Modern football requires a goalkeeper who can build attacks from the ground with his accurate passing. But what happened to Machester United is that they neglected the things that a goalkeeper should have, namely good reflexes and also a good reading of the direction of the ball, and that is now not shown by Onana.
I would largely agree and say the same thing about Manchester United, which is that they have made a mistake in discarding David de Gea, although his weakness is not having good passing, in my opinion it is a weakness that can be corrected.

It's true that modern football demands a more well-rounded goalkeeper, one who can not only make spectacular saves but also contribute to distribute the ball effectively. While David de Gea is a world-class shot-stopper, his issue is not only passing, but also confident with the ball on the feet, decision making on where and when to pass the ball. He is also kind of GK who stays on the goal line, rarely claims the crosses and not good as sweeper.

On the other hand, Andre Onana's passing ability and his confidence with the ball in the feet is undeniable. He is comfortable on the ball and has a good range of passing, which allows him to initiate attacks from the back. However, as you mentioned, his shot-stopping abilities have been questioned. He has made some high-profile errors in recent years, which have raised doubts about his suitability for the defense structure of Manchester United.

Odds are still way in favour of Manchester City although I think the game is close between these big teams. I doubt there will be more than 2 goals difference. I find both teams to score as logic. Seeing Liverpool's players playing good in international matches is a good thing for sure, yet it doesn't guarantee that they will be fit in Manchester City match. City's players remain better and in good shape in my opinion.

Regardless, the fact that currently Ten Hag is still supported by Manchester United officials is already an answer that with all the controversies he has made with all the big ego he always has he will remain Manchester United coach at least until the end of this season.
Now saying he still has a lot of shortcomings is natural but on the other hand by looking at 4 wins from 5 matches that Manchester United run in the EPL it has proven that slowly Ten Hag is changing that even though I don't really like the way but the officials will not care too much about the way because what is cared about now is good performance and currently Ten Hag is in good enough condition to be able to improve Manchester United's performance slowly.

If Ten Hag remain in Manchester united till the end of this season, show that Manchester united will fail woefully because the coach don't have the knowledge to take Manchester united forward in this season and the management should take a good step to replace him to see if they can come up to four or third position in the premier league competition table. You saw what happened in some past matches that made some small teams to defeated them easily to reduced their points, and if you look at what their players are playing now you will know that many things has gone wrong with the team because they will still loose their next match that will make their president to take a good action on how to bring in potential coach.

Things like this are still possible but if this speculation continues to grow then indeed I think it doesn't really matter because last season Ten Hag was also initially considered a failure especially when he had problems with Ronaldo and Greenwood's problems at that time worsened the atmosphere of the attacking line from Manchester United but in the end he was still able to bring Manchester United to the Champions League zone and now the situation is not much different so indeed the management of Manchester United will definitely make the same gamble by continuing to entrust Manchester United to Ten Hag so that he continues to prove himself.
Even though things like this are sometimes not too liked even by Manchester United fans themselves but when the club management has made a decision then they only have to see how Ten Hag performs until the end of this season.

Yes Manchester City is at around 1.6 - 1.7 and Liverpool at 4.4 - 4.5 depending on the bookie. Liverpool has some erratic moments in their game sporadically. They tied the game against Luton and then there was the draw against Brighton, but they didn't dominate Brighton either and both teams could have won the game. Manchester City also has had some bad times this season, but I agree that it wouldn't feel right to give Liverpool a shot here. The odds aren't bad for some risk-takers, but still betting against Manchester City doesn't seem to be justifiable here. Maybe betting on a draw. which gives about the same odds as for a Liverpool win.

The present age football, we have witnessed enough actions, much pressure will be exerted on a player if he's not performing brilliant as a  player. I've watch David de Gea in Manchester United Jersey for years, he do have his good and bad effects which serves as weaknesses., but André Onana weakness seems to be the worst. David de Gea was complete as consistent goalkeeper for Manchester United but what he lacks was not having the accuracy of good passing to his teammates which we all that it can be corrected with enough practiced on the training ground.

All the players he has signed are under performing or inconsistent and I don't really think he he is love by the players or maybe there is no love among the players.

Liverpool have been on the right track if you ask me, they won't be slacking down for Manchester City after watching them displaying in a way they shouldn't have. I still don't see Manchester City winning the game even if they're being supported and favored by the odds fmto win the game.

I feel pity for Alexander Arnold, he'll be tested and dealt with by Doku. Prediction of that day should be for Alexander Arnold to be carded.
I don't know how fit Erling Haaland would be, but I'm expecting Virgil Van Dirk to pocket him in that game.

Anyways, growing amd building around Brightons coach is the best chance for him honestly.

I don't feel positive about Liverpool to win against Manchester City honestly. They couldn't do this in the Premier League since November 2015. I won't be surprised if this series continues for Manchester City as well. Because they are having their brightest years these days. No matter how much Liverpool have made progress since the previous season Manchester City are still seriously favourite side.

The thing Liverpool can try to do is to get a draw at least. If Chelsea can do that why wouldn't Liverpool do it? However that game was in Stamford Bridge. We can see a way different performance from Manchester City in Etihad in a big game.

