agree, Arsenal did play very well, with Arsenal beating West Ham, the top of the standings is still controlled by Arsenal, so that they continue to strengthen their position to be able to win the title of the best later.

Maybe it is not Manchester City but for me is Newcastle,just look at their performance which is impressive and they are not losing a game from many games in a row now,they are the most performing team of the tournament together with Arsenal.

Manchester City did not win the last game and also the previous one barely managed to win at the additional time against a team like Fulham.They need to change their performance if they need to still be in the fight against Arsenal for the title and Leeds is not an easy team although I think they will win comfortably this game.

Finally Liverpool got their first 3 points after international break that playing at Aston Villa home ground Liverpool has successfully control the game since early minutes and it doesn't take long for Liverpool to score first goal from Moh Salah and leading 2-0 in the first half makes Liverpool comfortable to continue their domination until the match ended besides that their 18 years old youngster Stefan Bajčetić has just made his first goal in premier league and  Klopp was so happy with his progress

Liverpool has proven it to people that they are capable to move forward by achieving 3 points from the match in this premier league competition, despite the challenge that caused them poor performance in their last matches.  This is a sign that Liverpool really used this FIFA world cup competition break to prepared for the match, because they were able to achieved many goals to improve their points which many people has concluded that Liverpool will not make it again. There is a hope for Liverpool to fight for second position because Manchester city will not allow any team to take over the first position from then despite they are in third position.

Beating Leeds I don't think is a difficult matter for City. although surprisingly City also lost to Brentford in the game before the break. but in the match against Liverpool, City has shown their game is improving.
I believe there is no problem to get 3 points. and that will make City's position unchanged and continue to stick to Arsenal and of course, Newcastle is overshadowing them.

Even though Newcastle is currently in second place, it shows that new competitors will be difficult to predict and make Manchester City have to pay more attention to what might happen. It is evident that after the World Cup was over, the Premier League underwent many reshuffles at every club, and it was evident to see how Arsenal, Newcastle, and Manchester City played deserved a ticket to the Champions League. It seems that Newcastle's development will still continue and the next transfer market will take a step further.

If Manchester City wins against Leeds then Manchester City will return to second place and are only 5 points away from Arsenal, actually it's not that far away because they can still catch up and shift Arsenal at the top of the standings

I wasn't much surprised because the teams that were supposed to win all won. Such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle etc. The ball is now in the curt of Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United to handle.
I strongly believe that Leeds will not see a point in the hands of Manchester City and Manchester United will not like to play like Liverpool against Nottingham Forest.
I have heard that some Manchester United defenders would be absent, but then Maguire's confidence has been boosted by the world cup, he should be more of an asset to United than liability.
As for Chelsea, Potter will have no justification to lose or draw against the unpowerful Bournemouth.

What I'm waiting for today is the Chelsea vs AFC Bournemouth and Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest matches, not matches for Manchester City because the team will play tomorrow against Leeds United. Now for the matches that finished yesterday I saw several teams that won by scoring three goals, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Fulham, Newcastle and also Brighton.

They all really looked extraordinary after the world cup break, making the competition in the Premier League look fierce again this season. That's why I'm impatient and curious about the results that Chelsea and Manchester United will get today, because they are both also improving themselves and will try to win every game in order to get a better ranking.

Four games in a row is a lot for Chelsea, but even worse for Chelsea in all the previous 4 games they lost they didn't score a single goal! And that's even though they have Mount, Sterling and Pusilic in the lineup.
I think Graham Potter's meeting the day before with the team management is no coincidence. It may even be his last game as head coach if Chelsea lose.
Bournemouth is not the easiest opponent, but Chelsea can beat them and if Potter wants to stay in charge of Chelsea, they need to beat Bournemouth.

Arsenal made a good start by scoring a win in the match against west ham at the Emirates stadium. were 1-0 down in the first half but Arteta squad were able to turn things around in the second half. Even though without being strengthened by Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal performance was quite good in that match, this indicates that Arsenal are not depending on one player in their game scheme this season so without Gabriel they can continue to win in that match. this victory was also very special for arteta because he could dedicate this victory to arsene wenger who was present to watch this match.

this attacking trio is very efficient and I think what people have already realized how this attacking trio came to make arsenal at the top of the premier league and I hope that arsenal does not sell any of these players in the next 2 seasons because with this trios, a good defense and a solid midfield Arsenal could manage to win the premier league and could go far in the champions league next season

I also see that chelsea has a good chance of winning this game, in fact chelsea needs to win this game because they are already 5 games without winning, and they have 3 consecutive defeats, for a team as big as chelsea to stay 5 games without winning and worse being 3 games with consecutive defeats, this is a great humiliation, I think the coach needs to correct where he is failing, because this is a situation in which the coach is responsible for this bad performance of the team, chelsea has good players, this sequence of bad results is not justified

Chelsea may have different result compared with whole big clubs in the premier league that were easily beating the big clubs. I meant if we must also take a look at the fact that if chelsea was not even making a single goal from so many matches that already happened. that makes me doubt if chelsea can even win against bournemouth. Chelsea is almost the same like a mediocre team in EPL. This club is worst under the new owner and coach.
Chelsea may be buying a lot of new players in january and that will not even change the situation if chelsea is performing the worst compared with so many of its competitors in EPL

Of course I still picked him as the favorite to win this season. Currently Man City are at number 3 due to match difference. I believe they are still capable of chasing Arsenal. 24 EPL matches are still very many chances of winning and expect Arsenal to make mistakes and lose points.
As for Newcastle, I don't take them into account champions. But maybe ending up inside that top 5 is very possible. But I don't know if they use the January transfer market to buy new players It could change their position for the better.

Manchester City still haven't played and will compete tomorrow but seeing as their opponent actually has a big chance for second place is still very clear because I think the difference of 1 point from Newcastle doesn't really mean anything.
Their condition is also still quite good although sometimes Leeds has a few surprising times when facing big teams I don't think this is too much of a problem for Manchester City.
But saying Arsenal's strong competition is a real thing this season, it's good that some big teams are also starting to stretch like Liverpool who managed to win although it's a shame that Tottenham couldn't get full points.

City are in a better space to chase Arsenal than Newcastle, it is how a winning and big club and team to behave by getting back I to the game after the penalty was scored by westham to put them up. Arteta boys came back stronger into the game as they should.
I am also convinced that Manchester City wouldn't slack on the chase for the top four position, Leeds used to be stubborn as Wolverampton but Manchester City will still find a way to neutralize all that plans and tactics. Arsene Wenger was present to watch gunners winning that game.
