Basically, Manchester City dominated this match from the first half, but they always failed with a number of good opportunities. Brentford's defense was a big problem for Manchester City's attackers, then their lack of good finishing was also the reason why this match didn't have more goals. Haaland and Alvarez contributed to this important win, both being involved for Manchester City's only winning goal.

Recently, Man City has not been very optimal in optimizing the chances they have. In fact, it was a lot of chances, continuous attacks were launched against the opposing team. Yes, it was a very unexpected condition for such an excellent player to get injured. If he had not been injured at that time, then he would certainly have been much more productive. But that's all in the past and this time, he is really focused again on how to be more contributive in attacking and scoring goals. Even though there are indeed some opportunities where he is quite wasting, they may not be as effective as before. But at least, Haaland is still the top scorer that Man City relies on this season. Even me I didn't for once think that Luton will be able to score Liverpool the first goal let alone holding the goal till the end of first half but however Liverpool is very lucky to have realized themselves on the second half of the match and by equalizing the goal on the 56 minutes of the second half and was able to still score another goal on the 58 minutes, perhaps that means it took only three minutes for Liverpool to score two goals, although Luton performance on this second half is nothing like there performance on the first half because they were very consistent on the first half but this second half is totally not encouraging for them at all and if they continue with there poor performance Liverpool is going to score more goals.

Because if I think about it, Brentford are also not that strong in their defense, so there is something wrong and less sharp in Man City's attack line at the moment. Indeed, when we look at Man City's strikers and forwards, there is no doubt that they are top players.  They had what it takes to win the game today even though it's a much needed win for a confidence booster ahead of Chelsea's encounter over the weekend. It's really impressive that even with their past defaults in games, they were able to bounce back to win tonight. For Luton town, twas very much certain that after the first goal, they were enthusiastic about the game and the eagerness to win came alive more. It'd have been more beautiful for them to maintain that lead as it's much needed to get them outta the relegation zone.

 The team is behind the league table and so they need to gain more victory points to stay in shape this season till the end. This side are very competitive in their games and they really shouldn't be underrated as they're capable of anything that's fit to turn the game around. Well Anfield is the home ground of Liverpool and today's game wasn't supposed to be traded with. Liverpool currently deserve the victory from the day's game today and maybe they'll do same when they meet Chelsea later. There is a slightly different situation from Manchester City's attack pattern but in my opinion apart from them currently losing a little momentum especially with the current declining goal productivity making the situation sometimes unexpected for Manchester City.

From the attack patterns and game schemes carried out to date there is actually no problem for them, it's just that the opposing club knows that they have to survive and secure a point in a match when facing Manchester City because after all if they don't force to do that and aim for 3 points then surely it is a difficult thing. Therefore, we can only see the strength of Manchester City in terms of the quality of attack and possession of the ball but their Strikers are covered by their movements, Manchester City will experience a deadlock just like in the last few matches where when Haaland was tightly guarded they could not do much because Manchester City's fulcrum (Haaland) was limited in movement.

Luton Town are not one soft or chicken side to play. They're good at whatever they do mostly when launching direct attacks on clubs.  Mind you, this same Luton Town was responsible for sharing points with Liverpool  during the first half of the season. Ross Barkley the former Chelsea midfielder has been a good lad fottjrm this season. Yet again it was another game to see them leaving top bottom but they still lost. It feels like they'd be relegated too.

Mac Alister also has done well today with double assist. His movements to Liverpool has not been well during the early stages but he has gradually fitted himself into the squad.
I see Jurgen Klopp Preparing the squad before he finally leaves at the end of the season.
