⚽ English Premier League Season: 2024/2025

The Premier League is indeed the hardest league in the world, and we can see this from the Manchester United vs Shefield match currently being played. Manchester United, who is in great shape, is currently losing 0-1. It is not known whether he will turn the match or not, but no match is easy in the premier league. Although Shefield ranks lower in the league, it is difficult for Manchester United. My candidate for championship in this league is definitely Manchester United.

Manchester has issues with teams that are defending, and they proved that several times this season, this will be just another seems to be, since 1:2 is at the moment
Everton will hardly win over Leicester, hopefully will stay in a draw, but that will be hard as well, since Leicester is much better at the moment

West Ham entered top four, this is just proof who crazy this season is

Brighton and Hove Albion 0-0 Fulham

Everton 1-1 Leicester City

Manchester United 1-2 Sheffield United


Well this was a surprise, not expecting these results 

Burnley fought back to win against Aston Villa. Chelsea did not do much to cause Wolves any damage and the near relegation zone match between Brighton and Fulham as well as top of the table match between Everton and Leicester ended as draws. The surprise was at Manchester United playing so below the level they set themselves and lost 1-2 to bottom of the table Sheffield United.

From the onset I expected Chelsea and Manutd to win, the Chelsea and wolves game was difficult but there were some positive results a 3-4-3 formation is back again at the bridge. Tuchel had just 3 hours with the team before the game and the impact was obvious I think the team broke EPL record of the most passes in a game (843), we saw some tactical approach and hopefully he might start getting results.

Everybody expected Manchester United to win so when they lost to Sheffield United it was a shock to everybody. It was the first game for Tuchel as manager of Chelsea so I think with the very little time he had to prepare it was expected Chelsea were not going to win the game because Wolves are an excellent team that would try to pick holes in the Chelsea defence.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-3 Liverpool


Liverpool stepped up and started playing more like a dangerous team but Tottenham had their moments too. I think Bale could have started the second half but he was brought on as a very late substitute that was unable to make any impact. With Kane off injured it affected the Tottenham attack but that should be no excuse because Liverpool deserved to win the match.

liverpool managed to win weeks later. this win could be the beginning of a streak to be taken on the way to the championship. I expect liverpool to be champion this year.

Epl is not all about expectations

Giid job Liverpool finally get three points again and looks close with first position standing after get failed get three points, I think Liverpool will back to good position again and waiting when get their position on the first standing from Manchester City, I think City become success right now without loss and Manchester United become bad result for several match later. I think Liverpool need to get new player just left few days later transfer window opening because right now they not have any defender after Van Dijk, Joe Matip, Fabinho and Joe Gomez injury.

I think I used to be reasonably accurate with my Premier league predictions, but most of the bets I've made this season have been wrong. I don't know if it's more unpredictable than usual, or I've been unlucky, or I have zero knowledge and insight. I tried venturing into foreign leagues last week and bet on a home win for league leaders Milan... and of course they lost 0-3

The only thing I'm willing to predict this weekend is that Man C will win at home to Sheff U. Just like I predicted a home win for Man U against Sheff U...
Given my recent form, I'm not prepared to put any real money on it.

Everton missed the chance to move up to 5th place in the EPL table, they were beaten by Newcastle United in a shock result thanks to two second half goals from Callum Wilson. Newcastle now sit 9 points clear of the relegation zone.

West Bromwich Albion 2-2 Fulham

Wolves should have walked away with at least a draw but Palace won. Manchester City win just 1-0 against bottom of the table Sheffield United but sit at the top of the EPL table. West Brom are still undergoing a mini-revival under new manager Sam Allardyce and did well to take a point even though they were winning 2-1 at one stage and Fulham are also improving so a draw was fair.

The point gap between city and united is getting wider. Although city lacks a match, he is 3 points ahead of united. If united wants to be champion, it must catch a big streak.

What a boring match, was expecting big things from bot Arsenal and Manchester United but it was not exciting to watch at all. Neither team really managed to take control of the game.

This are the types of game that makes the English premier league interesting to watch; i lost my bet because i wasn't expecting a shocker lol. It was a very coordinated performance by Newcastle; and  a big results (considering they have been on a poor losing spree). Do you think Leeds could shock Leicester tomorrow ?

What a player Jack Grealish is, he drove Villa forward and together they nullified the Southampton threat. Well done Aston Villa.

Really interesting just looking at that table and seeing how quickly things can change, teams can drop below and others take their positions immediately, the points gap is unbelievably tight, Leicester has a chance to claim second position from Manchester United having played one game less and are two points behind them, I think at the end it's still going to be a two horse race between City and Liverpool like we predicted from the beginning, I can't trust United to maintain a sustained form and compete till the end.

Do you think Leeds could shock Leicester tomorrow ?

Leeds are in a bad form, and anything is possible, but imo, it's going to be a routine win for Leicester, they have their eyes set on second position, and a win will take them there, and closer to City, I expect Brendan Rodgers' boys to get the job done.

The current Premier League table says Manchester are on the top of the list after beating Sheffield united. This Sheffield team beat Manchester United earlier. Man United couldn't do, but City did it better. City is an over all great team, and hopefully City are gonna win the league 2020/21

Yes, he's some player. I'm biased as a Villa fan, but really England should be building their team around him, and I'm glad he's finally been given an international chance. I read somewhere that he's now been fouled in more than 160 consecutive games, going back 4 seasons. I can't find the source to determine if it's a 100% accurate stat, but a foul is often the only way to stop him.

BBC: Is Grealish the Player of the Season?

I think Villa were lucky to beat Southampton. But I think they were unlucky to lose to Burnley in the previous game. They have a chance of maybe 5th to 8th in the league, but a Champions League spot would I think be beyond them at the moment.
