This match was really interesting as Liverpool drew the match at Manchester City ground today. Liverpool and Manchester City played a great attack from start to finish, but both teams dropped points in the draw, Liverpool would have gone ahead of Manchester City if they had won. As the two sides drew, Manchester City moved a point ahead of Liverpool at the top of the standings. However, if Arsenal wins today's match against Beneft, it will definitely overtake Manchester City and move to the first position in the points table. But today the match will be really interesting between these two teams Arsenal and Benfort because the match is not in Arsenal's field but in Benfort's field that's why the match is likely to be a draw. As in the standings, Manchester City are currently at the top position and if Arsenal can win against the opposition today, they will take Manchester City's place.

Guardiola did it again, not a single substitution for the whole match, I don’t know why he sometimes makes such decisions, it looks strange because Klopp made five substitutions and it is clear that Liverpool had fresher players on the field and perhaps thanks to this Liverpool were able to equalize score. It is difficult to evaluate such a match, I liked City more, but Liverpool managed to play this match to a draw, perhaps this is a fair result.

However, I think this result is very fair for both teams even though it seems City is a little disappointed because they couldn't take advantage of the opportunity to play at home.

I knew from the start, City wouldn't net more goals against the Reds, that alone indirectly pointed out a draw tie. Manchester City is hold to a 1-1 draw tie against Liverpool, a shocking match tie for City who thought they have already won the game. Making substitution will not change the game for Pep Guardiola because he has already made his calculations and confirm he doesn't need anything unweighted the balance of the game. Manchester City dominated and kept the pressure on Liverpool but couldn't convert most of their chances to goals at Etihad Stadium.

It’s the 73rd minute now and Newcastle doesn’t seem to want to relent as they’re still pressing hard for another goal. It seems the pressure is a lot on Chelsea as James has managed to get himself a second yellow card and has been sent off.

Another goal for Newcastle from Gordons to make it four goals now, to match the same scoreline that Chelsea had against Tottenham. Chelsea usually play well against big teams, but their loss today and poor performance shows that Newcastle is not a big club . Big shame for Chelsea, and disappointment for Sterling who scored a very nice free kick early in the game. Chelsea really need to improve their defensive capabilities because they score them too easily.

The premier league is open to any team to win currently with the Liverpool and Manchester City draw. If Arsenal win their game, they will have a good advantage.

Haha this is a joke, really? How can they be this bad after their 2 games went so well but this is Chelsea who are sometimes unpredictable.
The score was quite heavy in this match and indeed this is beyond my expectations because I expected something more like what Chelsea had shown against Tottenham and Manchester City but in this match Chelsea really couldn't do much.
What I like most about Newcastle is that Isak is back after injury and he immediately scored in this match and that's a very good thing.

As usual Chelsea returned to factory settings by losing to Newcastle. I don't understand anymore about the Blues, what was wrong with their performance, and what was wrong with Pochettino strategy, which ultimately made all his fans disappointed in all of them. The narrow defeat may still be understandable, but the 4-1 score is embarrassing, it is true that they only play well when they meet big clubs.

Chelsea position is currently still stuck in 10th place in the EPL standings, if you look at a situation like this, it's as if they didn't do anything in the transfer market last summer. Maybe it is now proven that the squad built by Pochettino needs time to adapt, at least for one season because the young players in his squad lack experience.

I don't know, if Roman Abramovich was still leading the club I think Pochettino would be finished, I mean he would be fired. For Newcastle, I have to appreciate them for their success amidst the storm of injuries that befell them, this victory is also important capital to go to PSG headquarters for the next match.

It’s all over for Chelsea as Newcastle has scored yet another goal to increase the scoreline and solidify their lead and chances of having a win in this game. Gordon for Newcastle scored the 4th goal almost effortlessly. The game is pretty much over as there is no coming back from this for Chelsea. And being a man down doesn’t help their chances.
Newcastle has been dominant in this second half and has controlled the game unlike the first half. I thought Chelsea would have a fighting chance and it briefly looked like they did in the first half of the game.
Good game and a likely win for Newcastle.

Of it you talking about the man down Newcastle has already scored 3 goals already so the one down was around 73 minutes.  And maybe they under estimated  Newcastle they have forgotten you don't joke with Newcastle and Newcastle always make it to top 5 so them winning is not surprising after all. That is football strategy might fail and might be used against you by the opponent.

