Chelsea are in difficult position right now after suffering their 6th defeat in the Premier League from Manchester City, I pessimistic with Chelsea opportunity back to top fourth standing position looking on current 10 points behind Manchester United as the latest team for UEFA Champion League spot zone.

I think for Primer League tittle have close totally for Chelsea looking on current standing behind 19 points, seems crazy with Chelsea performance in this season and Graham Potter failed bring back Chelsea to the top standing placed. I don't think how long his position secure as Chelsea manager looking underperformance until right now and Chelsea dropped to 10th position standing awhile in Primer League.

Chelsea's 2023 is off to a rough start. The Blues are ten points away from the top four and ten points away from relegation. EPL point table shows Chelsea at 10th position; with the way Chelsea are playing presently, Chelsea might not climb back to the top. Having the injury at the wrong time is just too stressful for the team. The coach has my trust because the team would have been in a better position without the injury.

As well as being 10 points away from fourth place and 10 points from the relegation zone, Chelsea are also stuck in 10th place after dropping three points at Stamford Bridge. It is increasingly difficult for Chelsea to get into fourth place after their performance has worsened, there is no other way to do it than to enter the transfer market to strengthen their team. Potter also hasn't found the best strategy while he was appointed as coach, Potter has a tough task so he can return Chelsea to its best form. Potter's future depends on Chelsea's performance on the pitch, if he is unable to bring Chelsea into the European Zone, his future will not last long at Stamford Bridge.

I expected the goal to be above one against Chelsea. The club's performance this season has been its worst in recent times and it might affect their ability to play in European competition next season.

But reviewing the performance of Chelsea yesterday, I would say their performance has improved to a large extent. They played good football and created some goalscoring chances that were underutilized. Considering the technical and player quality of Manchester City one would have comfortably predicted that the match would have been an easy one for City but they had to fight hard to win the game. That goal by R. Mahrez in the 63rd minute was caused by floppy defending by the Chelsea side, especially by Marc Cucurella. He was at the back of Mahrez, instead of covering the attacker from the front.

Chelsea defense was good in the first half unfortunately they couldn't keep it up until the second half and luck on Manchester City side
we can conclude that Chelsea needs to improve its defense and attack of course just look at the difference between the total goals and conceded 1 goal
as a top team this is definitely a bad record there is no other choice they have to recruit new players.

There is not much time for Potter to evaluated the result of the match against Manchester City so he have to bringing Chelsea to gets the winning results for next 1 or 2 matches and if Potter has failed to fulfil management target i am sure not necessary to wait until end of season because soon Potter will be sacked and before it under Tuchel Chelsea was very familiar with top 4 but now their position was reflected Potter probably not the right manager for Chelsea however Chelsea has 10 difference points with Manchester United who in the top 4 position and it's hard for them to finish at champion league zone considering Chelsea performance wasn't getting better and even if Chelsea always play like this even top 6 also will be so hard for them

You are right, the total goals that Chelsea have made in the league this season only have an average of 1.18 and are not much different from the goals conceded which also average 1.12. This means that all the problems are on all their lines in defense and in attack and this will be a bad season for Chelsea, they are no longer in contention for the title this season.
This Sunday Chelsea will also return against City for the FA Cup match, this will be the right time to avenge if their coach has the right tactics in the match later, but it looks like Potter still can't find the right tactics to apply to his squad, which is why Chelsea is still a team that is still struggling to find the right one.

Chelsea will still loose to Manchester City in the FA cup game they have on Sunday, not Saturday. Poor Chelsea struggling this season. The only hope they have for a trophy this season is in the UEFA champions league, but I am also sure they will not be able to do well against the very strong teams in the Champions League also if they do not get some quality players that can add some improvement to their performance in scoring goals this January. If they continue loosing games, Graham Potter may loose his job.

Everybody thinks the coach is Chelsea’s major problem. But honestly I don’t know about other games he’s managed but yesterday’s lineup was okay. I expected a tough game when i saw the lineup but Chelsea’s injury crisis deepened against Manchester City after Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic were both forced off inside the first 22 minutes. If it was for those absences, I think Chelsea would have registered a goal.

Manchester City continues to follow Arsenal.  I couldn't see much of Chelsea's position in the match.  Chelsea could not pose a great danger, except for one position of Pulisic.  Arsenal's draw with Newcastle pushed City to play with even more pressure.  City found a lot of chances.  The game could have ended differently.  However, as a result, it was important to get 3 points, even if it was with 1 goal.  I was a little surprised that the goalkeeper did not interfere with the ball and watched it when Chelsea conceded.  It's not a mistake the goalkeeper of a team of this level would make.

