Newcastle were more impressive in the first half of the game than they've been since the start of second half. By the way, in another match Arsenal also won against Tottenham. Honestly this is beyond my expectations because Tottenham were unable to secure a single point even though they as the home team should have known how to overcome Arsenal, unfortunately they did not take advantage of the opportunity. From 4 matches Tottenham only collected 4 points and also the 2nd defeat in a row, overall Tottenham were able to dominate the match but luck was not on their side.

 If the scoreline ends like this of 1-2, this will be the second time in a row for Newcastle and honestly they deserve this three points because they didn't back down despite being a goal down.

It's quite obvious that Newcastle is trying to improve the intensity of their attacks in the second half but, to be able to get that reply, they had to be really patient, and it's good that they don't lose their composure, so that besides being able to turn things around in the 80th minute, they no longer concede goals to their opponents, even though Wolves put pressure several times.

I thought the match would end in a draw but Newcastle really did not want to share points with their opponents, and they really deserved that victory because they really tried their best to get it.

Today's performance of Arsenal explains how well-prepared they are for this season. They make sure they defend their game so as not to lose because many people expected Arsenal to lose against Tottenham especially as we are playing without Declan Rice and Martin Odegard. Still, it ended up a victory for Arsenal even though the game was not easy.

I must commend Arsenal's defense for being able to keep the pressure, and I must also commend David Raya for some couples of great saves made to help his team win this difficult match.

Arsenal's squad depth has been proven today, they can now play without some of their key players and still get good results, this shows that Arsenal is indeed ready for the title challenge. Arsenal has now moved to the second place in the Premier League table, the same points as Newcastle United.

Arsenal's next Premier League match is against Manchester City; the match will be a hard match for both of them, but if Arsenal can win the match, it will prove them worthy of the Premier League title.

He was replaced by the young player Ethan Nwaneri because of some visible difficulties. We have to wait for the medical team to come up with the gravity of the injury. Arteta will hope the injury is now severe because it will be a blow to the team if it is long-term.

Ange Postecoglou might have to reconsider his goal of competing for the EPL title. Tottenham is already eight points below league leaders Manchester City. His side enjoyed massive ball possession but was unable to break the Arsenal defence. The home side also failed to check set pieces which led to a free header by Gabriel Jesus. Today we got to see how important Gabriel Magalhães is to the back four of Arsenal and his partnership with Saliba. They are quite familiar with their strengths. They understand the amount of work they have to put in so they both get the job done. Arsenal had Saka, Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Trossard and yet the winning goal came from Gabriel Magalhães. His header made all the difference for Arsenal in the game. Kudos to Gabriel for keeping Arsenal in the chase against Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur have every means to get an equalizer with the midfielders Arsenal had, Partey and Jorginho are not fast when tracking back and with the absence of Rice I was expecting Spurs to capitalize on that but they didn't. The second half was a bit tough, no Saka with the special skill even Martinelli was absent not until we saw Sterling and Jesus came in, they added a little force with the time remaining and the Arsenal midfield was going down without gaining control of the ball like they did in the first half and the attacking department of Spurs isn't something you use to play against Arsenal, Spurs need to do better than they did today. The Gunners have all 3pt but they need to do better when they did against a team that is completely not fit, that's a narrow win but a win is a win, let's see how Arteta manage his team in the next game against the champions Man City.

Arsenal's performance was not very good, but they got the three points that mattered and are now in second, just behind Manchester City pending their game next week. If Tottenham could not win Arsenal in the condition Arsenal are in, I doubt that they would be able to win them when they have every player fit and ready for selection by their coach. These kinds of games where Arsenal wins are the games where the hopes of the supporters are really kept high in expectation that this is the season.

In my opinion, Arsenal tried. I saw that the combination of players in the game has not been set like that before. It wasn't easy playing Timber in Rice's position and Trossard in Odegard's position. But they all tried to fit in and won the game even if it was a difficult one for the players. However, big thanks to Big Gabby who scored the winning goal and defended his goal with so much energy. Indeed he was the man of the match. Meanwhile, I won't deny that Jorginho and Partey did a very good job in the midfield today. Am very proud of them because the midfield was held mature since the ball was played mostly in the midfield. They played completed 90 minutes even after the workload on them was too much in the game. They have to remain and sometimes go back and forth.

I still see it will be a very difficult road for Arsenal. Their next game is closed and most of the injured players are not ready for any match yet. The last info on Odegard is that the injury is not clear yet and no hope yet. Saka was unable to continue the game and who knows if he will be fit for next match.

Before I typed and dropped this post, Newcastle were still trailing Wolves by a goal to nil but to my surprise, the Magpies equalized and took the lead 6 minutes after i dropped the post. Football is one of the most dramatic sports and that's why it'll always leave is with shocking results like this.
Wolves have been poor this season and must as a matter of urgency improve their performances or risk being relegated at the end of the season.

