You would likely think Southampton would score at least one goal right? Liverpool need a win to keep distance between them and Manchester United at the top of the EPL table so they will go all out trying to get 3 points but Southampton have been playing very well this season and they will be aiming for at least a draw.

Danny Ins is the only man keeping Southampton where they are now when he is not scoring nobody is scoring the last time he scored was a few months ago against Aston Villa and Adam is not in find form also and Alison Becker back in goal post that's automatic clean sheet for Liverpool..... Salah is scoring

Until now though it is Southampton that is winning 1-0 and the game is being played at a super fast pace. Southampton are taking the game to Liverpool and matching them stride for stride. Liverpool need to score fast and Salah does not seem to be in the game at the moment.

Its a poor match so far from Liverpool who are unable to play through Southampton midfield pack at all; Also they are misplacing passes despite having so many days of rest etc. A good game for Southampton so far.

@JollyGood @Ampere sluggish first-half performance from the Liverpool side just imagine Ins scoring at 3 mins when he was the least expected to score tonight Stuart Armstrong has been the best player on the pitch so far...ahhhhh VAR that should be a penalty for Liverpool Jack Stephens intentionally blocked the ball with his hands..... Just wait for Salah goal guys.

A first half goal managed to give Southampton all 3 points. Liverpool threw everything at them in the second half but still nearly conceded a second when Southampton counter-attacked.

I hope you will recover your losses soon. This was a tricky game for Liverpool away at Southampton who had a point to prove because of their recent form dropping out of the top 5 while remained EPL leaders. What a game it was and great reaction from Southampton coach Ralph Hasenhüttl when he fell to his knees and cried when the final whistle was blown.

Klopp also showed great respect at the end of the game. What a manager, any team with Klopp as their manager would be fighting for the EPL title every season.

Looks like Chelsea is not doing well. Lampard has lots of good players, just look at they have Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell, Edouard Mendy and Thiago Silva. But some of the players don't look as good as they did at the previous club. In the last six games they have lost four times (this is bad). Lampard has plenty of alternative players if the schedule is too busy so there is no excuse because of the schedule. Apart from that, I also heard that Lampard argued with some players to create a bad relationship. If this trend of losing continues, I think Lampard should be ready to leave.

@JollyGood you won tonight though I'm not a Liverpool fan but I wanted them to win so I sleep in peace from my noisy Manutd fans quite unfortunately everything went opposite direction. I've locked my room waiting for sleep to wipe me off.

@AakZaki after the brief meeting by the Chelsea chairman Bruce and other boards of directors they have given Lampard another chance to get things right maybe the next two matches should be enough for him to clinch us the title. Like Peter Drury said the Lamp in Lampard is gone and Stanford bridge is in total darkness.

Mourinho has a rivalry with Guardiola going back many years and he also was a former Manchester United manager so no matter which team Tottenham face at Wembley there will be history between them and Mourinho.

This is brilliant i didn't follow up the game. Jose play ugly but he is a winner, he wins everywhere he steps no matter how bad the cub condition was, he plays to win and not to entertained, this  is definitely going to be Totteham major trophy after 51 years without trophies, Jose is a winner i don't see him losing to either Mancity or Manutd in the final. the players are right behind him this season giving their best. if you are the type who watch Totteham games you would understand what I'm taking about. Son, Ndobele, kane, Hojberg are are performing well this season i don't think they are letting this cup chance slide away..

Prediction:
Totteham vs Manutd .... Final

Here are my opinion on how the games will play out

Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 Crystal Palace

Can't say I didn't think of the possibility of an Aston villa win or was expecting the game to be all an easy one for Liverpool but then, Liverpool surely turned the game around from a first half 1-1 draw to a second half 67' minute 3 goals lead to put the game in an Aston villa 1-4 Liverpool win. A both team score was inevitable and probably the best bet to make on this game and so far, Aston villa has lost all winning hopes.

Wolverhampton on the other hand is winning crystal palace by a goal to nothing. The chances of a draw is there but I strongly doubt crystal palace would be able to make the difference and end the game in a draw.

Liverpool played an excellent game, I was surprised by the very good way that liverpool played against Aston Villa, it was a long time since I saw liverpool playing very well as they played in that game. they are to be congratulated and if they play like that against Manchester united then manchester united will be destroyed.

I didn’t watch this game, but at least the wolves managed to win, they are performing below what they had last season

I sincerely hope this is a joke Until the 60th minute of the match, the score was tied 1-1 until the young boys from Aston Villa began to run out of strength and they lost all chances for a favorable outcome within a few minutes. It's fair to say that the leaders of Liverpool were quite respectful of their opponents ' players, without showing homeric joy over their goals scored, but I'm not sure that Manchester United, for example, will also release their little boys against the opponent.

Traore scored a stunner for Wolves as they won and progress to the next round. Villa played with kids and had the score 1-1 at one point but the game still had to be won so well done to Liverpool.
