Clubs in EFL will be more motivated to play this week because Federation and EPL agreed to help them financially because they have much lower income for not selling tickets.
Reading vs Luton match will be the only match with limited number of supporters, and all others will be played in empty stadiums.

Blackburn vs Sheffield will be first match and my bet will go for home win here.
Blackburn have one of the best strikers in league Armstrong and one of the best attacks with 34 scored goals, but they are still in midtable and have only one win in last five matches, but Sheffield is much worse and just can't score enough goals.
Sheffield is playing dirty and they are on top for red/yellow cards in the league, so it is possible to see that again.
Last time they played in January Blackburn won 5:0 and I expect to see lot of goals, and Blackburn to finally materialize good play as they had some bad luck in previous matches.
Bet: Home Win, and over 2.5 goals (both team are missing some players so don't go with high stakes)

Bristol City vs Wycombe is the match of two teams who are in worst form in league now, but this season is terrible for Wycombe with only two wins so far, and both teams have issues with scoring goals and with injured and missing players.
Home win is probable here but only with lower stakes, as Wycombe will probably set a wall to get one point here.
Bet: under 2.5 goals or under 3

Watford vs Norwich is promising to be interesting and first match for Watford new coach Xisco Munoz who is first time coaching in England and I doubt he will fix all the problems right away, and he needs time to know how things work in England.
Norwich is in great form and firmly holding first position with five wins streak, and there will be no home crowd support for Reading.
Bet: double chance X2 and goals over 2.5  (risky bet Away win)

Blackburn managed to get only draw with Sheffield but they missed so many chances and had all ball possession but couldn't score one more goal and win here maybe because of many missing players, and bnoth bets lost here.
Bristol Ciry won scoring goals in last few minutes of the match for final result 2:1, and Swansea made great away win and secured second playe on table just below Norwich.
Watford managed to win with single goal with new head coach, but I watched the match and I think it should have been draw result if Norwich could only score. Man of the match is Sarr from Watford.

There was a match between Watford and Norwich last night. Norwich got a 5-win streak before this match. They were really focused and ambitious in the match. According to statistics, we can see that they played a quite nice game but they were so unlucky that they couldn't score any goal. They had 16 shots but they got just 3 shots on target. Watford managed to win here by scoring one goal in the last minutes of the first half.

Derby just scored 3 goals against Birmingham with coach Wayne Rooney as one of the last desperate attempt to escape from bottom of the table and they are just above red zone with 19 points if they win here.

Big chance for Middlesbrough today against Sheffield who is troubled with many injuries and terrible position on table with only 4 wins in total and worst attack in league with only 12 scored goals.
Middlesbrough is rested more because match with Rotherham was postponed on Boxing day and with win here they can be in zone for Premier league promotion, and they are better in h2h against Sheffield.
Bets: Away win, draw-no-bet Away win

Norwich vs QPR is chance for Norwich to get back after losing last match losing from Watford, but they have some injured players today.
Quality is totally on home side, and QPR didn't win in last eight rounds.

Rotherham vs Barnsley
Home team is missing six players for this match and they postponed two matches before but now have to play or lose points.
Barnsley had huge win last round against Huddersfield in extra time, and they are in good form now approaching zone for EPL promotion, and win today is needed for that to happen.
Rotherham will have more energy but I doubt they can win here, however draw or away win is possible result here and I expect to see goals.

We have two matches postponed this week and question what is happening with Norwich who didn't win in last two matches, lost one and they have third chance today against Barnsley who is in very good form and currently holding eight place in EFL table.
Norwich is undefeated in most h2h matches against Barnsley in all competitions, but I would not totally exclude draw here as final option.
Lot of injured players for both sides and I don't quite understand low odds bookies set for home win here.

Wycombe vs Middlesbrough
I just can't see Middlesbrough failing again here like they did last round with Sheffield and with win here they would be very close to EPL qualification zone.
They have one of the best defense in league and Wycombe is last place with very bad attack.
Boxing Day game was postponed and Middlesbrough should be fresh and ready to win here despite few injuries they have, Neil Warnock will be happy only with win here.
Bet: Away win

Swansea vs Watford match should be without many goals, and I think best bet here is under 2.5

Nice results and many away wins in this round of EFL without a single draw result and only one home win for Swansea.
Norwich won 1:0 like I expected from them to get back winning and one goals was enough this time to keep them on first position in table with four points more than Swansea.

Swansea won against Watford and I didn't expect to see 3 goals here, so bet lost.

Middlesbrough won easy against Wycombe who score opener goal but lost 1:3 in the end, and I won my bet.
They are now just one point below Watford and EPL qualification zone.

Next round in EFL is back on January 16 with Bournemouth vs Millwall being played on January 12 as previously delayed match.

I am following all EFL championship clubs here so I am adding one EFL cup match here Tottenham vs Brentford instead of creating separate topic.
Brentford is doing fine this year with one of the best attacks in league and they are on very good 4th position on table with best goalscorer in league Ivan Toney who scored 16 goals so far.
They have amazing run with 16 matches without lost and they won last four but now they have real test against Tottenham.
Jose Mourinho and Tottenham players are motivated for this semi-final and taking it very seriously coming after amazing win against Leeds.
Winner of this match will play against Manchester City or Man United, so motives are there for both sides, but my bet is on Spurs to win and qualify and I expect to see goals from both teams.

