TBH, I rarely heard that fans are happy because of that reason. Only a few fans who can understand about the increase of performance.
Most fans are happy because of the team won the match and got 3 points.

If Chelsea had been performing like this, they won't have lost or drawn some of their matches the way they did.

No guarantee about this. Sometimes good performance can't result in getting 3 points. Without goals, a team cannot win full points.

Sincerely what Chelsea needs badly is a striker that can help do the scoring.

But on the other hand I think that unexpected conditions can happen but Arsenal are still strong and 1 point against Newcastle is actually still very good because Newcastle's performance this season is very different. You can't predict this match,United have been consistent with winning their matches since they came came back from the world cup break. The team is playing good football and will be able to win City when they meet. Eric Ten Hag boys should not be underestimated.

Fulham have even a better placement than Chelsea now indeed. This should also be a clue about what can happen in this game. If we take the head-to-head games into account we can see it like it is a comfortable game for Chelsea. But I think those games would be misleading for the current situation. Chelsea are having problematic days and Fulham have the strength to steal at least one point in this. I might prefer to bet on both teams to score instead.

Fulham has been really good this season and much better then Chelsea this season. Even tho Chelsea got a more expensive team and better on paper they were really bad. But Mitrovic dosent play because of his card trouble and he is the main reason why fulham was playing good. So Chelsea might win this.

The problem of Chelsea is that the signings they made last year have refused to fire the club to the top, Manchester city getting all three points against Chelsea came as no surprise to me, Injury to Ngolo Kante have exposed the blues, they need quality replacement and they need play the style of football that will fit the  managers pattern of play, Currently on 10th position the blues have to make things right or keep going,  Potter should be given more matches to get this team on, I really believe in the work he is doing there.

Unfortunately, the different number of games does not allow one to assess the position / prospects of the teams at a glance (for example, Newcastle looks very strong because they have only one defeat, but they have already played 18 games), but it is obvious that Arsenal and City will fight for the title, and all the rest for the top 4. Manchester united did a big blunder that aided 'em (Everton) to get a cheap goal -- without much stress.... David de gea has an explanations for that.
I'm always proud of this 'Rashford' dude; he came almost in time, when the goal was needed to top up. I don't think Everton is really gonna give in to that defeate, maybe that's the main reason David should be more careful this time around, though their key player, 'Alex iwobi' has been taken down on a minor injury which is enough for him to quit the game just too early enough ... Let's see what happens next as the score remain 2:1 on the score sheet.

You are right only Arsenal and Manchester City will fight for the title while the other teams only target the Champions League zone and European League
We know Arsenal are comfortable in the standings but the difference of 5 points is not a safe position for Arsenal Manchester City could take over at any time

Chelsea has complex problems, even after the change of coach they still can't get up. Actually, they still have players who are pretty good but maybe the tactics used are not appropriate or effective. Not only that, they don't seem to have high motivation to give optimal and good games and win matches. Is it because they've been too hard to come back in the Premiere so they can't be maximal? On the other hand, over time, Chelsea's position in the EPL has been increasingly shifted down, they have even experienced bad match results before. Maybe they need a new season to restart their passion.
