I think the top 4 is probably settled now. Yes West Ham certainly still have a chance, but their next few matches are more difficult than Chelsea's. Chelsea do have a few more difficult fixtures at the end of the season, but momentum is important and they could be out of sight of West Ham by that point. Having said that, there is still the head-to-head between these two teams in a few weeks' time...

Amazing goal by Erik Lamela with his rabona but unfortunately, Spurs played very scared all game. They have the attacking advantage over Arsenal but they didn't utilize it efficiently. Spurs have had their individual defensive issue from the start. I don't think Mourinho can do anything about it. The players have to step up and not foul in the penalty box(happened a few times already this season).

Arsenal and Manchester United did themselves solid yesterday by winning all 3 points for themselves to keep up with the league which is running at a fast pace. Spurs mist of all didn't get to perform well, the worst they should have gotten out of yesterday's Arsenal fixture with them was a draw but, they couldn't create more chances and the 2 they had, they could only convert one. Worst still, E. Lamela still committed two consecutive fowls to earn a red card. It was a sad one but, they out to try better next time.

Manchester United on the other hand were lucky with the game, after C. Dawson scored an own goal to give Manchester United an edge over the game. As expected they held it down to a 1-0 win against West ham and are now in the second place of the league table.

A must win game for Liverpool to get the hope of champions league alive after several top 5 teams drop/lost points during the weekend. it a huge chance to go 6th on a tie point with Everton who currently occupy the 6th place after their lost to Burnley on Saturday. i hope Klopp is able to overturn this out of form Liverpool side. Wolves are 13 points above the relegation zone, i don't see any pressure on their side.

For Liverpool, winning today is very important, otherwise they risk being left without Eurocups next season. If the fans and the club's management can still forgive the weak play in the Premier League, then it is unacceptable to remain without participation in the European Cups, the Klopp may lose his place in the club. Unless they will manage to win the Champions League, which I doubt.

Sadly the Wolves goalkeeper was injured by their captain Coady while trying to stop a Liverpool attack, he was stretchered off but according to their manager Santos he is conscious so that is a good thing.

Liverpool took all 3 points and move up to 6th place in the EPL table but I think they left it too late to find a top 4 finish so they only way they can qualify for the Champions League is if they win it this season.

It does make you wonder where Liverpool would be this season had van Dijk and Jota not been injured. We all know Liverpool struggled with injuries all season but regulars such as Arnold and Robertson have been below par most of the season in defence while Mane and Firminho have been below par in attack.

Even though Salah has the goals he certainly is not playing great and more like he will leave at the end of the season. Their midfield is not strong either so I think they will finish somewhere between 5th and 7th when the season ends.

Wolves will probably buy a couple of more players at the end of the season then push for a top 8 finish next season.

I hate hearing this Liverpool injury nonsense, Mancity and Aston Villa had the worst injury crises this season and they are still playing like they had nothing, Liverpool had a complete squad since December last year yet people are still giving this Van dyke injury shit, besides before the injury he was shit. Liverpool deserved where they are. Jota was few weeks just like any other players. Jesus, Aguero, Kelvin debrune, Ederson, spent about 3 months on the sideline, came back and went back again so I don't want to hear about Liverpool injuries.

It will be difficult for you to censor what people want to post. If you do not want to read about Liverpool and their injury crises and other people do not want to hear about injury crises concerning Manchester City, Aston Villa, Wolves and others then nobody will be writing about injuries at all.

Furthermore, if people do not want to hear about things such as certain goal scorers or assist providers or midfield quartets or defence line ups but other people do want to post about them - censoring will be impossible. Trying to justify censoring purely because somebody does not want to read about certain subjects in not going to work. You should enjoy the thread and allow people to post what they want without complaining and likewise you should be able to post what want without others wanting to censor you.

However... this is Liverpool. Remember their performances last season? They are not a one-man team. They have a lot of strength in depth, they can put out a reserve 11 that would be able to hold its own in the Premier League.

The loss of van Dijk, and other injuries, can and will certainly affect them... but it's not the main issue. The main issue is that they have completely lost confidence in their own ability as a team. The mental side is vitally important, and Liverpool this season have lost it, whether van Dijk was a trigger or not.

Compare with Villa who lost Grealish - a much smaller team with a single star player. This has affected their results. The same should not be true of Liverpool. With the players they have, they should be perfectly capable, even without van Dijk and others, of maintaining a Champions League spot. It's far more to do with confidence than loss of a player or two.

Loss of confidence, that's the root of it.
The standards that Liverpool and Man City have set are so high, that you only need to have a few bad results to put you out of contention for winning the title.
This is what happened with Liverpool. Players start to have less belief in themselves and in their team-mates. They dwell on things, they start to question things... performances that previously were instinctive and natural are now difficult because they are over-thinking everything and are concerned that passes will go wrong, tackles will be mistimed, shots will be off-target, the goalkeeper won't be able to catch the ball, etc.
Yes, some of the responsibility for fixing this lies with the manager and motivating the team and bringing their belief back. But some of the responsibility lies with the players, too.

Klopp is the new version of Jose Mourinho, they use and drained the top stars in their squad till everyone gets exhausted, and when things get messy they find themselves in a difficult situation. Klopp had a similar season at Dortmund, they were flying high but when things got messy he couldn't get them out of it. This is what we are witnessing now.