Gurdiola is Fond this days of not making substitutions during big matches like this. I recall the game against Real Madrid last season when he played the both legs without making substitutions and when asked he said it was his substitutions the previous Seasons that cost him the match. Against Chelsea he made the mistake of substituting Doku and starting Gvardiol and that cost him, maybe that’s why he took corrective measures in this match not to substitute any player

Man City and Liverpool ended up with a draw. The game wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. Man City's performance was a bit disappointing. It seemed like they didn't really want to score a second goal after getting the first one. I think they're missing some spark and identity because Kevin De Bruyne is not playing.
The race for the title is going to be close. Now, it's up to Arsenal. If they win their next match, they'll be back at the top of the table. The ball is in Arsenal's court now.

The teams had very little time to get back in order after the international games, especially Liverpool which played away, so I'm pleasantly surprised that Liverpool were able to get a draw. Overall, an excellent result, since now both Arsenal and Tottenham (and even Newcastle, which will now obviously take 3 points) will be able to surpass/get closer to City.
By the way, as I said a long time ago, City had the easiest schedule of games at the beginning of the season, but now, on the contrary, it is very difficult and they have steadily begun to lose points, I hope this trend continues.

If seen directly, manchester city is not like usual when there is de bruyne, and indeed the international break may be quite disturbing to the team in the arrangement in the strategy as before.

What a way to announce his  return from injury by scoring a goal against Chelsea in a highly anticipated match. Isak has scored the opener for Newcastle united to put them ahead in the game, not that's  what so many people would never have anticipated but he did it anyway. Chelsea have gotten their self back into the game with beautiful freekick fired right over the wall into the back of the net by Raheem sterling making it 1-1 in the 23rdminute, its a thriller here.

That free kick was beautiful, I've been watching the technique used and it was just perfect. Before the free kick given to him, he should have made good use of that ball honestly. That was a good goal scoring opportunity which he snoozed. Joelinton doesn't play like a Brazilian, I don't even know why he made the line up. He had a free header but also missed.

Chelsea responded very well and they've been playing well. The offside trap was well kept but Cucurellla failed to make his moves smarter.
I'm suspecting the game to end as a draw, we'll see no more goals in the second half in my own opinion.
I feel like the lad Alexander Isak has been rushed into the lineup too quickly, good positioning and timing for that goal. Chelsea also have to invest in a new Goalkeeper.

The surprise Newcastle always try to take most times on big teams recently is surprising, i knew the return of isak to the Newcastle team will give them a facelift. But Newcastle winning Chelsea 4-1 was something I didn't envisage from the beginning of the game.
It was as if the Chelsea midfield and defence where demystified, because they couldn't hold on tight on the frontliners of Newcastle United.

The first half ended 1-1, but the second half was a disaster for Chelsea where they had to accept conceding 3 additional goals from Newcastle. Regarding this match, Chelsea once again failed to maintain their consistency in getting points in every match, even if they held Manchester City to a draw and beat Tottenham in the previous match.

There wasn't much Pochettino could do for Chelsea in this match because in the end all his plans failed. Newcastle dominated and played well at home, the 4-1 scoreline is something that will motivate them to face PSG in the Champions League in the next few days.

Even though Newcastle United’s main striker Isak is back from injury, they still have couple of players that are out due to injury which means they yet to fully recover from injury problems, then why will they defeat Chelsea?

Now it is now four games in a raw that Chelsea plays against Newcastle without winning, I hope Chelsea will work on their performance soon because they cannot qualify to the Champions League through top four in the Premier League this season with such performance.

Liverpool managed to force Manchester City to share points at the Etihad. Pep Guardiola squad stumbled to increase the difference in points in the standings, due to Trent Arnold actions in the 80th minute, which made the final score 1-1. For Klopp and his squad, this is a pretty good result, because he understands that it is not an easy matter to bring home 3 points from Etihad. This result also brings blessings to Arsenal, who are currently in 3rd place in the standings, if they get an additional 3 points in the match versus Brentford it will take them to the top of the EPL standings.

The Arsenal match is about to kick off in approximately 1,5 hours, and their chances of winning look really good. I think this is a crucial moment for Arsenal to take the lead in the league, thanks to the draw between Man City and Liverpool. If Arsenal plays against Brentford, they could earn 3 points, and I'm pretty confident about that.

In the recent match, Man City played well, scoring the first goal with Haaland's foot. Despite having more ball possession, Man City struggled to score the second goal. The midfield seemed to have difficulty determining an effective attacking strategy against Liverpool's defense. I really admire the duo of Kostas Tsimikas and Joel Matip, who emerged as heroes for Liverpool's defense. There were numerous tackles and blocks in the game at the Etihad.

By the look of things, Arsenal came prepared and I can see the effort they put in the first half, Brentford on the other hand are also trying their best but not enough. The problem with Arsenal in the first half is Ramsdele, wtf is Ramsdele doing and why will Artete include Ramsdele in this match, we all saw what Ramsdele did last time and Artete still decide to include Ramsdele, honestly speaking Rice did a great job in the first half.
Second half has just started and let's watch out, but Arsenal might win

I am confident that Arsenal will try their hardest to win the game because it is an opportunity for them to reclaim first place in the league.

