The result Man City vs Chelsea draw was well utilized by Arsenal. Currently they are able to be number two in the temporary rankings. Arsenal beat Burnley 5-0 and I saw Bukayo Saka perform very well. He managed to make 2 goals and became Man of the Match. Even if you look at the statistics in 2024, Bukayo Saka has played 5 times with 6 goals scored. Although it's not the end, at least ARsenal has proven again that they are one of the potential EPL champions.

Now, if Manchester City manages to win the postponed match against Brentford then the points gap between the top 3 teams will only be 1 each. Liverpool still leads 1 point ahead of Manchester City, as well as Manchester City and Arsenal. The pressure between the teams is increasing, it will be a very interesting season.

Manchester United was fortunate to grab significant points from Luton Town. They came for the winning points and they successfully achieved their target, though it comes with hefty hardwork and defensive strategies from the players and Erik Ten Hag. Manchester United players did make actual errors but with defensive backup, they redeemed themselves and points out victory. They kove an ede on the EPL table and they now aim for the top four this season. Rasmus Højlund is the man of the match because he netted a brace in the early minutes of the game.

Yep Manutd defend well in the 2nd half, but if the opponent is other big teams - Im not sure Manutd able to hold like that.
But still, its a sign of progress and Manutd is far more better than last year. The incoming of Sir Jim Ratcliffe" really bring positive energy for Manutd.

Manchester United where not too impressive that first half, just that the goal they scored gave them some edge. Luton town played very well but just that they had hardluck. I was even surprised to see rose Barkley playing for Luton town, he is one of the good player that has been around the premier League for quite some time, he was more like the few experience player they had.
Radford and Bruno Fernandez wasted a lot of chance too for Manchester United, however I was impressed with Luton town performance because they were the underdog anf they played impressively no matter that they lost the match.

Chelsea showed a different performance in the match versus Manchester City yesterday, Pochettino squad managed to play effectively even though they didn't dominate possession of the ball. Rahem Sterling even managed to put Chelsea ahead in the first half, and luckily Rodri managed to equalize at the end of the second half. This draw meant that Manchester City failed to take over the top of the standings from Liverpool, although they were later able to finish the postponed match versus Brentford by securing full points.

There were many opportunities that failed to be converted into goals, and indeed the match was very entertaining for fans because it was played with high intensity and attacks were traded. Arsenal has now moved up to second place temporarily, and Liverpool is the lucky club because it is still leading the standings. On the other hand, even though Jurgen Klopp squad is at the top, they are not completely safe, because their point difference with rival clubs is very thin.

Many opportunities were wasted and Manchester United won quite convincingly at home to Luton today. Seeing Manchester United so consistent is very pleasing and they have succeeded in getting this team back on the right path. Luton could have equalized but unfortunately they could only reply with one goal. Hojlund again showed his quality by scoring 2 goals for the Red Devils to win.

But at least, I think it is also possible that the opponents faced by Manchester United lately are teams that have decreased in performance and therefore, Manchester United managed to get a winning streak at this moment. But indeed, regarding the wins that Manchester United have gotten lately at least Hojlund has always managed to score goals and make a good contribution to the team of course. With these factors then yes, at least I also consider that Manchester United managed to recover at this moment and with this good recovery, currently Manchester United only have a 3-point gap with Tottenham who are in fifth position. With a gap that becomes close like this then yes, of course, reopening the chance for Manchester United to be able to enter the top five, maybe it can still happen.

In as much as some of the critics who criticized Erik ten Hag during the time Manchester United were underperforming were too harsh with their criticisms, we mustn't shy away from the fact that it's absolutely normal to criticize managers whenever their teams aren't living up to expectations. I'm not a Manchester United fan but I was among those who constructively criticized their manager during their very poor start to the season especially after the club failed to progress to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League and was still not able to qualify to play in the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League competition because they finished in the bottom of the group.
Now that Manchester United have been performing well, I also think it's good to give him all the accolades he deserves for improving the performance and form of the club.

Thats truth. City has one outstanding game this week with Brentford. It should be a must win if not Liverpool will still be on the lead in the EPL table. No chances should be giving to Brentford if not it will be difficult for Manchester City to equalise. This is because Brentford technically has a strong defensive spirit. If they eventually take on the lead in any game they end up winning the game.

Its not like i want City to top the league, honestly i want Liverpool or Arsenal to be the first place. City has done enough what more do they want. Pep should relax and let other team progress in the EPL. It is not for one club alone, other club should taste the sweetness in lifting the EPL cup up in the sky.

Chelsea needs better strikers, pochettino should just stop using Jackson, the guy is just a waste of money, jackson had some pretty opportunities yesterday, but he wasted all, Chelsea played well against Manchester City, the only problem that I noticed in the match was that Chelsea couldn’t score many goals, and Pochettino made some mistakes in the substitutions he made in the match. Pochettino should have left Palmer and Sterling till the end of the match, those two players are players that Chelsea has confidence in.

