Round 13 EFL English Championship League Bournemouth - Nottingham 2:0 Barnsley - Brentford 0:1 Preston - Blackburn 0:3 Luton - Birmingham 1:1 QPR - Rotherham 3:2 Stoke - Norwich 2:3 Wycombe - Huddersfield 0:0 Middlesbrough - Derby 3:0 Millwall -Reading 1:1 Bristol City - Watford 0:0 Coventry - Cardiff 1:0 Swansea - Sheffield Wed 1:1 Norwich had one more win against Stoke and they are now firmly holding first position, but Bristol and Reading have chance to catch them today. Swansea and Middlesbrough should win today and odds are nice, and maybe we see Derby and Sheffield sinking more on the bottom of table. Bristol City vs Watford looks interesting, odds are on Watford side and Bristol have many injured players but they won last 3 matches. There is correct final score prediction by Sportsbet, and you can win Watford shirt if you guess it correctly: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1458034.msg55680138#msg55680138 (results updated)

Round 14 EFL English Championship League
Brentford - QPR 2:1 Reading - Bristol City 3:1 Birmingham - Millwall 0:0 Blackburn - Barnsley 2:1 Cardiff - Luton 4:0 Derby - Wycombe 1:1 Huddersfield - Middlesbrough 3:2 Norwich - Coventry 1:1 Rotherham - Bournemouth 2:2 Sheffield Wed - Stoke 0:0 Watford - Preston 4:1 Nottingham - Swansea
New round in Championship, and on paper Norwich is looking like a nice win against Coventry, but keep in mind that there are ten players injured or out because of cards for Norwich. Other interesting pick is Bournemouth away win against Rotherham. They are in good form and have only one defeat so far. Armstrong is on fire for Blackburn with twelve scored goals as best goal scorer so far in EFL, and I expect him to score again against Barnsley.

I'm not too biggy on championship games because they are a lot harder to predict compared to standard PL games. That said, I would probably go with a safer option for round 14 games.
Watford vs Preston - 1x Watford wants to get back to the PL asap and coming into this fixture, they're the favorites to win but like I said, safer is better with this kind of games so I'm opting for a double chance.
Derby County vs Wycombe Both teams have been terrible this season so it difficult to tell who would win. I'm skipping this though.
Finally, A Bournemouth and Norwich win (even with missing players).

I would not say Championship matches are much harder to predict some of the other leagues, but odds can be much better. I am not following all clubs in EFL, but there are some top clubs playing there and they can compete with any top league clubs. Brentford won 2:1 in first match this week against QPR, and they are in zone for EPL qualification now, Toney scored again and he is now sharing top scorer position with Armstrong both scoring 12 goals.

Round 15 EFL English Championship League
Barnsley - Bournemouth 0:4 Reading - Nottingham 2:0 Brentford - Blackburn 2:2 Bristol City - Birmingham 0:1 Coventry - Rotherham 3:1 Huddersfield - QPR 2:0 Millwall - Derby 0:1 Norwich - Sheffield Wed 2:1 Preston - Wycombe 2:2 Stoke - Middlesbrough 1:0 Swansea - Luton 2:0 Watford - Cardiff 0:1
New round in EFL and I am looking on few matches like Reading vs Nottingham. Reading is better team here and they have good attack with Joao as one of the best strikers in league. Nottingham have more issues with injuries and I am taking Asian home win here, as draw is possible.
Norwich have lot of injured players but they play against Sheffield, one of the worst clubs in this league that also have some injured players. I can't see anything else here but Home win and odds are good.
Brentford vs Blackburn should be a match with lot of goals, and they both have best strikers in league.

Reading won 2:0 and easier than I expected, maybe because of Yates got a red card in start of the match that helped Reading a lot. They are now second place with same points as Bournemouth, but Norwich have big chance to move to first place if they win against Sheffield today. Very interesting fight for direct promotion to English Premier league.
All final results are updated on previous post.
update: Great week in EFL and all my picks did very good, Reading won, Norwich also won, and Brentford vs Blackburn result was 2:2 with lot of goals as I predicted.