Brentford have a very tight defense, that has been very hard to penetrate by the Arsenal players, Arsenal where able to score a goal, but it was cancelled as an offside, it was a very close call. Arsenal has to give thanks too because they did not concede even with the mistakes from their goalkeeper Ramsdale who was given a chance today. Arsenal needs to win this game, so I expect a more serious approach in the second half after seeing how well Brentford defended in the first half.

So much for the upcoming big Chelsea,lol,a totally destroyed team by Newcastle without much sweat,I bet on a Chelsea or draw as I thought they are in a great recent form,totally different from Newcastle which was doing really bad recently and they could not keep up a real good fight against Newcastle.

To many surprise results here tonight,including Luton town winning against Crystal Palace,at least West Ham did a great job in turning things around tonight,also the Nottingham game was a good one,I hope Arsenal can win easily in the night game that is about to start now,they should do so to take profit from the draw of City and Liverpool.

I couldn't help but smile when Chelsea was slaughtered by Newcastle, in fact I didn't mean to laugh at the final result of this match. But again, as I said in many posts, why doesn't Poche give opportunities or rotate his players when their pure striker can't be relied on? In fact, when Poche rotated his players, Chelsea played quite well. unlike this match, where Newcastle previously did not get positive results in their last two matches in different competitions.

But in this match, they were able to handle Chelsea well and overthrew them with a score of 4-1. I am very sure, you are not the only one who predicted that this match would end like this. in the few days of our discussion in this thread, most of us predicted that Chelsea would win this match. In fact, Newcastle didn't give Chelsea a chance.
for other matches, especially City vs Liverpool. as I said, I hope this match ends in a draw and yes the match ends with a score of 1-1 and hopefully Arsenal can overcome Brentford with a win.

The game against Man City today was quite engaging. at least Liverpool and Chelsea really don't well since they don fellow Man City play draw, the way them take this premier league like say na their papa get the it, they think say their only one that know how to play, what ever they're claimed wil be surly come to the end since we observed that their power as begin reduce down. If know Liverpool lose many of their opportunity they could have win against Manchester city.

But nevertheless, we can all witness Arsenal's performance in the first half. Arsenal is performing admirably, and I am confident that they will defeat Brentford. Let us see how it goes because I've seen a lot of signs since the first goal was disallowed, let see how the second half will be.

However I have a feeling that Todd may get tempted to sack him but I hope he doesn’t do it because there’s no good coach available hence I hope that Poch gets some more time.

Chelsea's crushing defeat tonight was really surprising how the Blues, who in the previous match were not able to perform well against two tough teams, had to suffer tonight with a fairly large score. I don't understand what happened to Pochettino's squad in the second half, they let the hosts party and the Blues players played aimlessly.

While Newcastle was able to perform brilliantly in front of their own supporters, the additional three points are very good for them to look at the opportunity to get to the top of the ladder. Yes, apart from that, this victory is also good capital to compete in the Champions League.

Brentford defence is really solid to have held it down till the 88 minutes before arsenal saw the back of the net. They've really made arsenal sweat to get a goal,  though Brentford hasn't been converting their chances, if not they would have been able to get a goal or two by now, but their defensive style has really been impressive. The Brentford attackers haven't shown much Impression.

OMG, Chelsea's comeback isn't quite there yet. Their performance remains inconsistent, and I'm increasingly doubtful about the blues' squad. Despite a fierce battle, Chelsea suffered a significant loss, and I still can't guarantee they'll compete in the top 5 this season. I thought Nkuku would play in this match, but that wasn't the case. James receiving a red card only adds to Pochettino's headaches for the next game's lineup.

Impressive play from Brentford, who almost took the lead in the 77th minute, but Arsenal's player managed to save the ball. I thought in the final minutes, Arsenal would go on the offensive by refreshing their attacking line, and the result was truly positive. Havertz, who came in at the 80th minute, maximized a lobbed pass and secured Arsenal's lead.

I still believe in Arteta and his strategy, although it took a long time until the end of the game to score the decisive goal. Congratulations, Arsenal.

The match between Liverpool and Manchester city was just like a replay for both team managers, as they have played against each other in a different league with different teams as well. The draw was expected somehow I must say.
Am however impressed with the Arsenal performance of today and how they kept composure to secure the much needed three points to climb on top the table.
They started off with a canceled goal from VAR and stuck to mostly set pieces and outside yard shots because of the defense of Brentford who were at home. Nice games today.
