He got an assist and a goal, he is the MOTM.

No, it's not. Manchester City is not what you say it is. They haven't lost since the Premier League resumed after the Qatar 2022 World Cup break. Perhaps the downturn you're referring to is that they've struggled to score in the last two games when they're usually capable of 3 goals.

Newcastle have draw their last 2 matches. While they did a good job to draw with Arsenal but they should have won Leeds. They are on the same point with Manchester United and they have played a game more. They really need to start winning games again if they want to retain their UCL spot. If they go down to fourth, the chances of them going further down is very big because they top Tottenham with just 2 points.

Newcastle play Sheffield Wednesday today in the FA cup and I expect them to win. They play Leicester City after that in the premier league and I also expect them to win because Leicester is not in a very good form at the moment.

The problem with the Premier League is that there are already too many strong teams. In Spain there are 3 strong teams (sometimes 4 but when Sevilla, or another team from 4th place, fails no one is surprised), in Italy there are 4 strong teams, in Germany there is only one. There are already too many strong teams in England and no matter how good they all are, someone has to be a loser. Funny paradox, right? Try to put these teams in such an order that you can't say that someone has been in a disaster: Arsenal, Liverpool, City, United, Tottenham, Newcastle, Chelsea. It's impossible.

And certainly, not as simple as we are discussing. The reason is, Arsenal have consistently played their matches in the second half of this season. Arsenal was only held to a draw by Newcastle at their own headquarters, even though the Gunners actually had a lot of opportunities, they just couldn't take advantage of the momentum. Arsenal are still at the top of the standings, only Man City is still overshadowing the Gunners by five points.

I think Manchester United don't need to chase Arsenal this season, their focus is to finish in 4th position in the standings until the end of the season and that can lead them to participate in the Champions League for the next season.
