Is anybody's blade down? I tried restarting mine but no luck. I already opened up a ticket, wondering if it is just me or not.
Same problem here

I ordered two blades when the website said they were in stock. Got an email saying they were shipped on the 7th, but all USPS has received is electronic info, no shipment. This is now two days after GAW said it shipped, but USPS has not received anything.
What happened to in-stock with immediate shipping? Shipping is not send out electronic info but holding merchandise.
Don't worry about it yet, same happened with me, day 3 i got ship info, and was here before day 5. All good.

Hey Guys, I still have not heard back from Gridseed, and I am getting tired of waiting. I know you guys are too. First, I want to thank you for sticking in there. Second, I told you I would step up and make this right, even if they did not. So here is what I am going to do. I am going to personally fund the purchase of a free Fury for every blade that was delivered (including hosting) from us from April 27th to May 4th. I will also provide a free 5 chip miner for all blades that were delivered (including hosting) from us from April 20th to April 26th. I want to be clear, as of writing this, Gridseed has given us nothing the way of compensation. I will be personally funding these. The bottom line is this: I will not allow the way another company operates to screw our customers. Even if I have to prevent it myself. This is why I am directing the majority of all our revenues in to "Project Prime". It will minimize, if not eliminate these kind of price drops. More coming soon. Rest assured, we will always protect and do right by our customers. Thank you for your belief in us. I will have someone come on later this weekend with info on how to redeem your free hardware Josh-CEO GAW Miners

Hi, this is an announcement thread (which is why it's in that section). You're more then welcome to make comments on other threads from us or others. But, because of the length of this thread, we are attempting to keep it focused on announcements, so people can easily find news about GAW Miners. Please respect that.

While we do appreciate the questions, for competitive reasons, we have a very specific plan on what spec information we want to release and when. We encourage you to only buy when your comfortable and feel you have all the information you need.

Hello! We now support NiceHash.com on our hosted cloud hashing service. Enjoy! If you have any issues please contact us at support@gawminers.comCan you implement extranonce subscriptions to go along with the NiceHash GAW hosting support? Please... "If your mining software does not implement extranonce subscriptions, then for every order swap, reconnect is needed. It can happen that in such case, your miner will switch to backup pool for few minutes before switching back to NiceHash."

I think 2 fury miners would be fair per blade purchase or can we just get BTC back instead of any product?
Gaw don't have to offer anything. IT's nice that they do.

Right now my blade is hashing at half it's advertised speed
Peamine, Please see my post in the other thread, and please do get in touch with me, I will do everything in my power to sort this out. -Jeff I purchased 2 hosted blade miners. Paid $3100 (1600 & 1500) just before each price drop to $1,500 & $1,000 respectively, now they are worth $2,000. I don't think i will be buying any miners soon. Every time i buy one, the next day the price drops. I think I will just buy LTC or BTC instead. Why waste time mining. In the 2 weeks time, I have only mined about 6-7 LTC's so far. My $1600 $1500 blades will take 7-9 months to ROI without factoring in the difficulty increases. That's way too much risk... That's very true. I've bad stories about pre-ordering mining equipment that's why I am not ordering anymore equipment. I've spent over $5000 GPUs and Gridseeds and got back only 1 btc back in the last 5 month. And $2000 was on the Blade and Single Gridseeds and now it's worth only $1200 or less. I've lost $800 more in a single week. It is nice for GAW to compensate a little bit, but not enough to cover the lost in a short period. The moral of the stories is, be a shovel seller.

I admire Josh for even trying to do something about the price decreases.. But really In a way he is damned if he does and damned if he don't.. And it sounds like Gridspeed don't give a rats ass... At least Josh does...

This should not be an issue. If so, let's keep it in the ticket for better tracking. It is difficult to poll the forums for things like this as it increases in size

So in this announcements thread, are you going to make some announcements regarding the downtime of the hosted miners?

