It was a pretty bad result for Chelsea.    I thought this would be their first win of the season but they got a big loss. Even after West Ham got a red card they still scored another goal against Chelsea. When you look at the statistics of the game Chelsea seem very superior to their opponent. But the result doesn't say the same thing.

Yep. Chelsea performed really badly against West Ham, I can't believe that they were defeated by 3 goals. Chelsea only made 1 goal in the first half, they couldn't score any goal in the second half. While West Ham scored 2 goals in second half although they played with 10 players since minute 67. Not sure why Chelsea performed worse in second half, but Chelsea looked like an amateur team.

They could win the ball possession, they also made more shot attempts. But they have no accuracy in shooting, so they couldn't score more goals. Pochettino must evaluate the ability of Chelsea players in shooting.

Maybe the turning point of the game was the penalty missed by Enzo Fernandez. Because if he scored the penalty Chelsea were going to get 2-1 ahead. After capturing the psychological superiority too they could have won this game.

Although Enzo Fernandez can score from the penalty kick, they still got defeated by 3-2. We can't blame Enzo Fernandez, it was the mistake done by all Chelsea players. All of them have no good mentality, they have no winning mentality.

I didn't expect that Man United lost 0-2. I bet this game would end goalless. Because in the first half both teams played equally strong.

This is something shocking to me also after Manchester United lost 0-2 to Tottenham Hotspur. After the departure of Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, who is there best top scorer I felt it was going to affect the team for a while before they put themselves back together again. But to my surprise, they were able to beat Manchester United even though at some point the pressure on the game was intense from both teams. I was thinking Manchester United will use their lack of attacking power since Kane left to their advantage but unfortunately it turned out to be their worst nightmare after luckily winning Wolves in their first premier league game this season.

Even Chelsea on the other hand also lost the game at the weekend and this is quite an unexpected outcome of the event most especially when both clubs have invested heavily in signing new players to put out their ability to win but revise is the case in this situation.

Chelsea had opportunities but couldn’t utilize them from the first half. It’ll be a big disappointment to the entire Chelsea team and fans after a poor end for them today. I knew this game was going to be tricky for Chelsea, they have far more quality/experienced players than West Ham, but the Hammers are more organized and they stuck to their gameplan throughout the match and that's why they won. Chelsea can continue on their spending spree but they need more organization, the players are not used to playing with each other and more often than not it seems they are either one step ahead or slower than their mates.

Having said that, there is no need for Chelsea to press the panic button yet, they haven't started the season the way they would have liked it, but Mauricio Pochettino still needs time to get used to his players and to get his best starting team; Chelsea should set their targets at a top four finish, i don't think they can win the EPL title.

Every game has a missed chance that could have been a turning point, but Chelsea lost the whole game, they had time to turn things around and take at least a point, but instead they conceded the third goal.
Now Luton, Nottingham and Bournemouth are waiting ahead of them - these are frankly weak rivals, so Pochetino is lucky to some extent, because if the rivals were stronger, then talk of resignation would have already begun. Although if Chelsea does not take at least 7 points in these games, I am sure such conversations will begin.

Chelsea didn't seem to have any luck against West Ham United, because apart from Enzo Fernandez who failed to execute a penalty well enough in the first half. Chelsea also could not take advantage of the opportunity when one of the players from West Ham United was sent off in the second half, even though Chelsea could control the ball with more than West Ham United. But Chelsea still seemed not lucky enough at that time so they had to accept defeat at the London Stadium.

I don't agree that Chelsea possesses a greater number of experienced players compared to West Ham. Are we assessing this based on age, years of playing football, or even their time in English football? Chelsea might make an error by underestimating the value of experience; it holds significance in the present. Experience can often assist players in grasping coaches' intentions better.

Rashford are not playing optimally, they don't look like they have a number 9. Hojlund's arrival is expected to solve this problem, but his position is still injured. This must be fixed by Manchester United because if things like this continue to be allowed then I think something like this could happen again in another match.

