the nations league game between switzerland and ukraine has been cancelled!
the reason is that on monday 8 players of the ukrainian national team already tested positive for covid-19 and today another 4 persons (among them 3 players) tested positive for corona.

Wonder if it will be walkover for Switzerland or same as Romania - Norway  where it was a  possibility that result will be drawed :d (finally it happened that  walkover was decided, but drawing possibility was likely, too)

funny,funny. against germany all were not infected and the latest tests are then positive. that's a joke.in the game against germany only 4 were infected .
and today many more. hopefully not so many german players got infected with the corona vorus
all matches should be cancelled and only the important national matches should take place

Oh @Soonandwaite I have to disagree with you - we have to learn to live with Covid, pandemia can lasts few more years. Hope infections won't be hard for infected players!

Among other today's matches I think  group 3 is relatively easy to predict - France and Portugal should win.

It will  be very interesting - class teams  but all have some kind of problems - I personally see  a little more  chances for Germany.
Other winners IMO Malta, Montenegro, Latvia
  and Liechtenstein. Luxembourg-Azerbaijan possibly a tie

Unbelievable! I can not believe in what I watched. How did Ramos do with his second missed penalty in the match against Switzerland?

Two missed penalties in one game is bad. If I were the coach, at the time of the second penalty I would have appointed the second player from the penalty taker list. Luis Enrique was too brave to appoint him again, although Sergio Ramos' record for penalties is one of the best. Mental is very influential in this matter maybe Luis Enrique needs to rest Ramos if there is another penalty.

Spain - Germany is best game tonight. Spain didn't played well recently, but I wouldn't call Germany as favorites today.
I'm not going to bet much today, because most games looks risky. I'm only going with France and Portugal wins. Sorry Croatian folks, but I don't see Croatia taking even 1 point today.
@adamvp, Latvia win, I don't think so. Their 3 recent games with Andorra ended with goaless draws.

Well, even Swiss football federation agreed to play today, but local laws forced Ukraine to go into quarantine. Interesting what UEFA will decide to do with this game - play it on new date (it's very difficult to find new date on such intensive calendar) or award win to someone.
None of Germans didn't got infected because tests already were made between games.
And I don't think that games should be cancelleded, despite that I'm not a big fan of Nations league. As said above, pandemic may last for year or more, so we should learn to live with it.

What happened with Germans? Not only they are losing 3:0, according to the stats Spain has absolutely demolished them. Watching Croatia of course, we were surprisingly solid in first half but I am expecting problems in second.

It takes time (3 to 7 days to make infection  detactable) so there is no certainity it won't be further  transmission.

I was wrong about Spains - Germany.. it seems to Spain are back on good track (however Germany after Ukraine could have problems with concentration on game.. they received their covid results 4 hours before game start(!)  And today morning it wasn't sure at all they will be able to play)

I would say that there is nothing funny here, because if a player with a virus enters the field, then it is twice hard for him to do his job. Let's hope that not only German players have not become infected, but also Ukrainian players who have not yet become infected will protect themselves from this.
All matches will not be canceled, humanity must learn to live with it. Because this virus may always be with us like many other ailments that are around us every day.

Germany was completely raped. It's their biggest defeat in modern era, if we don't talk about results before World War 2. Now Germans probably feel what Brazil fans experienced in 2014 . Offcourse, it's not worth to compare importance of these games. What an awful performance, they looked like amateur players today.
Croatia for me unexpected had solid game, so a bit sad for their loss.

This is the first time i have seen Germany get humiliated by that goal margin yet they have been so good at doing so to different opponents
