal, but until now there is still no clarity.

Nketiah should just be given sometime to develop his forward skills and convert assists to goals. Goal scoring is the primary assignment of a forward player but it not always easy sending the ball into the net and it happens when the player is played by the coach as a substitute player. Even if Arteta will find a replacement in the Summer transfer window he can still build up with  Nketiah while he work on making his new signings.

I think Arteta will pay attention to this but on the other hand only relying on Nketiah for 3 months Gabriel is injured obviously not a good choice so indeed they still need to bring at least one striker in this transfer even though Nketiah will be a priority but still he must also be there replacement so that he is not overly portioned especially with a very busy schedule I think they should make several options in substitutions so that they are not too tired.

Manchester City's losing to Brentford has helped Arsenal get more comfortable in the lead. However I believe Manchester City will be making up for this loss by a good win against Leeds. Because Leeds are already one of the teams being quite weak at defending. I don't think they stand much chance in this match. Haaland seems to be hungry for goals and wins as we understood this from his effort against Liverpool in the EFL Cup match. The team effort was also impressive there.

After this match they don't have an easy fixture though. Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham are going to be their next opponents respectively. It will be really challenging for them to play three big matches in a row but we will see how good they will deal with them. If they collect 9 points still then Arsenal can start worrying about them more.
