Statistically means that you will also get a lower return as well. So assuming you have 1000 dollars, and you wager with 10 dollars each, you get 100 tries and if all are zero then you are out and it is over, but if you win a 999x then you will get nearly 10k dollars because of it.

However if you wager 0.01 cents for each of them, then there is obviously a bigger chance of hitting 999x, there is no doubt about that but when you win you will with 10 bucks or something. That is why I never use too big money in gambling because I can not easily accept the risk of losing.