Good! Your opinion remains your opinion and not for others. Erik Ten Hag knows what he's capable of and has no doubt about him, if he had the slightest doubt, Andrea Onana would have been on the bench already.
There should be no need for unnecessary comparisons, David De Gea had his time with the club, now it's time to see others making history. The club had a rough start this season and it affected everyone even Bruno Fernandez seems to be playing shit ( We all know about his capabilities )

Another example, Joao Felix arrived Chelsea when they had a rough season and the poor environment made him look like a bad player he's not!

Onana who was acquired by Manchester United during the summer from Inter Milan was seen to be the perfect choice replacement for David De Gea, yea he’s made some errors while standing between the sticks but we can’t take the fact that he’s a great goalie, he currently sits with the highest save percent this season and has 4 clean sheets to his name, his bad start to the season shouldn’t be thing of worry for the fans since ETH has confidence in him.

 Manchester United were very poor this season and I think that generally affected team’s performance both individually and as a team, like they said when you get in a bad circle you look exactly as bad as others though some factors make you stand out and get distinguished, I think Onana would ve a great goalie at Old Trafford he needs time and the team needs time too.

The champions league may be the deal breaker, it will be really bad if they are knocked out of every competition. That will be a red flag for ETH to leave. Sometimes the club is playing better and sometimes it's not. The upcoming games will be easy game for united to gather 6 points but the hard fixtures is awaiting manchester united after that. I think that there will be some changes to be made by sir him once he will come to the united. I can't wait the big changes to happen with united.

At the moment ten hag is exhausted of all professional ideas as a manger of Manchester united he's emptied himself and therefore has nothing better to offer to the club. Buying new plays in the January window next year is not the solution as some may think. One problem with ten hag is that he doesn't know how to manage that manager-players relationship in a cordial way that's mutually appealing just like you can find in a coach like Pep Gardiola. A coach isn't supposed to be having beef with his players you have got to correct a player constructively when wrong and not the other way. That's one of the problems of Ten hag in United squad he needs to tackles with urgency.

This season, Manchester United performed better than Chelsea, but if you measure it with their performance last season, Manchester United certainly experienced a slight decline in their performance. I agree with you that Erik Ten Hag should not be fired early because the work done by Erik Ten Hag so far is still quite good because it has succeeded in bringing Manchester United back close to the top 4.  Manchester United players at the start of season were also hit by a storm of injuries which hampered their game development a bit.

Zinedine Zidane is one manager that's made himself so controversial with his regular decisions especially the ones that has to do with his managerial future that it's now very difficult to predict his next destination to continue his managerial career but I think a club as big as Manchester United can as well lure the Frenchman to the Old Trafford whenever they get rid of the club's current manager Erik Ten Hag.

You're making a point here cause the next coach might find it very difficult to manage a team that's trying to recover it's form and like you said it would hinder their growth and they might probably finish close to the bottom of the league, just like it happened to Chelsea when they sacked Tuchel of their new owner Bohely's arrival last season and it would be very bad for Manchester United.

 Right now i think the best solution is stick with Erik Ten Hag and give he the right backinģ he needs in the upcoming window, as well as providing him with a Sporting director and other executives that are sports inclined not some business man like Mourtough and Ed Woodward, then maybe we could see some improvement in the teams performance

Well you are right, good results in the last 5 matches will be a consideration I'm sure Ten Hag will be given the opportunity until the middle of the season this means he still has time to prove his ability as a coach, I heard from several media that Manchester United will make changes to the management, Sir Jim Ratcliffe as a new investor wants to fix internal problems and transfers lately and this is a good step to bring Manchester United back to competition. As you said lately Manchester United often bring players who are not as expected and this is the main focus for Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Regarding the Champions League, actually Manchester United still have a chance to qualify as long as they can win in the last 2 matches one of them has to beat Bayern Munich in the last match but before that Manchester United also had to go through matches in the Premier League against Newcastle and Chelsea, obviously this is a challenge when they need to win every match.

Strange enough, but this is what happens Man City will be untouched by sanctions. We don't care how big this club is when the investigators just distort the facts, it means there is something wrong behind all this. I see that Everton has performed well recently where Sean Dyche men have won 3 wins in the last 5 matches. So, that is quite an interesting achievement that they have made recently. But unfortunately they were subject to FFP sanctions which resulted in them being deducted 10 points and for the moment Everton were in the relegation zone. But looking at the opportunities that exist, I am sure Everton can overcome this by winning and getting out of the relegation zone. Previously I was also surprised to check the standings table because Everton recorded 4 wins but were still stuck in the relegation zone and after finding out it turned out they had received a penalty.

There are even many news sources that say that the FFP case might haunt several big teams in the EPL, even like Manchester City, they were declared to have violated many rules. However, so far I see that Everton will not remain silent with the decision to deduct points and they will appeal this decision. I think we will see a lot of drama again this season and I hope Everton can escape this punishment after they appeal.

It seems like fati was not happy in brighton. Barcelona's director will be also returning him to the club but this guy is just an average player. Nothing special from him. His performance with brighton was so average.

There is a news said that if liverpool and totenham have been linked to him but i think that fati was only playing for barcelona.
