These games were boring even before Corona and the audience numbers were already lower than usual. With Corona, such games have completely lost their attractiveness. The only advantage I see is when you bet on those matches. The Nations League creates a lot of unbalanced pairings that can be bet on with simple strategies and with high stakes and low risk (but also low profit).

I hate the international break, it’s utterly pointless. I can accept that there are world cup & euro’s qualifiers. The Nations League is a total waste of time & resources. It should have been cancelled until covid is under control worldwide. Loads of players are getting injured due to too many games & not enough recovery time.

I agree with you in general except for tonight.There is Portugal vs France which I doubt will be a boring game,it is the same as the final of Euro 2016 and that was an awesome game to watch on Tv.I hope this game will be like a cloned game of that one and we finally see some action from the Nations League.

these players have remained in the hotel and isolated. whether the game will take place will be decided during the course of the day
another test of all ukrainian players will take place today at 2 pm

I swear, I so much hate this international break. It really turns out to be a break though, the athletes continue to be stressed.
It's just like a pause from football and it's the more exhausting for top players as they've got to put in all they've got to ensure their individual nation's compensate for quality of players in the team. At times like this, I just keep waiting on time to make haste and reopen the leagues.

Naaaahhhh, there is nothing going to be boring about these fixtures. France is one of the best teams in the world, Portugal isn't a small team either but, we all know Ronaldo stands as a multivation to his team mates as much as he could do some real damage too. It's going to be an interesting game to watch out for.

Nigeria played one of the worst game ever today. It was a tough one though, but the come back was just not expected. After scoring 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th goal simultaneously, they had the favour returned in the same exact dose from Sierra Leone How reckless can a team be to allow this sort of come back, not even replying a single goal. The Nigerian team were just lucky not to have lost as the game ended in a Nigeria 4-4 Sierra Leone draw. Sierra Leone did a good job in not loosing faith after the first half scoreline as they pushed really hard in the second half to have that victory.

Yeah that's really bad, or maybe there's something suspicious? Because the ball possession in the first and second half was still won by Nigeria. But indeed, there were changes in the second half, at least Sierra Leone was more aggressive and could take advantage of opportunities well, as Sierra Leone won the goal attempts and shots on goal in the second half. Sierra Leone has not performed well before and in this match against the leaders of the table, Sierra Leone made a surprise or maybe Nigeria underestimated the opposing team because they had a big lead in the first half.

If the Belgium plays with their best 11 or close to it this is very goods on them. They were better in the first game and England scored a cheap penalty plus lucky deflection. However, during that friendly match few days ago Belgium played without all their stars and they were not even sitting on the bench. If those high profile players aren't available England can turn this around. According to some predicted line ups Belgium should have everybody except Eden Hazard but I am waiting for official line ups before placing the bet.

i personally would cancel all these games now. there is simply too much risk that more and more players get infected with the corona virus .
mo salah from liverpool has now also got a positive test. i think we should only play the national games to minimize the risk

England are in very good form, with many players performing superbly for their club side and that will give Gareth Southgate many options to choose from. Belgium also equally have good players, the match is going to be evenly matched, and tbh, I really can't predict who's going to win the game, but I'll predict either a draw or England wins, I say so cause I feel England just have a slight edge, but nonetheless, it's going to be a really tough game.

This players also play for their club sides, so it's the same risk they are being exposed to, both when on club and national duty, it's just so unfortunate that we still have this virus affecting our football matches, hopefully things will be much better next year, heard vaccines are almost ready.

I think England could win against Belgium. They will be without a few key players for this game: Eden Hazard and goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski have both been sidelined due to positive covid-19 tests. As for the match between Croatia and Sweden, I hear that it will be played if after the last Covid test at least 13 players can play in both teams.
For Croatia, it would be even better to postpone the match because half of the players in defense can't play.
This is a very important match for both teams because the defeat means the continuation of the competition in the second league next season.

I was tuned in to the game, and I stopped watching after the third goal from Alex Iwobi, I believed it was game over and an easy win for Nigeria, I didn't even notice the final score until earlier this morning. What a shit show that would have been, dropping points from a 4 goals lead.

It's not yet clear, if this game will be played at all. Whole Ukraine team and staff were tested this noon and another test will be done this afternoon. Not the best preparation for this match.

But this is madness They try to play this game as scheduled at all costs - a Nations League game ! Normal people would get sent home for 2 weeks after having had contact with infected persons, but here you try to move mountains to let them play a game of football with no meaning.

International "breaks" are worse, I love it when it is euro cup or world cup during the summer because it gives us that much needed summer entertainment, we get to watch the players during the regular season and have fun, and after that they go to their own nations team and play during the summer and we have fun there and it is non-stop year long fun for us and that is amazing.

But, the national games that are between the league games have always been something useless and bad and not entertaining at all and making the regular club games postpone because of it so it is double worse just because of that. This one is even worse, normally I get that nations play for a chance to be at the summer cups during winter qualifications, this is not even like that and something totally different.
