I am confident that Arsenal will try their hardest to win the game because it is an opportunity for them to reclaim first place in the league.

Brentford have a very tight defense, that has been very hard to penetrate by the Arsenal players, Arsenal where able to score a goal, but it was cancelled as an offside, it was a very close call. Arsenal has to give thanks too because they did not concede even with the mistakes from their goalkeeper Ramsdale who was given a chance today. Arsenal needs to win this game, so I expect a more serious approach in the second half after seeing how well Brentford defended in the first half.

So much for the upcoming big Chelsea,lol,a totally destroyed team by Newcastle without much sweat,I bet on a Chelsea or draw as I thought they are in a great recent form,totally different from Newcastle which was doing really bad recently and they could not keep up a real good fight against Newcastle.

To many surprise results here tonight,including Luton town winning against Crystal Palace,at least West Ham did a great job in turning things around tonight,also the Nottingham game was a good one,I hope Arsenal can win easily in the night game that is about to start now,they should do so to take profit from the draw of City and Liverpool.

I couldn't help but smile when Chelsea was slaughtered by Newcastle, in fact I didn't mean to laugh at the final result of this match. But again, as I said in many posts, why doesn't Poche give opportunities or rotate his players when their pure striker can't be relied on? In fact, when Poche rotated his players, Chelsea played quite well. unlike this match, where Newcastle previously did not get positive results in their last two matches in different competitions.

But in this match, they were able to handle Chelsea well and overthrew them with a score of 4-1. I am very sure, you are not the only one who predicted that this match would end like this. in the few days of our discussion in this thread, most of us predicted that Chelsea would win this match. In fact, Newcastle didn't give Chelsea a chance.
for other matches, especially City vs Liverpool. as I said, I hope this match ends in a draw and yes the match ends with a score of 1-1 and hopefully Arsenal can overcome Brentford with a win.

Man City and Liverpool ended up with a draw. The game wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. Man City's performance was a bit disappointing. It seemed like they didn't really want to score a second goal after getting the first one. I think they're missing some spark and identity because Kevin De Bruyne is not playing.
The race for the title is going to be close. Now, it's up to Arsenal. If they win their next match, they'll be back at the top of the table. The ball is in Arsenal's court now.

The game against Man City today was quite engaging. at least Liverpool and Chelsea really don't well since they don fellow Man City play draw, the way them take this premier league like say na their papa get the it, they think say their only one that know how to play, what ever they're claimed wil be surly come to the end since we observed that their power as begin reduce down. If know Liverpool lose many of their opportunity they could have win against Manchester city.

I was surprised with Chelsea's performance today i was expecting something better from them against Newcastle but it was a disappointment as usual, watching how they play against Manchester City everybody's spirit was high just watching the way they play, now this Chelsea fans left in disgust and are disappointed. A. Gordon was really active in this game and gave Newcastle a well played game he gave one assist one goal. Of it you talking about the man down Newcastle has already scored 3 goals already so the one down was around 73 minutes.  And maybe they under estimated  Newcastle they have forgotten you don't joke with Newcastle and Newcastle always make it to top 5 so them winning is not surprising after all. That is football strategy might fail and might be used against you by the opponent.

Chelsea’s performance is not predictable anymore, it seems that they are going back to their initial ways of inconsistency in their performance because I see no reason why they should lose this match today after playing well against Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham this season with the same squad they use to play Newcastle United that suffered some defeat in the previous weeks due to injury and fatigue.

Even though Newcastle United’s main striker Isak is back from injury, they still have couple of players that are out due to injury which means they yet to fully recover from injury problems, then why will they defeat Chelsea?

Now it is now four games in a raw that Chelsea plays against Newcastle without winning, I hope Chelsea will work on their performance soon because they cannot qualify to the Champions League through top four in the Premier League this season with such performance.


Arsenal on the other hand played a goalless draw in the first if their match away from home against Brentford, Arsenal is dominating the match as expected, but Brentford is very focused and also willing to get some points in the match.

Arsenal really need the match because if they win they will be one point ahead of Manchester City at the top of the Premeir League table, therefore, I am also expecting them to win the match in the second half.

@Hyphen(-) I too wasn’t surprised because at this stage Newcastle is a far superior side than Chelsea and Poch has lots of work to do to improve this Chelsea side and signs are there that they’re improving but results will take some more time. However I have a feeling that Todd may get tempted to sack him but I hope he doesn’t do it because there’s no good coach available hence I hope that Poch gets some more time.

The pressure on Chelsea is once more heavier for them to bear. I was at the onset thinking the absence of some key Newcastle players due to injury would make them the prey, but this isn't the case and R.Sterlin has had more responsible from his first equaling goal till now.
Newcastle is sure one of the best teams so far and they are showing why they should be one of the top teams in English football.

The match was balanced in the first half because both teams maintained their tempo well. The first half ended 1-1, but the second half was a disaster for Chelsea where they had to accept conceding 3 additional goals from Newcastle. Regarding this match, Chelsea once again failed to maintain their consistency in getting points in every match, even if they held Manchester City to a draw and beat Tottenham in the previous match.