Today they did well, the player's attacked well. Raheem Sterling was the best player for Chelsea in the first half, big disappointed to see Enzo missing the penalty kick that should have seen them ahaed and made it difficult for blues to get back into the game.

I would consider Chelsea result a really big surprise so far considering how good they played in the first game at home against Liverpool.I think they are still a new team considering that Pochettino had time but most probably not enough to make them a stable team yet and the fact that they did not win against 10 players West Ham shows that they wanted badly to win and played in a chaotic way desperately trying to win while giving West Ham chances that unfortunately for Chelsea they were converted to goals.

Given how dominant Chelsea was against Liverpool the previous week and even in the preseason games I watched,it comes as much of a surprise to me.Chelsea plays well but the truth is that I don't believe the team has finishing line yet. Again, there are some errors in Chelsea's defense line today, so if they were able to control the pitch with that ball possession, I anticipated them to launch some significant offensive that may result in numerous goals. Seriously, Pochettino needs to revisit the transfer market and add a few required players. I can't just assume that despite controlling the field, they were unable to defeat the opposition with just 10 men.

Aston Villa did not want to lose the opportunity to win in front of the support of their fans. It seems that Unai Emery continues to improve the performance of his players after last season also appeared so extraordinary. This defeat left Everton in the temporary relegation zone and they must get 3 points in the next game if they don't want to experience the same season as before.

The performance of Chelsea in today's game against West Ham was absolutely a shadow of what we saw last weekend against Liverpool which is why I think there's is still room for improvement for the blues.
Most members of the squad weren't playing as first team players for the club last season and that's why I think they're still trying to understand each other. Their performance today against West Ham was very poor but I believe they can still do better going forward.

I think what a good coach  should do after having a terrible defeat is to make corrections and that's what the Aston Villa Unai Emery has done to his team after being beaten disgracefully by Newcastle in the 1st match of the season, lol and of course a 5-1 defeat was enough to boost their morale and they in return decided to destroy Everton with goals today, the Unai Emery team was so outstanding today and played like they didn't get any defeat last week of which if they've played this way against Newcastle maybe they would had won or even get 1point fron the match.
 Looking at Everton the club needs to start getting good performances else they could be relegated this season, their performance last season wasn't all good as well and i expected a change this season but so far it's been defeat upon defeat and they'll be facing Wolves who are also hungry to get their 1st win during the weekend on Saturday, anyways though they'll be playing at home but i think it's a draw match.

No one ever believed that Manchester United would lose a match to Tottenham due to both team's performances. If you check both team's performances from last season, you would conclude that Manchester United is in a better position to win against Tottenham. But that's not how football works. A team you were anticipating to win, might end up losing.
I know of how many of my friends that lost their bets just because of Manchester United's loss to Tottenham.

Judging from the way the blues played in last week's stalemate against Liverpool, I thought Mauricio Pochettino has put the pieces together and the rejuvenated Chelsea are going to be able to crush any team that comes their way. Today's results shows there's still a lot of work to be done by the manager, the dominated most of the game but were poor with their finishing in front of goals. Enzo missed a penalty in the first half, if he had scored it would have given them the lead and probably changed the tempo of the game as well as the subs in the second half. This result is not the expectations of Chelsea management and fans after spending so much this season. Many people expect that the overhauling of the team will bring back Chelsea to its competitive stage. The disappointing part of the game was that West Ham was not just able to hold the visitors after the red card but they scored a goal. But I won't condemn the Chelsea team because the league is just starting and the players need to understand themselves to be more productive. Maybe in further games, the beauty of the team will start showing.

Some Chelsea fans in my location have started blaming Mauricio Pochettino. They think he is incompetent, but for me, Chelsea's major problem is a natural and technical goal scorer. The money spent on bringing new midfielders would he been more profitable in signing a world-class striker. From the look of things, except for Nkunku's recovery, the blues might keep struggling to get goals.