Round 18 EFL English Championship League
Cardiff - Swansea Birmingham - Watford Blackburn - Norwich Bournemouth - Huddersfield Derby - Stoke Luton - Preston Middlesbrough - Millwall Nottingham - Brentford QPR - Reading Rotherham - Bristol City Sheffield W. - Barnsley Wycombe - Coventry
One more round for EFL and we have interesting situation in top with six clubs competing for Premier League promotion with only 4 points difference and Norwich taking the lead. I am taking Bournemouth to win against Huddersfield, and I think odds are not bad at all. Bournemouth is second place and lost only two times so far with great record playing at home field and if we look at history and previous h2h it is also on their side. Both teams have few missing players, but Huddersfield is very bad in away matches and I am betting against them here.
Nottingham vs Brentford looks like a nice away win. Home team have more injured and missing players, and they lost five from previous 6 matches. Brentford is better in team with one of the top league strikers Toney, and they are better in recent h2h matches. Brentford win here, but draw and low scoring match is possible, so asian handicap is not bad.
Blackburn vs Norwich ill be interesting match to watch and I expect to see goals here with and more risky bet would be Norwich win maybe with Asian Handicap but smaller stakes.

I'm surprised you made a thread for this league, it's a good one though and I hope to be visiting it for some prediction tips because, this is one of the leagues that, I find it rather more difficult to predict. I'm often sentimental and emotional over what happens here. I very much view the teams here as a struggling team with relatively equal strength which explains for the frequent 2.00-3.00 odd ranges and with a single goal which is targeted at joining in the EPL, teams here are pretty much serious all the time I don't just know what to make out of them for a bet. Hope this thread would produce tips to change that for me.

Both games are very difficult to predict for me and for people that has been arround me. WIth how premier league started this season as usual, it is very hard to predict as well. But if we take look at the games very well, there are some predictions that will come true both in English championship and premier league. Like me I have being using the two for my predictions and they both are like the same in term of prediction and guessing rigt, they are both tough to predict.

The EFL is the league of the strongest; with over 38 games played including play offs; its not a joke to gain promotion to the EPL at all. So far this season Watford has been my favorite club, i enjoy watching Man Utd player Garner play for Watford; he has struck up good numbers for a DM this season. I am tipping watford to take the first position followed by Bournemouth.
Blackburn - Norwich - a comfortable win for Norwich Bournemouth - Huddersfield - a draw for Bournemouth Derby - Stoke - a stoke city victory

Round 18 EFL English Championship League results: Cardiff - Swansea 0:2 Birmingham - Watford 0:1 Blackburn - Norwich 1:2 Bournemouth - Huddersfield 5:0 Derby - Stoke 0:0 Luton - Preston 3:0 Middlesbrough - Millwall 3:0 Nottingham - Brentford 1:3 QPR - Reading 0:1 Rotherham - Bristol City 2:0 Sheffield W. - Barnsley 1:2 Wycombe - Coventry 1:2 Bournemouth won easy like I predicted and they scored five goals for easy win, and they are now second in table best scoring team in league with 34 goals. Second pick from my predictions was also good and Brentford won 1:3 against Nottingham easier than I expected, and Nottingham is now close to danger zone. Third bet also won, Norwich win with 1:2 result, and again I had 100% correct picks in EFL, and myth busted that EFL is hard to predict. One more round in EFL is finished but don't worry because new rounds starts in only 3 days. Table is updated on first post.

Round 19 EFL English Championship League QPR - Stoke 0:0 Barnsley - Preston 2:1 Bournemouth - Wycombe 1:0 Bristol City - Millwall 0:2 Nottingham - Sheffield Wed 2:0 Watford - Brentford 1:1 Derby - Swansea 2:0 Cardiff - Birmingham 3:2 Middlesbrough - Luton 1:0 Blackburn - Rotherham 2:1 Coventry - Huddersfield 0:0 Reading - Norwich 1:2 New round of EFL is back and again I have few picks and suggestions, but remember to do your own research before placing any bets This is hard round for prediction but Bournemouth should win fairly easy against Wycombe. They are very good at home field and they lost only two times in total so far, with best attack in EFL league. Watch out for match Derby vs Swansea, bookies set Swansea as favorite, but h2h history is on Derby side and draw is possible, and Derby is still waiting for first win at home and have worst attack in league with only eight goals. I could see draw here or maybe surprise home win, but best to avoid it. (today results updated)

