@JollyGood considering how Everton played against Tottenham I’m expecting them to win 1 - 0, or 2 - 1 like you have predicted. As a Manchester United fan I feel that they’ll struggle, and hence they should win by 2 - 1, not sure why you feel that they'll be able to score so many goals, because they barely have trained well, and lost their preseason match too. Lastly Arsenal can definitely win by 3 - 0 or 4 - 1 too, because Arteta has transformed themselves to think and play like champions.

What do you think the scores will be?

Everton match was full of promises and lapses, while Everton has their forward line to thank for a good wide margin victory, westbrom has theirselves to blame for their poor defending high lines. Everton defensive flaws are glaring because westbrom cut the back line one a number of times. It's going to be a breathtaking season in the epl.

Leeds front line is equally impressive, and with fulham also coming from a huge loss, it will be closely contested, both teams to score is very much possible while am tipping fulham to go home with a draw or victory

For unknown reasons, several pundits underate and disregard the Manchester united team, the midfield of bruno pogba n matic with martial greenwood and rashford is still fresh, and i see them brushing away crystal palace in a tactical way. Am tipping bruno to score a hatrick of penalties and united should take the underdog ratings to big advantages

A big test for arsenal team against struggling hammers, can they win a physically contested duel? Time will tell

Everton 5-2 West Bromwich Albion

Two consecutive wins for Everton and they sit at the top of the Premier League at the moment. An excellent start for Dominic Calvert-Lewin with a hat-trick today and he scored the winner in the first game of the season to take his tally to 4. West Bromwich Albion look like they will struggle this season as they were beaten 0-3 in their first game and will probably be relegated which is a shame because they just got promoted at the end of last season.

Leeds united 4-3 Fulham

Another fantastic game of football to watch but Leeds United won it. Fulham fought back from 4-1 down but just fell short of making 4-4. Well done to Leeds United.

Manchester United 1-3 Crystal Palace
Arsenal 2-1 West Ham United

Looks like West Ham United might be having a season with a tough relegation battle. Well done to Arsenal who sit joint top of the table alongside Everton and Crystal Palace.

Manchester United were outplayed and outclassed regardless of the saved penalty being re-taken. Congratulations to Crystal Palace on winning and to van de Beek for scoring on his home debut as a substitute.


Everton went well beyond what we had anticipated with their 5 goals today. They are playing with so much freedom and flowing football and rightfully they sit at the top of the Premier League.

Southampton FC - Tottenham

I'm watching this game now and Tottenham scored a goal but it was invalidated and now Southampton would score a goal. this is a game where any mistake that Tottenham make Southampton will win.

Newcastle - Brighton

It is a game that would not bet, I do not know how these two teams are playing this season, but if it was to guess without making any bet I would say that Newcastle can win, but I doubt that in this game they have more than 3 goals

Chelsea - Liverpool FC

I'm a fan of liverpool and I believe that in this game liverpool will win

Leicester City - Burnley

Leicester City will win this game

Southampton 2-5 Tottenham Hotspur
Newcastle United 0-3 Brighton and Hove Albion

Who would have seen Tottenham Hotspur putting 5 goals past Southampton? What a result for Spurs and Kane getting 1 goal and assisting 4 and of course Son Heung-min scored the first 4 goals.

Newcastle United ended up losing a game they should have won on paper but full credit and congratulations to Brighton and Hove Albion for going there and outplaying Newcastle.

I missed other clashes, but i am rooting for a Chelsea victory. Lampard has to match the Liverpool team midfield and exploit their defense line massively for any chance of victory, and to achieve this Thiago Silva has to command the defense line. In a champions manner, i am expecting Liverpool to match Chelsea tenancy, goal for goal, and the best team should nick a win. A draw here.

Leicester are expected to dominate and have a massive victory over Burnley, Vardy with a brace here.

For Chelsea, I guess this might have pretty much been the case. It's also possible that, they were able to hold it down knowing that, the odds was now against them to have been one man down. It's better it ended on a just 2 goals down.

Leicester City come from a goal down to win 4-2. Another excellent game to watch for the neutral, Burnley played very well but sadly missed out on getting even a point.

Odds suggest Mancherster City is favorite but I am not sure how they will bounce back after losing from Lyon, and if I look at h2h wolves won last 3 matches.
They also have Aguero with few other players missing for today game, and midfielder Ilkay Gundogan tested positive on corona test.

Aston Villa v Sheffield United (6pm)
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester City (8.15pm)


I agree with you, I think it will be very tough for Manchester City to grind out a win at Molineux because Wolves are a very good team even after they sold Jota to Liverpool.

It will not be easy for Man City to go there for the first game of the season and win at Wolves but they want to start closing the gap on the teams that already have played 2 games and won both and want to stay within touching distance of Liverpool and Arsenal. I think City will edge it with a win:

Aston Villa start their campaign with their first match this evening against Sheffield United. The blades have already lost their first game of the season and would not want to lose another but I think Villa will win:

Excellent game at Molineux. Wolves played a much better second half, they nearly ended up with a 2-2 result but in the end the game was 1-3. Manchester City look like they mean business this season and they will be desperate to finish ahead of Liverpool.

Well done to Aston Villa, they beat Sheffield United but both sides have so much more to do in improvements other they could face a relegation battle.

Man City's forwards played really well today, Sterling and Jesus specifically. De Bruyne attempted a lot of shoots, had a good chance to score some more goals for them but he missed quite a few of them. But he's good at scoring at penalties it seems.

They still have one more match to play before they can get parity with Liverpool, then they'd both had played two games.
