My number one suggestion for the case use of UNO it is the long trend index.
Like
The gold/silver ratio.
The Shiller P/E.
Generational charts.

UNO is attached as a direct pair to BTC BCH BSV LTC ETH DOGE $USD and many more to come.

It is the value storage vault coin of proven performance on the record.

Play the long game.

Unobtanium does not have a CEO.
Unobtanium had a founder, much like bitcoin had somebody create it 11 years ago.
Unobtanium had a founder, create it a then let it unto the wild, nearing 7 years ago.

There are no development plans.
There is no road map.
There is no CEO. President. Chairman.

Because.

Protocol is set.  Code works.

And Unobtanium is what it is;

TOP40 original chains, and still alive after all this time, a rare feat.

TOP50 *mineable* digital assets on CMC.

TOP5 on planet EARTH in hash power.
(Yes more hash than bch or bsv)
((do the homework))

Unobtanium is and was the monolith.

All hands on deck, there is no captain, but she is a great ship.

I think this is a big deal.

(6 years ago) Class of 2013
https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20131229/

Study that field.
UNO was ranked #39 by market cap.
Against its peers it now ranks #1, nearly.

Exclude BTC, LTC, 6 years later UNO has risen to #4 right behind Doge in Mcap ranking.
It has nearly the same 10x return as BTC.
Correct me if I am wrong but that would make UNO second only to BTC in 6 year Mcap performance.

Also of interest.
https://www.stellar.org/developers/guides/concepts/assets.html#trustlines
https://stellar.expert/explorer/public/asset/IXC-GBHAQ252S4Z4AQOM4BWIRC3UHAOJIKCZQBUJGD336YH2O7W2NKRXMHA5

looks like u tried to make a point then faltered lol and what followed then was incoherent mattering which make no sense to me.

Yeah it was ranked #39 6 years ago, then what?

You say, after 6 years it elevated to #4 huh?

Cant follow this logic

Back then UNO was getting attention due to its scarcity hence the name. its now a dead shitcoin, just dont poke it lol

The logic is rather simplistic.  Evaluate then and now.

Use the list of blockchains born before the year 2014 began and are CMC listed.

I provide the link(again):
https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20131229/

That class of pre2014 blockchains are the Unobtanium peers.

Many are still here, and some long since dead and gone.  But there were only 67.  Now there are and have been 100s of 1000s of launches.

Measure Unobtanium in relation to the peers of pre2014.

Compare to CMC rankings today, a full 6 years later, in order of marketcap:  BTC LTC xrpnot a coin DOGE UNO.

Another exercise is to weigh the capital gains by each of the peers of pre2014.

How did Unobtanium preform?

It is no opinion.  The data set is public.

https://www.mataf.net/en/currency/converter-UNO-LTC

https://www.altilly.com/asset/uno  (see market vol. data @ bottom)

UNO is where BTC will be in year 2056.
After that it is (theoretically possible) that AUX mining of UNO and other merged mining coins pay for the hash.

Really Rank 41
after deleting the not-mineable-not-a-coin  placements

Key Point.
The software already works.  The constant need for "development" is a fallacy.
Same argument made by Charlie for LTC is even more fundamental to UNO.
The protocol is fixed.  This is the value proposition.  The goal is to just be a coin.  Moving and storing value.  And we've been doing that.

Today and future forward "Development" comes from integration of UNO and other time tested coins into the various digital platforms, with focus on actual decentralized methods of exchange.  And increasing share in the SHA hash.  Which is the plan in action.

After that is just increasing awareness.  You know - marketing.  That is last.

Clean vanilla explanation of AUXPOW
https://blog.coinmarketcap.com/2019/11/05/merged-mining-bitcoin-rsk-sidechain/
Another https://mining.rsk.co/
https://blog.rsk.co/noticia/a-study-on-profitability-of-bitcoin-merged-mined-blockchains/
Both promoting RSK but germane to the UNO Wink

UNO_chain is paying out $8500/month (quick guess estimate).

From my research, verify it yourself.

RSK and vcash have ninja markets.

NMC and $SYS reward more $$$/month than UNO.

UNO is 4th or 5th in rewards paid out.

iX and DVC are both very esoteric, but provide excellent benchmarks to compare with UNO (age,capital-gains, network-growth)

.... and HUC is not longer existent.  No signs of life.  Unless you dig very very deep.  Cheesy
https://www.huntercoin.info/blockExplorer
https://xaya.io/huntercoin-legacy/
https://autonomousworlds.com/

 Cheesy "legacy" Cheesy

edit:
most projects seem to premine 20-70%
the Premine for HUC was 0.2% iirc (and it was lost)..

Huntercoin was always a precursor for Chronokings - which is now pretty much https://taurion.io
We are being paid to work on Xaya/Taurion and if we are a success we will definitely focus some more resources onto Huntercoin.

