I'm not surprised that Manchester United is still finding it hard to compete in the Premier League again this season. I know it is too early to judge Erik Ten Hag, but I think he is not good enough to continue as Manchester United's head coach, even though he won two trophies in his first two seasons at Manchester United. I think the Manchester United board have patience with Erik Ten Hag. Well, I like the fact that they are being very patient with him but I hope it doesn't affect the club on the long run, I'm not insisting that they should sack him but they should be sure that they're making the right decision if the team still keep having bad record up till the middle of the season and the board still decide to retain him by January, I just hope they're not at the bottom of the table by then cause the Manchester United I watched against Brighton and Liverpool are still not free from the errors that comes with the previous season. Well like you said it's still too early so I won't speak too much negativity about Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United but the best thing the coach has to do is looking for the perfect strategy that would suit his team and benching the necessary players that are killing their game plan cause it's obvious that most of those players are really planning on getting the coach sacked, players like Rashford, Casimiro, and even the goalkeeper Onana is not left out cause he makes some unnecessary errors too.

Mehn why is it always the coach that is the problem? If a player makes terrible mistakes, it's always the coach to be blamed for losing the match. How do Manchester United fans feel today? I think they are still sad.

The endless defeats against Liverpool feel much more painful and it must be repeated every season. Thinking that Manchester United can win is a mistake and they keep making mistakes that make them look very bad. One incident that made me dejavu was the ridiculous defense against Brighton happened again against Liverpool and we could see Szoboslai and Luiz Diaz so free before he finally scored a goal with a header.

On the other hand, we can see that Arne Slot is much better than Erik ten hag especially in his first season handling Liverpool he did not make major player changes and still used the same squad as in the Jurgen Klopp era. At the euros 2023 I could see manio doing so well but back now in Manchester United he's just liked to a floppy which shouldn't be at all.

Finally I see someone who shares my viewpoint right about overhauling this Manchester united team, although i opted for a gradual but quick overhauling. Before the summer transfer I remember emphasizing in few of my comments about a systematic overhauling of Manchester united squad due to how many of the players in the club who are no more in their best form to produce the needed result for the task ahead on Ten Hag taking the team back to it's glory days. Their continuous stay in the team makes Ten Hag efforts to improving the performance of the team unrealistic and the quicker the management of the club recognize this fact and act on it the better for the success of the club in staying competitive and winning matches.

I agree with you. Chelsea will repeat the same thing this season. And I'm pretty sure that's what will happen. Last season we saw Chelsea win by big margins in several matches. I even remember Chelsea beating teams like Tottenham by a big margin. But even then the team's performance was erratic throughout the season. Except for the last few games of the season, this team probably won't win three games in a row. After watching Chelsea's impressive performance against Wolves this season, our expectations of this team were high. And in the match against Crystal Palace most gamblers bet on Chelsea to win. Osimhen is a striker. And Osimhen has already proved that he is a regular scorer. Osimhen helped Napoli dominate Serie A in the 2022-23 season. I already know that Eric Ten Hang is an average couch and I don't think he's bringing anything good to Manchester united again after staying this long with no improvement. However, what I don't understand is how he's maintaining his ego and arrogance. You'll see other couch feeling remorseful when they're not performing as expected but Ten Hang will always try to bring up a story or history to justify his incompetent. In my opinion, the problem lies with the entire management, starting with the owners and ending with the directors. When you have an incompetent management and owners with no vision for football, then the entire path is open to the team's failure. Note that even though Erik Ten Hag is in a team that has great financial power, he is not managing to win the Premier League, and this season he spent 200 million dollars on signings, the money used to sign "Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee and Manuel Ugarte". In my opinion, they could have signed better players. For example, they could have signed Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyökeres. With that, Manchester United's attack would be very strong, then they could sell other attackers and recover part of the money they spent.

If the coach really has the full support of the board and they believe that everything is fine, then why did they add two more assistant coaches? I'm talking about Ruud van Nistelrooy and Rene Hake. For the Manchester United board, winning the FA Cup or some other cup is a reason to be content and ignore the Premier League. It seems like they don't have any big goals.

Injuries are like chronic big problems in Arsenal. It can come from their internal medical team problems but with cases like Merino, it's purely unlucky situation for Arsenal and it's hard to explain why it came quickly like this.

Merino scored a winning goal for Spain against Germany in Europe 2024 and contributed to his national team trophy but I am very doubtful on ability of this player as well as his chance to succeed in Arsenal and Premier League. This injury makes things worse and he will miss many matches as well as opportunities to train with new team mates. This injury will make his adaptation in Arsenal more difficult and create pressure on his come back after recover process.