Sometimes, a team inability to perform well isn't because of the coach but rather they may be having a bad time because there are times in football when a team puts in their best in other to get a good result but yet it looks as though there best isn't enough so i believe that was what Manchester United was going through during the beginning of the league, they tried their possible best but yet couldn't achieve any tangible results but looking at Manchester united performance currently, you can agree with me that there are lots of changes in their pattern of play now although the match they played against Luton today, Luton performed more better than them but it was just unfortunate that they were unable to equalize and level the scores because Luton really played better and had some good opportunities but yet they missed it.

Chelsea and Manchester United have been doing very well of a recent as Chelsea drew Manchester city at Etihad stadium yesterday and today Manchester United won Luton so the both clubs have been up and doing so if they should continue then definitely they would have something to hold on to before the end of the season.

But indeed what @Marykeller said in this case is also true because even though their ball control was poor in the match against Manchester City some time ago but when talking about opportunities and utilization of counterattacks by Chelsea in this match it was actually a very good thing and there were indeed some pretty good opportunities that they managed to get despite their minimal possession because of the difficulty of getting out of the rhythm that Manchester City did in this match.
The defense line, especially for the right side of Manchester City, was easy to penetrate in this match and it led to some good opportunities such as 2 chances from Jackson and 1 from Chilwell, it's just that Jackson's finishing was not very good, making Chelsea keep the spotlight to be able to lock in the victory.

Jackson's 2 chances could not be utilized properly even though he was face to face with Ederson but Jackson was unable to convert it into a goal actually I think it's quite unfortunate.

Facing Burnley is actually nothing to worry about Arsenal in today's match because they must be aware that their chances are very large and when the match starts, we must realize where the difference is in today's match.

With this result Arsenal overtook Manchester City back in the standings but Manchester City certainly know their 1 game remaining advantage is still key in this case so Arsenal still can't stand in second place comfortably.

Let's not forget that the English Premier League is one of the best and the most difficult league to predict as no team is regarded as a small team regardless of the position or the performance of the team in the league, Liverpool may be chasing the league title and they will make sure they win most of their matches since they want to remain as league leaders in the table but they shouldn't I underestimate their opponents even though they have a better chance of winning the game, once they are able to put up a good performance and utilise their chances to school goals they are the favourites to win the game.

This is not about how hard the Premier league is, they should be sitting close to Liverpool right now so that their outstanding match will put them ahead of Liverpool but it's all now in vain, even if they win the next match to make it 25 round as other teams has played, they will sit below Liverpool because Manchester will be behind with 1 point. The real battle is going to begin from there, whoever lose their next match will definitely be lagging behind.

Yes, Chelsea has a smaller chance to score. Chelsea only has 9 shots, meanwhile Man City has 31 shots. The number of shot attempts is too different, Man City is absolutely very dominating the match. Man City which has the bigger opportunity to score and win the match. Unfortunately, Chelsea only succeed to score 1 goal.

Indeed, the draw won't bring big impact on the position of Chelsea in the table. But the draw may bring positive impacts on the players' mentality. They can be more confident because they could steal points from the strongest team in EPL (Man City). I hope Chelsea players will have a new spirit to play better for the next matches.

Did you forget that Luton town is a very good team at home? They understand their stadium pass everybody in the Premier League, because of how small their stadium was, they use to be very hard to score and they usually have strength whenever they are playing at home. Manchester United was very fortunate to have the early goal on the match, they did the right thing because if they intended to rush the game, they might lose the match because Luton Town is a team that is very good at home, but most time when the pressure is much, their defense do give up on time which is why United was lucky to get the free points.

Surprisingly, Chelsea was able to take the lead against Manchester City until the 77th minute. Raheem Sterling's goal in the 42nd minute still stood with 15 minutes remaining in the game. This was a result that was beyond predictions. Chelsea were able to take the lead while Manchester City, who were the favorites, were able to win easily.
Even though they were able to control the game and excel in possession of the ball, Manchester City still had difficulty scoring goals with 10 minutes remaining in the match, it would be very interesting if the score remained and Chelsea was able to beat Man City, the primary league battle would become even more interesting.

Sincerely I was hoping Chelsea would retain all three points and leave nothing to Manchester city because if Manchester city had the chance to win and also win their outstanding match, am very sure no other team in the EPL would overtake them to the title, making it a back to back win for them and a chance of returning to the UCL ahead of Girona which is their sister club in the Spanish league with same owner.

For Manchester City, it was not hard to beat Chelsea and I was expecting them to win this game easily. Manchester City has much better players and coaches than Chelsea and Chelsea was not having good performance during this season.

I think the main reason for this is that they are way more focused to win UCL back 2 back than winning or risking an injury in a derby game vs Chelsea so I can understand a draw might not be a great result regarding title fight because in this moment it looks like we will have Liverpool and Arsenal fighting this year for EPL and City most likely will win UCL once again. If that happens , I think Pep might think to try a new club next year...or so I assume.