MMT

New Words

1.  Oscillators
2.  Degenerators
3. The B

From : Willy Woo
https://youtu.be/mIVd52dGVeE?t=1913

UNO is the long and steady oscillator.

LTC, XMR, Doge are liquid oscillators.

Most of the rest are degenerators.

BTC is the BTC.  And it battles with the $.

I would donate for some solid white papering documentation of this emerging phenomena.
{What are the market proven Oscillators?}

Unobtanium sits among the oldest, most viable, and strongest public blockchain projects in existence. It uses the same strong Sha256d encryption as Bitcoin, but there are important differences.

Uno has 3 minute blocks, which means it is 3 times faster than Bitcoin. Faster blocks add additional capacity, scaleability and security to the network.

Unobtanium is a stand alone proof-of-work blockchain that is merged mined (Auxilliary Proof of Work or AuxPow) with Bitcoin. This means that miners can mine Unobtanium blocks and earn Uno rewards simultaneously as they mine Bitcoin blocks. If miner generates a hash that isn't strong enough to solve a Bitcoin block, it may still be strong enough to solve a UNO block.  Instead of not earning anything, AuxPow lets a miner earn UNO for their effort.  AuxPow improves profitability for Bitcoin miners, while securing UNO with an extremely strong network hash rate.   This approach is efficient. As a result of AuxPow with Bitcoin, UNO achieves a consistently higher hash than BSV and BCH.  Combined!

Unobtanium was launched in 2013, before the proliferation of ICO's.  Uno is a fairly launched blockchain, which means there was no pre-mine.  Every Uno in existence was mined through proof of work. The launch of Unobtanium was pre-announced, giving miners time to setup their equipment and participate in the launch.

After several years of reduced block rewards, Unobtanium has passed through its inflationary phase.  The UNO network now produces a stable .01 Un per block.

Although Unobtanium uses the same encryption algorithm as Bitcoin, one important difference is the low issue of Uno "coins" or "tokens."  Only 250,000 Uno will be produced, making it a rare and collectible issue.

Unobtanium has always been a community supported blockchain. It is not beholden to any single developer, organization or personality.

The strong Unobtanium network is open to anyone who needs to build applications or functionality on the back of a fast, strong and secure blockchain.  If Bitcoin isn't a good fit for your project, then consider building on top of the public Unobtanium blockchain.

The Unobtanium community is forward looking, encouraging saavy traders to begin trading UNO on Bisq or BlockDX DEX exchanges.  BlockDX is pure atomic swap trading, meaning that you don't have to trust your private keys to a 3rd party exchange.  The UNO community has learned its lesson, having dodged exchange disasters many times during its long history. From Coin-ex.pw to Mintpal, from Cryptsy to Cryptopia -- we know how hard it sucks to have your UNO and other precious crypto on a hacked exchange. The only way to keep your UNO safe is to maintain absolute control of your private keys. Therefor, we encourage smart traders to begin gaining experience with decentralized cryptocurrency trading. In the process, you can help liberate UNO from the tyranny of KYC and exchange de-listing threats (I'm talking to you, Bittrex!). Learn to trade UNO on Bisq or BlockDx.

UNO now has an automated build for Gentoo available: https://github.com/unobtanium-official/Unobtanium/blob/master/contrib/gentoo/unobtanium-qt-0.11.5.ebuild

Many more updates have been performed on Github to keep Unobtanium working on newer systems, and hopefully we will have release builds available soon.

Sorry to say it, but I don't think the Prototanium chain is moving any more, like for nearly a year and half.

https://cryptobe.com/chain/Prototanium%20(UNO%20Testnet)

In olden days, I had tried to get it get it moving again but failed.

The difficult of the last block is only 197303, which should be manageable to crack.  But there were checkpoint and other issues, I think that kept it from moving.

Maybe you could work something out with https://crypto-tokens.net/

They are trying to preserve blockchains from 2014 and earlier.  I've been sharing my 'museum' with them in the hopes that maybe some of these can be brought back, eventually.  Maybe they'll take on Prototanium.

If you are interested in getting Prototanium up and running again, come by and have a chat with me on Telegram: @shinohai

Might be possible to get it running again if your buddies can point some hash at it, I'm more than happy to try and fix things on the technical end. Note that https://github.com/unobtanium-official/Unobtanium has changed quite a bit, so as fallingknife said there may be a few checkpoints, etc that need tweaking to get it moving again.

I'm sure they wouldn't mind if I can get a hold of them, they have been fairly busy. If some of the team has a discord, or anybody in that manner please let me know so we can chat there and see if we can get this project back up and running. You can join here if you would like or I can send you a message on here if that's easier.
