We saw a very composed performance from Chelsea in the match against Manchester City. However, the defense had a chance to do better. Even then I would say Chelsea's overall gameplay was very good. I could imagine Chelsea being able to pull off a miracle, but they needed luck to do it. But they didn't need luck in this match. Chelsea just didn’t give up after they conceded a goal. That happens with other opponents of the Citizens. But in my opinion, Chelsea believed until the end that they could win.

Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Brentford should have been beaten by Chelsea based on the quality of their players, but instead these teams succeeded in stealing points from Chelsea.

The match was going so dramatically. It's always like that. It comes as no surprise that the match between Chelsea and Tottenham is always highly anticipated and guarantees an entertaining display of football. I remember that when tuchel was also confronting conte in the field. It will be so dumb if chelsea would not able to win against 9 men.
The chance for totenham to do counter attack is very small. The Tottenham team's tactic involved utilizing Son as the lone striker, while the other players maintained their positions in the midfield. Wrongly attacking chelsea will be in result getting counter attack back from chelsea.
It's a dilemma whether the club needs to attack or defend in this match.
This is why i do like to watch the match between totenham vs chelsea. The game is always very attractive and there were lots of drama on this game.

You are right and I have seen games that could still be won by a team that was one man down, but I can't remember that I saw a team on that level that was two men down and still won the game. And I mean as you said counter attacks were of course impossible for Tottenham and since this is one of their strongest tactics, it was quite over for them when the second player was sent off. The result in the end was quite high for Chelsea and it could have ended with a goal less than that, but still the win was quite safe for them.

I was very disappointed with the performance of Tottenham's players against Chelsea. Because I was not at all prepared to see such a poor performance from Tottenham at home. Tottenham were in great form. So we had high expectations from Tottenham in this match as well. But Chelsea's players dominated this match. Chelsea had 63% ball possession as well as attacking a lot. And perhaps this is why Tottenham's performance was quite poor. While Chelsea's players made a total of 17 shots, Tottenham's players made only 8. Let's hope we don't see such a poor performance from Tottenham against Wolves. Players need to be more confident.

Ok but I think a game like this one with two red cards really is something that happens once in a season at maximum. This game was so wild that I would just put that into a category of its own. It should not happen, but it can happen. The loss against the Wolverhampton Wanderers is worse. The game against Chelsea was one that you should just forget about, but against the Wanderers Tottenham was the weaker team and got the knock out in the final minutes of the game. That'd what really hurts them. Now it is important for them to get back into shape and win theit games again.
