a brief period where we lost some hashrate, it returned within hours.

should be running at 100% now.

Unfortunately we seem to be back in same scenario of nearly all the hashrate coming from one place, so the risk of re-orgs or a massive drop in hash is very high.

where can UNO still be mined reliably? It doesn't seem that zpool has proper support anymore, I can't find any reference to UNO on there. Not sure about multipool.us either...

anyone know?

How can this issue be addressed?

I read the new commits last night, and have successfully built binaries for both Linux and Windows. And of you windows folks need prebuilt wallets (and cli tools) can PM me for the link. If you are a user of Windows 10 and have the Windows Subsystem For Linux, I have a bash script available that auto-builds both the Windows + Linux dependencies and wallets in one go. Wink

The build at first due to a dead link for d/l of the qt binaries. The fallback url at bitcoincore.org also seems not to be working. The simple fix:

In `depends/packages/qt.mk` change line 3 to the following:

Code:
$(package)_download_path=https://download.qt.io/archive/qt/5.2/$($(package)_version)/single/

Feel free to contact me here or in the Unobtanium telegram group if you have questions or need help.

I had not heard anything about new commits so I've got to take a look into this. Hope everyone is doing well. I should join the Telegram chatgroup.
@Shinohai good to see you stop by here.

This hash power is a serious problem and not being listed on a single good exchange any longer is killing Uno back to the .003 sat range.

Bryce either needs to get in here and explain why he's committing and changing subsidy or he needs to comment the code commits a bit to explain why he is doing that and how he maintains consensus. This is a nightmare for the coin, even though of course everyone can hold. It just broke down through .006 range and will continue to bleed out with no exchanges and terrible reorg of blocks with this centralized hashpower.

I've not been paying much attention, honestly. What I do know is, there is not a "valid" exchange trading UNO anymore and there is a nasty reorg problem continually. Is he only moving up the rate of mining, or is he planning on changing subsidy and block rewards and other things? How will we solve concentrated +51% hashing power?

I hate to see that Cryptapus left because nothing was happening.

Hello, Unoverse!

An update is now available from developer Bryce Weiner.  This update improves wallet connectivity and will increase mining rewards in an effort to diversify Unobtanium's network.  Please re-compile your wallets before block 1,040,000 which is in about 5,000 blocks.

Thanks to Shinohai for compiling a signed Windows QT wallet, which is available now on Unobtanium.uno, or via this link:

http://unobtanium.uno/download/Unobtanium.zip

You can compile your own wallet from:

https://github.com/unobtanium-official/Unobtanium

An updated wallet for Electrum is not available at this time.  I would recommend for now that you move your UNO to a QT wallet until that issue is resolved.

I would be very grateful for advice. I downloaded the official wallet from the UNO website.
It gave me a receive address.
So I sent a few UNO from cryptopia to this wallet address.
Unfortunately the wallet always says Not Connected, Disconnected from server.

could anyone advice a newb how to connect this wallet to the server?
Thanks a lot!
