The only competitions I see Liverpool is favourite in is the EFL cup, that's because they're already in the finals and will play Newcastle and the English Premier League. Those are the two competitions I know that they are favourites. As for the Champions League, I really don't see them as favourites. They still have lots of hard huddles to jump before getting to the finals.

I think Liverpool had to sacrifice the Emirate FA cup so they can concentrate on the premier league as well as the champions league. Technically and statistically I see no way Plymouth Argyle could win Liverpool in the forth round of the FA cup in which the were only able to score via a penalty, I choose to believe the club had to deliberately sacrifice that game after so many failed attempts to equalise so they can prioritize their ambition for the season.

The champions league trophy might look so unrealistic for anyone looking at Liverpool with respect to other clubs in the competition this season. But this same Liverpool were unbeaten until their eighth game in the 8 games stage where they lost narrowly to PSV. We are forgetting Liverpool won Madrid, AC Milan and even won Leverkusen in the first stage. Liverpool  shouldn't be underestimated, tomorrow will be a big day for PSG because those many goals they feel they can score in ligue1 and against Brest we will love to see them make those attempts against Liverpool.

The Emirates FA cup is one of the oldest competitions in the world and I think most teams will pride themselves to winning it than the EFL cup. So I really don't think they only sacrificed it, I think they also underrated their opponent in that game. Remember they where to play a lower division side a d most elite teams usually use reserves to play such games but they have just few big players in the squad. For Liverpool that day, they didn't even, they thought their reserve could do the job but they were in for a shocker. Those 13 points are not final because Arsenal still have 1 game to play (28th match) if Arsenal win that match then they will be only 10 points behind, but yeah statistically Liverpool are hard to catch up they continue to consistently collect 1-3 points and from 28 matches Liverpool only lost one match while Arsenal as the closest competitor was defeated 3 times. According to the schedule Liverpool have 10 games remaining this means Liverpool only need 21 points or 7 wins to secure the title and I'm sure Liverpool will be celebrating before the season ends. As a gambler I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool played badly in 3 games because it is still in the safe zone.

I think the competition in the buttom is even more tense than the top teams contending for title. Liverpool is comfortable at the top as Arsenal are not showing any signs of seriousness to compete for the championship. At the buttom, Southampton seems to have given up already and the only thing keeping them in the premier League is because the league is yet to be over. Ipswich Town and Leicester are level on points with a goal difference separating them. I still believe one of them might turn things around and Wolves is not yet safe from relegation. They are just five points above Ipswich and Leicester, and there next match is against Everton which I doubt them having point despite they'll be playing at home.

I am not entirely sure if the bottom is that much competitive anymore neither. While I agree on Southampton one, but also I am not entirely sure if Wolves would lose their chance to stay, they are normally not that bad and this season they are just exceptionally bad, which is unique, looking back on how they did so far, we had better seasons from them normally.

I get that Leicester and Ipswich could try to do their best, but that doesn't mean that they will stay, 5 points gap in relegation spot is a big one and I am not sure if we are going to get something out of it, we need to consider how to make this a better deal without a doubt, that has to be the most important part. If we can make this work, I think that's the most important part.

Manchester United are losing players and their performance is something we have been talking about since the beginning of this season. UTD strikes haven't been up to speed nothing to show for and they are too slow on the pitch and they haven't gotten up to 5 goals in the EPL. With Amad out due to injury, can Amorim rely on the young star Obi to give him goals that's if he starts as the striker ahead of Hojlund and zirkzee?Because these two guys have never made an account of themselves since they joined the Red Devils. With the little time the player Obi have played I some how see a positivity on the player and his positioning is better than that of the other two strikes, can he be given a chance to be the number 9 of Manchester United?

I was totally aware about how Amorim was forcing himself to putted Obi as a part of line up. Surprisingly, Obi did it well.

On other hand, seeing Manchester United lost Amad looks like seeing a lion lose its tooth. However, they're still fortunate to have Bruno how always carried them with his pass and shoots.

Their season will finish if they miss Amad, then Bruno at the same time. I see nothing positive in the squad except Bruno, and they will never try to sell him.

The 11-point gap with Arsenal is quite a lot for Liverpool in navigating this season until the end because I also don't think Arsenal will be able to catch up with that number of points until the end of the season. And instead of fighting to catch up with Liverpool, the Arsenal team itself must also fight to stay in second place because in fact the position occupied by Arsenal is not completely safe from being chased by other rivals even though Arsenal still has a six-point gap with Nottingham Forest for now.

There are so many reasons explained why Chelsea's underrated at this moment.

- Jackson injury, he has good chemistry with Palmer, and a better partner for Palmer than Nkuku.

- Maresca's pattern, Maresca often did inverted back strategy, which can be read easily by his opponent. He doesn't try to use different strategy.

- Inconsistent defenders, Chelsea's defence is fucking awful today. They have no good defenders who can keep the threat far away from their goal keepers.

Arsenal made Liverpool feel so comfortable in the summit with 11 games left to play for them, there's no way Arsenal will ever catch up this season. They blew their chances of catching up with their draws and few losses. This was a perfect opportunity for Arsenal to excel after the sudden dip in form of the champions. But Liverpool has something else install for them. This season Liverpool is Arsenal's hindrance of not winning the league in my opinion. This would have definitely been Arsenal's season if not for Liverpool.

Liverpool are indeed undoubtedly capable of becoming champions this season, but they do have to maintain their stamina and performance because of the density of matches especially in the UCL, but so far they are still very consistent and continue to provide aggressive attacks whoever their opponents are even though they are in a superior position and the players you mentioned are great players and contribute to Liverpool.

Positions 3 and 4 in the current standings are still unsafe positions for any team that occupies them because they still have a great chance to occupy them and most importantly in the remaining matches they can improve their performance to be able to win all the remaining matches in order to be in position 4 of the standings especially Nottingham Forest, Manchester City, Chelsea and also Newcastle they are candidates to compete for the fourth and third positions as well as the second and first positions because they will survive until the end of the season if they can maintain their positions which I think is certain.

The competition issue this year is really helping Liverpool, I checked a few previous seasons and almost always the 2nd (sometimes 3rd) place in the Premier League after 28 rounds had more than 60 points. Now even if Arsenal win their next game they will only have 57 points. The closest season that was similar to this was 20-21 when after 28 rounds the 2nd place was United (lol) with 54 points.

Considering how things have played out this season in the EPL it is obvious that Liverpool have no contenders and can comfortably go ahead to win the title because teams like Manchester city who were suppose to be front runners and probably put the required pressure on Liverpool have bowed out of the title race and are only now seeking to qualify for the champions league next season, perhaps it would have been Arsenal whom everyone would have been looking up to contend with Liverpool for the title but arsenal seem to be lost in the race thereby giving Liverpool all the advantage needed to clinch the title which makes it more easier for Liverpool this season.

Arsenal did acted like this season was going to be different from what we have seen them do before now, they had series of win amd accumulated points so we'll that it further gave that confidence that it's very likely and true they could do something different this season,  but since after they had their striker injured and a fee other mainstay players,  it began to look as if the Premier League dream was once again dying off and nothing can be done to redeem them especially after they lost to Westham, last season they had Manchester City to contend for the title,  this season it's Liverpool who is leading with a very wide point gap, I don't see them winning this season,  maybe next season.
