That's absolutely true because of the outstanding match left for Manchester city to play. I doubt Chelsea FC would even be able to hold them tonight to a draw because with De Bruyne back and the midfield in complete lock, the Chelsea attackers would have to rely on mostly set pieces and quick counter if they are to secure any goal.

Chelsea FC will only try their best but I'm not sure they will be able to win Manchester city this time they may be able to try to get a goal but then I doubt that a draw or winning Manchester city will be possible because Manchester city is going all in on this game and are not going to let any chances get pass them.

Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal all won their game and the pressure of getting all 3pt in today's fixture was achieved and they are now looking at Man City who are hosting the Blues who haven't been stable in terms of winning.

I can't say Pep Guardiola is been pressured but the players are, to me, because the instructions are given to the players and with the way Chelsea will handle this game I feel we're going to see Manchester City players play something different from what we do know them for and this can only happen if Chelsea's midfield is solid then I can say that the Blues are good to go.

Manchester city losing that game will be very difficult seeing that both Liverpool and arsenal have already won theirs, Manchester wouldn't want to lose out on the title race and one thing about this Manchester city team that am very confident about is their ability to cope with the pressure of the teams that fight it out to become champions. They have proven and done this times and times without number and by this I meaning fighting for the league eventually emerging champions despite the odds against them.

Manchester United will travel to Luton headquarters this week, Manchester United is in a pretty good condition after the previous 3 matches they can win which will be an asset in this match. Luton itself is not a very strong club, they are still in an unsafe zone, yes they are still 1 level from the relegation zone. Manchester United should not have any difficulties in this match considering their opponents who do not have such a good performance. But the problem is that Manchetser United often cannot be predicted at all, sometimes they perform well, sometimes they are ordinary and sometimes they cannot be expected at all.
Erik Ten Hag must prepare this match as well as possible, because it would be a shame if they could not win against a club that was not better than them and even at a bad level of play.

According to United current form, they are supposed to win the match on paper because they won their last three Premier League matches and they will be now be willing to get more points so as to make it to Champions League through top four.

Yes, is as if Chelsea had a different spirit today against Manchester City, maybe it's because it's a big game so they need to prove themselves, However Chelsea have been  able to destabilize Manchester City attacking Force this evening at least for these first half. The goal would have been more than one goal for this first half if not for the chances Chelsea missed. One thing I notice about Manchester City is that, once they are under pressure they find it difficult to compose themselves and do all those their magic that they normally do. I quite agree and I feel they will really mount more pressure on Man City if they can be able to maintain this pace. First time in a while I'm seeing them take the game to the citizens and aren't being intimidated that it's at the Etihad. Coupled with the fact that Liverpool and Arsenal and even Aston Villa won their games, it's making Man City desperate for a goal and I'm sure they'd bounce back in the second half, my hope is that Chelsea don't give them that opportunity.
If they lose this one, they still have two outstanding games and that will give them hope to at least get close to Liverpool, thats if the latter lose two of their games which can be highly unlikely because even Liverpool knows how much competition they are in and would not want to slip. Can Chelsea push the defense of Man City and get another goal or can they hold on to this one?

The game is becoming more interesting than I imagined and I quite agree with you that City really want to win this game to be in the title race but with the way things are going I'd want Chelsea to keep the pressure coming. City can absorb pressure but I don't feel this is the kind of pressure they're ready to face.
This is a different season and I know the way Liverpool Arsenal even Aston Villa (lemme not mention Tottenham) will play against the Citizens when they meet I believe it will be more difficult than this game but as it is I would like the poor performed Chelsea to continue the way they're playing now and who knows if this gane end in their favor the Blues will start winning games till the end of the season, I hope so.

You cannot go into conclusion that Chelsea will win the match, because we still have the second half which is big enough for Manchester city to equalize the game or if possible have a welcome back in the second half.

The first half in the last English Premier League game of the day between Manchester City and Chelsea at the Etihad stadium is over and surprisingly, Pep Guardiola's Manchester City are trailing to Chelsea by a goal to nil in front of their own fans.
Considering the performance of Chelsea so far in the game, it seems Mauricio Pochentino has gone back to the drawing board. I don't understand how Manchester city ended the first half of the game without a goal and Chelsea was able to win the first half of the game and it was now looking to me like Manchester city is not playing their best enough and may want the event of the first lewg repeating itself again and if does happen it's not going to bwa good record for them.

In the second half of the game I'm hoping to see a better performance from Manchester city alongside goals to get ahead of Chelsea because I see Manchester city to have a better team than Chelsea and even in a better form in this game than Chelsea is , I'm very optimistic that Manchester city will get an equalizer andget ahead of Chelsea in this game I'm not expecting anything less than a victory from Manchester city in this game so they will further keep the chase behind Liverpool if they are hoping to win t eh trophy this season.

If you have gotten and or know the results that occur at half time, then I'm sure it looks like you will laugh or just smile . Because after all, eventhough Manchester City had very good goal attempts compared to Chelsea but ya, the fact is Chelsea managed to win at half time with a score of 0-1. Amazingly, the scorer for Chelsea in this first half was a former Manchester City player and that player was Sterling. Obviously, with this 0-1 lead then I believe Chelsea will maintain this lead and if that happens, then Chelsea will play full defense in the second half.

But yes, even though Bruyne and Haaland played in the starting lineup but ya, it still seems not easy for Manchester City to make a goal in the first half . But ya,there is still a second half and of course Manchester City will play even more optimally to be able to turn things around, although it is not easy at all.

Taking the lead is a plus right now, they should make sure they utilize it very well and hood down the goal during the second half of the game.
Good to see how they've also stepped up them game and closed down how they have held Manchester City players man to man. That shouldn't have been no penalty in anyway, the ball wasn't heading to Erling Haaland.

Chelsea has high fighting power against top teams, I was surprised by that. Man City actually controlled the statistics, but unfortunately nothing could be converted into a goal in the first half.