EFL is showing as very rewarding for me compared to some other league. Round 19 is finished and again my picks did spot on in this hard midweek matches with Derby doing surprise win with two goals and first win at home field. Bournemouth also won only with one goal difference, but maybe they are getting ready for round 20 starting this weekend. They are now on second place with only 3 points below Norwich.
Stats updated and new matches will be posted on Friday if all goes well.

Round 20 EFL English Championship League
Preston - Bristol City 1:0 Norwich - Cardiff 2:0 Birmingham - Middlesbrough 1:4 Brentford - Reading 3:1 Huddersfield - Watford 2:0 Luton - Bournemouth 0:0 Millwall - Nottingham 1:1 Rotherham - Derby (postponed) Sheffield Wed - Coventry 1:0 Stoke - Blackburn 1:0 Swansea - Barnsley 2:0 Wycombe - QPR 1:1
We have one more round of Championship matches and I expect this one to be better than last round in midweek with more options for betting. Let's start with Norwich vs Cardiff match with two teams in very good form and both fighting for Premier League. They both have some injured and missing players but Norwich lost only one match at home filed and they will have limited supporters available this time. My bet here is Norwich win, and safer option draw no bet Norwich.
If you are looking for match with two or more of goals in EFL than you watch match Brentford vs Reading. Brentford has top goalscorer Toney in EFL, both teams are fighting to qualify for Premier League, and both teams have injured players but Reading is missing some key players top goalscorers Joao, Meite and Richards, and if we look at h2h stats it is also on Brenford side. My picks Brentford win, and over 2.5 goals.
Last bet would be Watford win against Huddersfield who are missing most important player Koroma, and Watford must win here if they want to keep up with Bournemouth and Norwich for direct promotion in EPL. Safer bet would be Watford draw no bet.

Round 20 for EFL English Champisonship is finished, results updated in previous post and table on first post.
Norwich won easy with two goals in match against Cardiff, so both bets are won including safer draw no bet. They are now firmly holding first place in league with five points more than second placed Bournemouth.
I predicted Brentford vs Reading would be match with goals and it was with four goals in total for final 3:1. Both bets also won here as I predicted Brentford home win.
I had to have one bad pick finally in EFL and that is match Huddersfield - Watford where I expected Watford to show more, but I included this match only because of other competition I was participating....
Till the next EFL round in seven days.

Norwich have had a marvelous performance for a long time. They won all of their last five matches. They also lost just one game in their last ten matches in the league which is insane. Because EFL English Championship League is really tough for all of the teams in the league. It is not easy to have this kind of performance.

Round 21 EFL English Championship League, December 26
Barnsley - Huddersfield Blackburn - Sheffield Wed Bournemouth - Millwall (postponed) Bristol City - Wycombe Cardiff - Brentford Coventry - Stoke Derby - Preston Middlesbrough - Rotherham Nottingham - Birmingham QPR - Swansea Reading - Luton Watford - Norwich
One more round in EFL Championship and we have some interesting matches with one postponed Bournemouth vs Millwall. It is going to be fierce fighting for positions from 2nd to 6th place and looks like Swansea will have a good opportunity to climb up this week. Watford will have tough job after they fired head coach Ivic now they meat with leader Norwich at their home field, but I will post more information and predictions in next few days.

Just found this thread;)
Did not realize that we had enough fans here but I guess it would make sense from past EPL participation. I can imagine I would still follow Spurs as much as possible if they ever got relegated.
Watford are crazy, firing coaches all the time do they not think this affects their game?

Ivic spent only four months in Watford, and that is fourth changed coach since September 2019, but they really played bad in last match and ruined my prefect EFL score They are still on 5th position with only four defeats and with solid chances to qualify in EPL, but let's see how long Xisco Muñoz will stay in Watford and how much things will change since he doesn't have any experience in English football, and coming from Dinamo Tbilisi, Georgia.