Wolves were unable to maintain their lead until the end of the match.
In the second half, Newcastle equalized 1-1 in the 75th minute through Fabian Schar's goal five minutes later Newcastle doubled their lead through Harvey Barnes and closed the match.
Honestly, both teams played very well, the statistics are balanced, it's just a shame Wolves couldn't take advantage of playing at home and added to their bad record this season because they have never won at all.
On the other hand, Newcastle has never been defeated this season.

Arsenal were able to secure three points in the game, but seriously, the match wasn’t really easy for them. Tottenham gave them a tough time in the match, but unfortunately they couldn’t score any goals. Seriously am not really satisfied with Arsenal's performance this season yet. I was expecting them to be stronger this season, but it’s just like they're making things easy for Manchester City, Arsenal's performance last season was better than this season, and they were more aggressive last season. Arsenal were just lucky to win the match.

Even before the match started, I was confident in Arsenal and I knew they were going to win the match, they had more chance compare to Hotspur.

The absence of odegaard became obvious when the Gunners had a very weak midfield, they couldn't have possession of the ball for a long time, they had most of the times trying to win the ball but Tottenham was solid with their midfield a d a little of their attack, Arsenal's saving grace rested within their defense because the attempts Tottenham had at their defense was much more than Arsenal had at Tottenham, Rice too would have been of help at some point to Arsenal, I believe if these two were parent, Arsenal would have had even more goals than they did in this game but I was a bit disappointed at Tottenham because I'd not for anything, for the fact they were playing from home, I was looking forward t o them getting a goal as a challenging attempt to exercise their home prowess but they only had the possession,a good play and still lost sadly at home.

I agree with you. We don't see much deterioration in Manchester United's performance now, Manchester fans are very happy to win against the last team in the table. And Manchester United fans were also not sure if Manchester United will win this match. But Manchester United should have won easily in these matches.

Out of 4 matches Manchester United won 2 matches and lost 2 matches. Manchester United faced strong opposition in both matches. The team lost both. Even if they conceded 3 goals against Liverpool, Manchester United could not score a single goal. If this team can stay in the top four of the points table then it will be a big achievement for them.

Increase consistency, increase goal productivity, improve defense and get other creative players who can help build attacks. That's what Manchester United has to do if they want to be in the top four of the standings this season, otherwise, Manchester United can't hope for anything at all.

I'm not sure Ten Hag can do that throughout this season, the team's inconsistency in performance is the reason. They played well in some games, while playing so badly in others. Ten Hag sometimes finds solutions to make his plans go smoothly, but sometimes he is completely silent as if he doesn't know what to do. Impressive? Man, they struggled in midfied honestly, the pairing of Jorginho and  Thomas Partey wasn't formidable as it use to be with the likes of Declan Rice and Thomas Partey. A huge difference was seen today. Seeing that alone sends a clear message that we could be seeing Manchester City winning the Premier League Competition for the fifth time in a row because I don't see any other club capable of winning the Premier League Competition right now if not Manchester City and Arsenal.


I feel like this hard play from Jurim Timber should have seen the official sending him out of the game ( Red Card ) how did he escape that? Also, grabbing the jersey of Vicario was enough to be red card. The officials these days are not doing a good job I'm not gon lie. Opinions on the IMG would be?

Given the points you mentioned, I don't think Ten Hag would be able to do that. Ten Hag also coached Manchester United for the last two seasons. We have never seen better performances from Manchester United. Manchester United's performances in the last two seasons have been very erratic and poor. And this season we are seeing a repeat of the same thing. Manchester United's performance this season is also very erratic.

Manchester United's big win against Southampton is nothing to be happy about. Manchester United will face Crystal Palace and Tottenham in the next two matches. And I have full faith that Manchester United team will not be able to get 6 points in these two matches.

Why should there fans be so happy just because they won against Southampton, they should be ashamed of themselves that their performance have dropped so low, Manchester United which we know to be competing with top clubs before are the one’s winning weak teams and they are happy, seriously that’s really a bad. Their next premier league match will be against crystal palace, let’s see how they are going to perform in the match, crystal palace performance have been so poor, they haven’t been able to win any match this season, let’s see how Manchester United are going to struggle to win them in the match.

We know Southampton is a promoted team that Manchester United should have won easily but the fact that it happened and it was really easy for him, it doesn't matter what matters is that fans are happy Erik Ten Hag will have no more pressure.

Next week with Crystal Palace that team could be a surprise at home, while Manchester United must be wary of the opponent I'm sure if they struggle then this could be another defeat, but we don't know yet how the Red Devils performance is difficult to guess.

Not a great day for you - me either. I didn't bet on the game - just enjoyed it, but I was sorry to see Liverpool struggle to break down Nottingham and they suffered a bitter defeat. The players knew what to do at the time - but luck didn't come until the final whistle. Liverpool's defeat to Nottingham is now history - maybe will remembered fondly by Nottingham fans, of course.

If you can't imagine this then it seems you don't watch football that much because I believe this is something common especially when the team losing are very persistent and are keen on scoring, I have seen cases where teams even come back from three goals down and win the match even when the time of the match is remaining 30mins of play. So I don't blame wolves but they should just hold on tighter and try harder to overcome pressure.