We are back with EFL championship matches this weekend but before that there are few previously delayed matches to be played in next few days:

Luton - QPR
Bournemouth - Millwall
Brentford - Bristol City

My first pick will be home win for Brentford against Bristol City.
Brentford have one of best striker in EFL league Ivan Toney who scored 16 goals so far and they are in very good form without losing a match for a long time in league and currently holding 4th position on table.
Bristol City is solid mid-table team but for this match they have many injured and missing players and they lost 4:0 in last match with Brentford in 2020.
I can only see home win here.

Bournemouth vs Millwall is interesting match to watch and even if odds are suggesting easy home win I would be careful here.
Millwall is not that bad as table position suggests but Bournemouth is in good form.
Home win is possible but I would not be surprised to see a draw.

One more postponed match for this weekend is QPR vs Wycombe and that is total of 3 postponed in total for EFL championship.

Cardiff vs Norwich is interesting to watch and find out if Norwich can keep winning and hold the first place.
Both team have some injured and missing players and big blow is missing the best Cardiff striker Moore, important defender  Morrison and they lost last four matches in total.
H2H History is also on Norwich side and they won last two matches with Cardiff.
My bets: Away win, and safer option is draw no bet away win.

Derby vs Rotherham is match for survival in EFL and it's not going to be easy job.
Wayne Rooney team lost only two times in EFL last nine matches and they hae slight edge in h2h meetings with Rotherham.
Some important players are missing for Rotherham and they had hard lost match against Everton in FA cup, while Derby rested all players in same competition and player with young under 23 players.
I expect to see home win here, but draw can happen.
My bets: Home win, lower stakes.

Watford vs Huddersfield should be home win, but odds are low and Huddersfield can surprise and they are not that bad team, even h2h is on their side and draws are rear in their mutual matches.
Both teams are not in good form and I would just avoid betting on this match.

Barnsley vs Swansea should be very interesting match and both teams are in solid form.
Few players are missing for both sides, and what I noticed is that that Barnsley never won against Swansea in history with six wins for Swansea and five draws.
I am expecting this trend to continue as Swansea is better team with best defense in league and potential EFL champion with Norwich; they also had one extra day of rest after FA cup match.
My bet: risky Away win, and double chance X2

All matches finished for this week EFL championship and there was just one draw in Blackburn vs Stoke match.
Norwich and Swansea managed to win like I predicted with my tips, but Derby lost in last minutes with one goal and they didn't performed like I expected.
Race for title is still very much alive and we are going to have next round in just few days in midweek.

Derby vs Bournemouth
W.Rooney expected to see more from this Derby team but they lost against Rotherham and they are slipping lower on table.
Bournemouth is thirds place on table and they just re-signed ex-Arsenal/West Ham midfielder Jack Wilshere and we will be able to play against Derby.
Interesting fact that in previous h2h with Derby matches Bournemouth never won but this time quality is on their side and they need to win if they want to go in Premier League.
My bet here: Asian Handicap 0 Away win.

Brentford is finally back after rest and several postponed matches and they have even have a chance to fight for the title and EPL.
They have best league striker Ivan Toney with 16 goals and West Ham and Arsenal are looking to sign a deal with him so he will be motivated to score.
Luton will not be easy to beat and home win odds are low for me.
My bet here: Toney to score anytime

It looks like Norwich is already the winner of the Championship this year.I know that the Championship is longer than the Premier League and it has more games so anything can happen but when I saw the stats of Norwich it is clear that they have no rivals this year.Other teams who are following simply lack the consistency of Norwich.

EFL Championship is back with Round 26, and this time it is shorter because of FA Cup matches played in the same time.
We have some hard matches to predict so I suggest placing only smaller stakes this time as any results can happen.

Preston vs Reading is important match for Premier league qualification and Reading is in very good form now.
Previous h2h matches are on Reading side and they have great striker Joao, but there are many missing players for both teams.
I would give advantage to Reading but I would not exclude draw as result.
My bets: Double Chance X2,  draw no bet Away win.

I am looking for match Middlesbrough vs Blackburn and Armstrong to score at anytime.
Blackburn have best attack in league with 39 scored goals and Armstrong scored 16 and he is sharing 1st place as best striker in league.

Derby managed to win last round with new coach Rooney but I am not sure they can repeat this against QPR.

Some matches will be played in midweek including some earlier postponed from different rounds.

Stoke-Watford game was really tough. Stoke was too dominant in both halves but Watford managed to score 2 goals in 4 minutes and brought the score to 2-0. Stoke scored in the 83rd minute and decreased the goal difference to 1. But they couldn't score the equalizer and Watford got a huge 2-1 win. After this game, Watford are the 3rd with 46 points. Stoke are the 8th and stayed at 37 points.

Derby did one more amazing win against QPR and they will escape relegation if they continue like this under Wayne Rooney management.
Preston vs Reading was draw without any goals so my prediction for double chance was correct, and Blackburn managed to win but Armstrong didn't score in this match.

Millwall - Watford

Watford are the 3rd with 46 points and Millwall are the 16th with 29 points. Watford have had a great performance lately (4W 1L). In the last 5 head-to-head games, Watford won 3 times, Millwall won once and one of them ended in a draw. I think Watford will win this game and continue to fight for promoting to the Premier League directly.

Watford is better team for sure against Millwall but for this match they are missing some players including first goalkeeper Ben Foster, and they are not the best in away matches.
Millwall however is one of the worst teams when playing at home and they have many most draws in EFL, so I would not exclude a draw this time.
