Here is another contest to pass the time while you wait for your miners  As you guys know, we have some fun name that we use for things. Believe it or not, I make them all up, but for very specific reasons...... I will give a free Fury (second week). To the person the person that guesses the closest to why we choose all the names for everything related to our company first Cut off is 11pm Eastern Tonight! Do they all have something to do with the movie. Captain America: the winter solider. Or am I way off base. |

Those are easy, I mean all the different names we use for stuff The names certainly inspire visions of speed, efficiency, and general sweetness. Its tough to find the exact inspiration for the names, outside of Marvel names. Judging from Gaw miners motto "Mining made for everyone" perhaps its the feeling in all of our stomachs when we fire up these little Greek gods for the first time, and connect to ones favorite pool. |

Perhaps you choose those names because they are easy to remember since they are in popular culture, and this also gives a "homely" impression of GAW since they, like the Marvel heroes, are based in the USA. And also of course because of the "super-power" connation of the heroes your miners are named in honour of Edit: I want that free-fury, and not only because free-fury is so fun to say! |

Regarding the GAW in the GAWMiners company name.. The GAW acronym stands for "Great Auk Wireless" a previous telecommunications company that Josh Garza ran in the northeast back in 2005.