Is there any information on the buy back program? I'd love to get rid of the gridseeds I bought. Pieces of garbage honestly. Damn things constantly crash and I spend 30-45 minutes getting them all back up because most of them refuse to restart. I need to constantly reboot them over and over to finally get them up again.
I love wasting hours of my day trying to keep these things running....not.
Maybe they are not the nicest miners, but they are certainly not garbage. I have 20 of them running 24/7 at 7Mhs and I never have any problem. I use the latest CPU miner from 'Siklon' on github, this works perfectly. Of course I would also like to get rid of them and buy something more compact. As it seems now I lose about €2000,- on these Gridseeds because I bought my first 10 pack very early, even before GAW was founded. Sh't happens.

What's up with this hosted miners down?
I'm at the same situation, and whenever they finally get up they are not mining on my pool. Mails have been sent from Gawminers regarding this affecting 20% of all users, so I hope they get this up and running again soon

Mails have been sent from Gawminers regarding this affecting 20% of all users, so I hope they get this up and running again soon Same here, have been down for 24h and still waiting, had so much downtime in the last month that it's not even funny. I suggest they tell us where the problem is, if it's a controller or blade issue not wanting to come out of reboot it may be better for us to just take ownership of those damn blades and be able to support them ourselves which would also relieve them of that nightmare. I'm soooo fed up with these blade issues. I honestly thought these issues were being us after the last update when I finally was able to mine at full speed for an entire day but since then I've been mining at 50% hashrate, I get 50% accepted and 50% discarded no matter what pool I use (when it's not stuck in reboot for 4 - 6 hours or when both panels come back from reboot). Losing hope.... -- One would hope we would get a chance to at least try to break even on those $1600 piece of crap. I would highly recommend taking ownership - nothing to do with GAW, but blades can be finnicky and if you have a rpi or Linux box around Sandown111's cpuminer runs like a dream, get less than 1% hw+r and 24/7 uptime at around 5.6M per blade @ 838freq. Plus then Gaw would have less to manage with whatever problems they are experiencing. Of course I spent days moving between systems, hubs, and power arrangements to get to this optimal setup, and that is for 3 blades, the 4 my co-worker got were easy from the start. I agree with you, I don't believe it has much to do with GAW either, I don't see how they would have much to do with a device refusing to reboot or taking forever to reboot. They're likely doing the best they can do with the crap they were given. I'm seriously thinking about taking ownership, the only thing holding me off is having to invest more money into a raspberry after paying so much for a miner itself that will likely never be profitable at this point.

GAW Miners, I am looking to buy a few Furys and maybe more down the road. After all the Gridseed termoil I'd love to be a customer of such a loyal company, GAWMiners. I am conflicted between your Fury and the Zeus Blizzard. If you guys offered a bonus cloud hash like they do this would be a done deal. Do you have any plans on doing so within the next few days? I understand you are dealing with the Gridseed issue but I plan on ordering within the next few days and wanted to reach out to make sure I make the right move.
Thanks

a bit confused 1 gridseed = 333 so 3 are 999 or 1 mh correct?
1 fury = 1 mh correct?
power is close to the same correct?
so buying 3 gridseeds at 60 each if you are a member and have room is as good as buying 1 fury at 199
or is my math off?
I ask since I decided to get 8 more gridseed's my gridseed's run at freq 850 and pull 9 watts.
So at the fury level It looks like my gridseed buy coming on monday was better for me.
Am I correct or do I have a math issue?
the black widow gets 13 mh at 320 watts +- 10%
so if it gets 13mh at 352watts
my 30 gridseeds got 10.2mh at 292 watts
So the black widow is about 28 watts a mh
and my 30 gridseed setup is about 28mh.
now if I order 30 gridseeds at 60 each I am at 1800 usd and I earn 18000 points getting me like 1 more gridseed.
this gear is all close to 28-30 watts an mh
So basically gridseeds at 60 each are close to tied (value wise) with the fury and the black widow.
looks like i need to go up to the step up the falcon to get a price gain.
or continue buying 5 gridseeds at 300 for all 5.