There wasn't much Pochettino could do for Chelsea in this match because in the end all his plans failed. Newcastle dominated and played well at home, the 4-1 scoreline is something that will motivate them to face PSG in the Champions League in the next few days.

Chelsea's crushing defeat tonight was really surprising how the Blues, who in the previous match were not able to perform well against two tough teams, had to suffer tonight with a fairly large score. I don't understand what happened to Pochettino's squad in the second half, they let the hosts party and the Blues players played aimlessly.

While Newcastle was able to perform brilliantly in front of their own supporters, the additional three points are very good for them to look at the opportunity to get to the top of the ladder. Yes, apart from that, this victory is also good capital to compete in the Champions League.

Despite a fierce battle, Chelsea suffered a significant loss, and I still can't guarantee they'll compete in the top 5 this season. I thought Nkuku would play in this match, but that wasn't the case. James receiving a red card only adds to Pochettino's headaches for the next game's lineup.

What happened after playing a draw against Arsenal is repeating itself now. Chelsea played against Brentford and lost to them after playing well against Arsenal. A similar thing happened today, they played a draw against Manchester City, and they were applauded for their nice performance. Everyone was expecting them to perform well today, but they ended up performing poorly today. Seriously, I don't really know what to say about Chelsea's.

Arsenal was vital to get this win and not because I have them in almost all my night parlays which hopefully I will hit a couple of them  but it was also vital for them to get in the lead,it was a golden opportunity that needed not to be lost.They did get it but I assume they made so many people scared to death when we saw 85th minute and the result was still 0-0,at that time I am honest I had lost all my hopes for an Arsenal win.This win puts things like they should regarding the surprise results being only Luton Town to have won against Crystal Palace while most of the other games have come as predicted.

Manchester City and Liverpool has been the biggest rivals in the English Premier League for the past six years as the two teams has dominated the league since the since Chelsea last won it in 2017. I expected their match today to be a very strong one abd wasn't even disappointed as the two top English sides showed great fighting spirit. Before the match, I've predicted that the two teams were gonna find the net but I thought they were gonna score more than just one goals apiece. In the end, it was a very great game to watch.
After Manchester City played out a draw against Liverpool, Arsenal knew they needed a win to climb the top of the league and they had to fight till the closing minutes of the game to secure all three points thanks to Kai Havertz 89th minute goal. It's was a nervy game for gunners fans as they had to wait till the dying minutes before they saw the winning goal.

By the look of things, Arsenal came prepared and I can see the effort they put in the first half, Brentford on the other hand are also trying their best but not enough. The shots on goal made by both teams were almost the same, i admit that Brentford's defense was very strong, with a 5-3-2 formation, it was clear that Brentford actually wanted to hold Arsenal to a draw, they didn't want to win because they knew that Arsenal was very difficult to beat, Luckily in the 89th minute, with an assist from Saka, Havertz managed to score the winning goal for Arsenal, Arsenal were back at the top of the standings and only 1 point behind Man City, the competition at the top of the standings was very tight.

I can't believe that Chelsea lost to Newcastle with a score of 4- 1 after giving them much hype to win based on their previous performance against Manchester City that they have picked their form to be winning matches. I was shocked with the result, I never imagined it to happen.

On the other hand, I think Newcastle would feel more alive with their win against Chelsea after losing their last two league matches(Champions League and Premier League). Now, Newcastle's next match will be a Champions League match against PSG, it will be an away match for them. The question will now be, will they survive it? To win against PSG in their home? That's the puzzle we can't solve until the end of 90mins of play

The surprise Newcastle always try to take most times on big teams recently is surprising, i knew the return of isak to the Newcastle team will give them a facelift. But Newcastle winning Chelsea 4-1 was something I didn't envisage from the beginning of the game.
It was as if the Chelsea midfield and defence where demystified, because they couldn't hold on tight on the frontliners of Newcastle United.

I was not expecting this match to end like this even though Chelsea was going to lose to Newcastle United. The return of Isak was really a huge one for them because he came and strengthened the attack more for them and scored the opening goal of the game.
Chelsea are still yet to continue their good form, they switch form after every match and this will really affect them a lot going forward. They are in the time of the season that they have to pick up now and gather plenty points that will give them a good position in the standings.

Brentford coach, Thomas Frank is dissapointed with his team's performance after defeats against Gunners. Mikel Arteta and his men are ontop of the EPL table, good news for the club and these players deserved accolades. The Bees got defeated at home after applying a tremendous defensive style. The match has actually ended the way I predicted, although Brighton performance was actually impressive especially there defense that was given Arsenal tough time to break and at last they manages to break it and win Brighton 1-0.

Manchester City has really messed up on there match today's against Liverpool, there inability to win Liverpool has cost them there position on the premier League table by dropping down to second position. However Arteta plans are really come to play because for Arsenal to have entered the first position on the premier League they will try all possible best in other not lose any matches because they wouldn't like to repeat there last season mistake that cost them the premier league trophy.
