I feel Almost a year has passed and this year has been the hardest year for many people. Economically, many people have lost their jobs and have no other income. In many parts of the world the situation of covid-19 infection is getting more and more serious, the death rate is increasing and more importantly, it is becoming more and more serious. should be warned against the risk of economic collapse of many countries, the consequences of covid-19 are terrible, life is deadlocked, severe lack of food. Including my family, the past year has been a terrible time.

And more importantly there is no end to this crisis in sight. Even in countries with very high vaccination rates, there are reports of increasing number of new infections and deaths. One perfect example is the United States. They were among the first countries to start the vaccination drive and by now more than half of the population is fully vaccinated. Despite that, they are now reporting >2,000 new deaths from COVID every day. The same goes for many other countries which have attained higher rates of vaccination.

99% of the hospitalizations at this point are unvaccinated people in the US, so the vaccines are clearly working as intended for those who get them and the pandemic at this point is largely relegated to a crisis of people who refuse to get vaccinated.  We'd be a lot further along to ending this pandemic if people quit being so stupid.  There are some places in the US where hospitals are rationing healthcare because they don't have the resources to treat everyone, so the regrettable decisions by the unvaccinated are now affecting people who don't even have COVID.

I think the worst effect of this pandemic will occur in 2020 because at that time many countries were in lockdown and the world economy was completely paralyzed. now that the vaccine has been found and has begun to be distributed to all the inhabitants of the earth, slowly we are returning to normal life and the world economy is starting to rise.

Agreed. But I have a few concerns. A recent study showed that the efficacy of the Pfizer vaccine reduces to 42% after 5 months. And there was another study from Bahrain, which claimed that out of the total of 976 people who died from COVID 19 in that country, 119 were among those who received two doses of the vaccine (857 were unvaccinated). I can clearly see that the number of deaths are higher among the unvaccinated, but the proportion is noway near 99%. It is more like 80%-85%. There is still a considerable chance of death for those who are fully vaccinated.

There has been vaccine and everyone should be vaccinated to be safe from covid-19, though I m my country the federal government has made it compulsory for everyone should be vaccinated to avoid the spread of the virus in the City. Sincerely speaking after the covid-19 turbulence the situation is never the same as the past so we all trying our best to get normalized and live natural life without the fear to contract virus.
Difficult, here in my country (Brazil) the president himself campaigns against vaccination. Lots and lots of people have not yet been vaccinated, lots and lots of vaccines have expired, corruption in my country is increasing as cities and states have gained autonomy from the government. In short, the pandemic in Brazil is far from over, while many, many people die every day.

That's sad if the leader himself is the one that's against the vaccination. What's his statement about the vaccines?

But looking at the covid19 stats on google, your country has 40.8% of total population that are fully vaccinated and that's around 86.1m.

Yeah.. heard a lot about Jair Bolsonaro. He shouldn't be the president at all. He was elected just because he got his main opponent (Lula da Silva) jailed on false charges. Ever since he was elected as the president in 2019, he has done a lot of damage to the environment and to the citizens of Brazil. He actively encourages deforestation and encroachment of indigenous areas. The sooner he is kicked out of office, that good for Brazil (and for the world). And almost 600,000 have died from COVID so far in Brazil. That is the second highest death toll in the world (after the US).

Bolsonaro is a totally destructive guy and without any kind of preparation to be president. He was only elected because the opposition was severely weakened by various corruption allegations. In this next election, we will have a candidate who can face both slates, Ciro Gomes.

Since more and more often people are divided into vaccinated and unvaccinated, wait for situation where vaccinated is highly demanded a product from an unvaccinated. Either the rule "everything can be bought, that is just a question of money" will work or such situation will start to spoil demand/supply balance and "returning to normal life" will be slowed down.

Another example - we will let in the shop a customer with vaccine passport, but wont let in a rich unvaccinated customer. Such situations only worsen economy recovery.

I am all in favor of everyone getting vaccinated as soon as possible.
Everyone wants to come back to the old living and although some first world countries already are living their lives back, with or without mask they can go everywhere without anything to worry about contraction.

I do hope that all of us will get back there again.

Great to hear that. But I believe the presidential elections are still more than a year away. You need to deal with Bolsonaro until then. BTW, I can see that the pandemic situation in Brazil is improving. The daily deaths have gone down from 2,000-3,000 per day to low hundreds. And more than 40% of the population is fully vaccinated. So the situation should be normal in a matter of months. I haven't heard about Ciro Gomes before. And when I check the opinion polls, he is far behind Lula and Bolsonaro. He's struggling to get to double digits.

Regrettably, COVID-19 is still around us, and transnational travel and trade are still facing huge difficulties. Personally, I cannot go abroad to complete my studies due to COVID-19, which has a great impact on myself. Fortunately, during this time I came into contact with Bitcoin and caught up with this bull market.

As of the start of the covid-19 period, so many things changed for people from all over the world. People lost their jobs and they had to stay at home because of the virus. This helped people meet the cryptocurrency market much easier. And the demand has increased at a very high rate thanks to this period. Some people even started to be a trader rather than preferring a classic job.

Not all but many don't want to.

Because of the side effects that their body might react and there are also those that just don't want to take it because it's not what they needed.

First world countries managed to provide what their people are calling the government, with the help of being vaccinated
they are now free to move without these safety health protocols.

The only concerned why most 3rd world country still can't do things like this is the realities in which vaccinated people are more
lesser than those who already have the shots.

This year has been the hardest year of all time for most countries, no country has been affected. Almost everyone has been affected by this pandemic, even this year is like a dream for me, I still remember how I spent the beginning of 2020 when my country still hasn't know. about the virus that happened in Wuhan. and The health situation has changed and hundreds of millions of people will die as a result of the health and psychological well-being of this virus. I myself had a mild stroke and failed to get the covid vaccine. Because of my background disease, I have not been able to get the vaccine so far but I consider myself a lucky person to not have this horrible disease.

Including my family, the past year has been a terrible time.
now and even until the end of the year from 2021 I don't think there are any signs of covid ending and even now there is a new variant that has already attacked a lot and the death rate is increasing even for people who have been vaccinated.
this indicates that covid is still not well resolved even after more than a year.
Even now the vaccine is not very effective with the new variant now and the government will inevitably be required to solve things like this, especially in protection from this new variant of the virus.

Indeed. Pandemic started year 2019 but the hardest year is this year 2021. There are so many challenges that people face in this year just like business was being close, there are lot of unemployed personel and I can say that it is the hardest year for most of the countries because no countries were not affected in this pandemic. There is no work but the prices of essential goods is still rising and it is the dangerous part for some of those people who have an illness to go outside for they are the people who is easily affected with this disease. this issue of availability of vaccines was something that some rich countries did to monopolize vaccines, there are countries that are giving vaccines to tourists when in other countries there are no vaccines for people in risk zones, something very unfair because these third world countries like My country also paid for the vaccine but the rich collected all the vaccines, the result is that third world countries will suffer in the economy because they have to continue to take the most severe measures of restrictions

I would say the hardest is yet to come as we might reach a point where we might see major inflation and the businesses that closed down during the pandemic will not even open back up and the number of jobs available in the market is reduced considerably. Everyone is feeling that and in the future we might see the situation getting worse.

There is no work but the prices of essential goods is still rising and it is the dangerous part for some of those people who have an illness to go outside for they are the people who is easily affected with this disease. The past year was a terrible time but this year was the hardest time to those unemployed person.
This one is especially true as the price keeps on soaring and we have no idea whether we will go back to another lockdown if there is further mutations of this virus. We are living in a strange time and i am not sure when we will be back to normal.