Chelsea didn't play so bad. The thing I saw is that a lot of their balls were not on target.
I think they held Man City good. It was the substitutes that were able to create chances and score. The problem with Chelsea is that their good players are injured, and it is affecting their performance.
I hope Chelsea is able to redeem themselves in the match with City again in the coming days.
Jack Grealish and Riyad Mahrez were awesome in the match.

I don't even think chelsea can leave from so many problems easily. Chelsea has problem in all of sectors. This team didn't have good midfielder and defender. Azpili and thiago may the only good defenders who rarely making blunders like another defenders like fofana or even cucurela which has been known as a failed transfer by chelsea caused by cucurela was making so many blunders .
It seems like that playing in the chelsea was not giving good impact for his career. Chelsea was losing another points again which has been making the gap become very big to the another top clubs

Chelsea still got bad results after losing to Manchester City with a narrow score of 0-1. Even though as hosts, Chelsea should have been able to put pressure on Man City, but they were conceded by Riyad Mahrez's goal in the 63rd minute. If Chelsea continues to get bad results in every game then they will not be able to stay in the EPL for the next season. Now Chelsea are in 10th place in the standings, making their history sink even more.

I think the arrival of coach Graham Potter can make the Chelsea players return to their best performance, but it seems that it has not been successful enough so far. Chelsea's next opponent is Fulham, but Fulham is now also very strong compared to the previous season, Chelsea must be vigilant if they want to get a win in this match.

This is a bad result that we shouldn't be surprised to see, yes that's because even before the game Chelsea always got bad results even with more opponents. What needs to be highlighted is the role of Graham Potter in cultivating his players, just look at last night again when Kai Havertz was plotted as the main striker again, I can't stop thinking about what Graham Potter was thinking about setting up the formation. However, looking at the data available at the start of the match, Rahem Sterling had been pulled out to be replaced by Aubameyang and that turned Aubameyang into the main striker again. But the result is still the same, they can't do anything, yes, even though the opponent is Man City, at least they are able to provide fierce resistance, especially when playing as the host, Chelsea should be able to gain points or at least get a draw in this match.

I did not watch the match and I checked the statistic of the match at flashscore.com. What I can read in the statistic is that, Manchester City made 12 goals attempts with 3 shot on target while Chelsea made 8 goal attempts with 2 shot o target. This statistic shows the opposite situation with what you say here. Did you watch the match and you made your own analysis or what you said is based on other statistic?

City was getting full points while potter must feel so bad with another bad result achieved by chelsea. Again and again striker has become the main problem for chelsea. The quality of current striker of chelsea is so bad. It can be see from the positioning of striker that didn't even wanna try to get into the front. The match is interesting and honestly I think a draw would be a fair result for both teams. Each team had a good half (Chelsea had a first half and Manchester City had a second half) so generally, they should end the match with a draw.

With three points from Chelsea and a draw from Arsenal, Manchester City reduced their difference with Arsenal to only 5 points.  A next match day, they will both have two big matches with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. It will be a week to see a clearer chance of Arsenal in this season. If they fail, Manchester City win, I believe that The Gunners will fall into a crisis and let Manchester City take a lead again.

The chance of Lewis Hall is not too clear in my opinion. It is even smaller than a half of chance but you're right, it is a last chance Chelsea created in the match.

In big matches, things can be changed very quickly. The match between Chelsea and Manchester City was decided by only one goal.

In a first half, Chelsea created more opportunities and they came very closely to hit Manchester City goal net. However, they were lack of luck and could not have at least one goal.

In the second half, Manchester City played better but before the goal of Manchester City, Chelsea had a very good chance from Thiago Silva. Finally Riyad Mahrez scored an easy goal and Chelsea defense should do better in that situation when Manchester City only had 2 players in their box.

It is always very hard for Manchester city to beat Chelsea. and again Manchester City always found it difficult to score Chelsea with many goals nowadays compared with to Manchester united and arsenal. But watching that match yesterday I discovered that some of man city player are not in form especially  foden and Rodrigo and even de-bruyne was not that playing better.

Man City was able to bring on substitutes like Mahres and Grealish, who helped the team attack more and even score goals in the second half. When these players are added to the squad, little changes are made by Man City. Given Chelsea's recent poor performance, I even entertained the possibility that Man City would score four or five goals.but seriously Chelsea try their best.
