Southampton are top of the EPL for the first time ever (and the first time in the top flight in over 30 years) and Newcastle are looking like a team that might end the season sitting not far off the relegation zone.

It is a surprise to see Southampton at the top,they are overachiving at the moment.It is very unlikely, but maybe they repeat what Leicester did few years ago?About Newcastle,i think they will finishing somewhere in the middle of the table,there are few much worse clubs than them so they wont be in danger to be relegated.

Everton 1-3 Manchester United


Everton look much weaker as a team when Richarlison is missing. I have sympathy for Calvert Lewin because he was not getting any service that was worthy of his skills so he could not penetrate the Manchester United defence but when it mattered Manchester United came back from behind a goal down to win 1-2 away from home.

Cavani scored his first goal set-up by Fernandes when he could have scored his hat-trick. What a display by Fernandes, an excellent player.

Pickford fouled Maguire in the penalty area but was fortunate to escape unnoticed, surely his time with Everton will be coming to an end soon as Ancelotti will be seeking a more reliable goalkeeper.

Crystal Palace 4-1 Leeds United


Palace jump up to 6th place in the EPL table with P8 W4 D1 L3 and with 13 points, they are just 3 points off the top place so well done to Palace. Leeds sometimes get a harsh lesson when they get beaten by huge score lines but they are one of the newly promoted teams to the Premier League and they will find a variety of opponents but it was not their day today.

Lots of goals in Uefa premier league this weekend, it is as though, the rest games are scaling up with Manchester United to have played over 3.5 in their games and as such, Crystal palace 4-1 Leeds United and Chelsea 4-1 Sheffield United. I just feel for Leeds, they had a good start this season but are recently encuring loses and more loses.
Sheffield on the other hand happens to have knocked the door for a goal scoring contest to have had an early 6 minutes goal and now, Chelsea has been rootless with them. There goal difference is so going to be dropping. Lol.

Chelsea come back from a goal down to win 4-1 at home against a struggling Sheffield United team. It seems they overachieved last season with their excellent form and a 9th place finish. They will most probably get relegated this season along with two from another 4-6 six clubs that will be fighting a relegation battle all season long.

West Ham United 1-0 Fulham


The misery for Fulham continues, they had their first win last week but are back to losing ways but they conceded a goal after the 90th minutes with 4 minutes added on. West Ham sit mid-table with 11 points and a P8 W3 D2 L3 record. Fulham are just point above the relegation zone on 4points with a P8 W1 D1 L6 record. They will be struggling and will probably be getting relegated with Sheffield United. Well done to West Ham for another win and pushing for the goal even after the 90 minutes were up.

Chelsea 4-1 Sheffield United


Chelsea come back from a goal down to win 4-1 at home against a struggling Sheffield United team. It seems they overachieved last season with their excellent form and a 9th place finish. Sheffield United who was escorted by Aaron Ramsdale, Chelsea returned to appear quite good in several matches and managed to win three full points, with this victory Chelsea was able to move up to 3rd place in the standings. Frank Lampard's concoction with his new players has begun to appear because at the beginning of the season many observers were doubtful and pessimistic about the composition of Chelsea players, which were mostly young players and new players such as Chiwel, Warner, Silva and Mendy. But they are able to continue the positive trend until now they are able to perch in position 3rd in the standings.

The misery for West Brom continues, they are stuck in the relegation zone on 3 points without a win with a record of P8 W0 D3 L5. As a stark contrast to what is happening with West Brom it is now Tottenham that proudly sit on top of the Premier League table with 17 points and a record of P8 W5 D2 L1. Well done to Spurs for winning and to Kane for scoring a very late in 88th minute.

The season is going to be like no other recent one because it will be wide open and so many teams on current form are capable of winning the Premier League title.

Predictions that are not basic at all and the result is your prediction is totally wrong, for the match between West Bromwich Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur you predict 2-1 for Albion but in fact Tottenham come out as the winner, the possibility of the right prediction in the match between Manchester City vs Liverpool and I am championing. City to get full points against Liverpool, the third match is actually a very impossible result, especially Aston Villa has always received negative results from several previous matches, inversely proportional to Arsenal who are able to appear impressive this season.

He might have scored with a penalty today but when he is on the football pitch he is their main threat and he is absolutely electric for Leicester, they look like a different team when he is in their line-up. Leicester City are the new leaders of the Premier League - congratulations to them.

Very disappointing results and very poor performance for Manchester City. Even though I bet City will easily win when playing against Liverpool, but Pep Guardiola's game patterns are starting to be read in the English league. With this result, Manchester City's position in the standings is getting thrown out of the top flight, they must be satisfied to be in 11th place in the standings. Enough start for Pep Guardiola this season where City have not achieved maximum results even though they have brought in star players at the back.

Arsenal 0-3 Aston Villa


Congratulations to Villa, what a performance. They have an impressive P7 W5 D0 L2 record and have 15 points which takes them to joint 5th place in the Premier League table alongside Chelsea. That volley-cross from Barkley to set up a header for Watkins to score was just sublime. Well done to Villa for a powerful display away from home and to stay within touching distance of the top spot in the league table. They have played 1 game less than the teams above them but if they win that game then they will be joint top of the league alongside Leicester City with 18 points.

Arsenal seemed to have turned the tide when they beat Manchester United last week but maybe they papered over the cracks.

All that talk about whether Aubameyang will stay at Arsenal at the end of last season which resulted in him staying but with a massive pay increase and since then he has not done much apart from score against Manchester United from a penalty kick. According to the BBC sports website (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/54674752): "This was the first time Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has played 90 minutes in a Premier League home game without attempting a shot. He has failed to score in four consecutive league home appearances for the first time since October to December 2014 for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga"

Looking at their form, Arsenal with be nowhere even close to a top 4 finish at the end of the season and will again miss out on a Champions League position.

As we are eagerly waiting for the English Premier League to return after the international break where players are on duty playing for their countries, I am posting the current Premier League table which will remain unchanged until Saturday 21st November 2020 because that is when the EPL action returns.

Until then take a look at the EPL table and you will see with nearly 25% of the games completed, it is great to see that this has not turned in to another two horse race from day one. This season has been fantastic to watch and it will only get better because so many so-called smaller teams around the top 7-8 positions have been playing excellent football and holding their own.

I would agree with you about victories of Aston Villa and ManU, but I would rather go for a Chelsea win, but I did not bet on any of these three matches. I just set a double chance bet for Tottenham against ManCity. Seems to be the best bet according to risk/profit ratio on this match day.

@JollyGood we have a very exciting fixture as it’s Pep vs Mourinho, and considering the hot form of Tottenham I’ll have to agree with your score line. However I feel that Manchester United could either draw the match at 1 - 1 or be beaten 2 - 0, and my reasons for saying this is because their first team player’s are injured, and hence I believe that an draw or a defeat is inevitable for them.
