The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Future Trends

1.  Never judge a book by the cover.  Also never judge a coin by the bincointalk ANN, once a coin gains solid standing in the market, then the ANN goes to crap, like comments on popular Youtube vidz.

2.  Notice the market just explode a couple of the trillion count coins to +$$$M [pac & xp]  UNO is the counter opposite to those types, rarity verses abundance, really super rarity verses extreme abundance,  it is just a matter of time before the rare established chains pop up on the charts.

3.  Let's aim to add some improvements to the uno website.   I will donate a shekel or two!

UNO is up 5142% from Jan 1, 2017 to Jan. 1, 2018. And that doesn't even take into account the ATH reached last year. From Jan 1. 2017 to the ATH would have been closer to 20,000% if I could do the math.

Don't be deceived by the activity here. There's lots and lots of UNO talk on Telegram.

I do already delete everything before wallet.dat to replace the node and run unobataniumd -reindex. But the last block is 1046460. I will do it again with your list node but still block 1046460 ... I compiled unobataniumd from github latest version.

From Patrick Raipat on UNO Telegram (https://t.me/unobtaniumuno) :

If anybody has syncing problems after the UNO hard fork, here is why:  if one you had an old client running and syncing above the 1042000 block, block data gets corrupted at Block 1046460.

Symptoms: "no block source available" and stuck at block 1046460 despite 8+ connections to the net and updated qt wallet. Definitive criteria: getpeerstatus returns
"synced_blocks" : 1041999

Fix: start over with a clean datadir and copy wallet.dat into it

Several nodes seem to be in that defective state when I look at my peer list.

If you need nodes, please first try the community sponsored nodes:
Code:
addnode=electrum2.unobtanium.uno
addnode=electrum1.unobtanium.uno
addnode=nigeria2.unobtanium.uno
addnode=nigeria1.unobtanium.uno
addnode=node2.unobtanium.uno
addnode=node1.unbotanium.uno

That nodelist should be the only one you'll need.

I noticed the Electrum wallets on the unobtanium.uno website have not been updated from Version 2.6.2 and are vulnerable to this.

The compiled Windows wallet for Electrum UNO that is on Unobtanium.uno is earlier than the affected code. But, if you compiled from the git, then you have a release that is vulnerable.

A developer in the Unobtanium discussion on Telegram has taken up the challenge and is about 80% done. After that we will need to update several Uno Electrum servers.
It would be wonderful to have UNO Electrum updated by end of month.

I'm sorry to have to disagree with you on this one, but both the Linux and Windows versions on the website return version 2.6.2 from the console. Just downloaded the installer from Unobtanium.uno and get the following:

It is good you have someone working on the updates. In the meantime, keep those wallets password protected and don't use them when you have an open web browser just to be safe.

I put in those nodes but it still goes offline... Once it went online then offline...

Cant seem to get wallet online.

Every time I add "addnode=" lines in the config they get removed when I run the wallet and replaced by a completely different style config file

Uno is a unique low inflation, scarcity of the concept of currency, at least it will not be devalued at once, can avoid big risks, like such coins

Greetings, friends at Unobtanium!

Now that Komodo Platform has a stable GUI available on mainnet for our BarterDEX decentralized exchange, allowing the average user to trade peer-to-peer via atomic swap with 80+ Bitcoin-protocol cryptocurrencies, we aim to expand the reach of our decentralized and open-source solutions and unite the coin communites -

  • ATOMIC Swap trading following Noel Tiernan's protocol
  • Control your own funds, maximizing security and privacy
  • Automatic orderbook matching, trading p2p
  • Integrate and List your coin for free
  • Set up SPV electrum server, allowing users to trade your coin without downloading the entire blockchain
  • Anyone can become a market maker or dedicated liquidity provider, pairing your coin with any other 80+ featured coin and allowing traders around the globe to access your coin
  • Native trade bots can automatically buy low and sell high, allowing low and high volume traders to provide liqudity 24 hours a day

>> BarterDEX protocol (wp/git) >>

The following requirements are necessary for an easy integration:
  • bitcoin protocol
  • CLTV (bip 65) support
  • gettxout and importaddress rpc calls
  • and 8 digits for one coin

What does a non-Bitcoin/zCash-protocl coin need to do to make atomic swaps possible on BarterDEX?

Quote from: jl777B, lead Developer at Komodo Platform
"the code to do all this is quite complicated and I assumed a bitcoin protocol coin, but it is possible to do the atomic swaps even if only 2of2 multisig is supported. So i guess a bitcoin protocol emulator for the subset of rpc calls that I use and at least a 2of2 multisig, but preferably CLTV mechanism to be able to handle both sides of the trade... this would require making changes to the existing barterDEX code, unless the bitcoin protocol emulator is really, really good and it actually works as a bitcoin protocol coin via rpc calls"

Our goal is to  integrate as many cryptocurrencies into our ecosystem as possible, providing end-users with unparalleled privacy and control of their funds! The developers of Komodo Platform would be more than happy to assist with integration into the ecosystem. Please send me a DM if you are interested in joining our decentralized exchange!

Note: according to our tracker, UNO does not have CLTV. Is this still accurate?

Of more than 200 coins in my portfolio, only Unobotium shows green. May I know what is going on here. Anything more interesting?

Have you read the UNO white paper?

First Crypto Commodity aka rare and fair that acts as a store of value.

It preforms in bear markets.  And should be treated like $TET, except $TET likely a scam, UNO is 4.33 years time tested.
