Hopefully we will all be given health, because having a healthy body is more valuable than having a lot of money. Therefore, if we can maintain our

Sounds like the player had far too much stress going in in their lives and were overcome with a sudden ramping up of that stress as they realised they'd won.  Definitely a cautionary tale for anyone wanting to de-stress through gambling.

I don't think that stress would be real reason why people dies from heart attack when winning jackpots. It is more likely the excitement that comes when you win at anything especially with gambling. I've experience too much excitement when gambling even if I only win small rewards but in this case, hitting jackpots will surely gives  you too much joy and excitement knowing how it will change your life.
Anyway, I'm not saying that stress isn't a factor as it can really put yourself into risk when combined with a sudden change of feeling such as excitement but it's not the main reason of the death of jackpot winners.

That's it, its got to be much more than stress. Most of this people probably had some illness or something and probably what was at stake but then, i think its more about the shock. You had a lot on your head and all of a sudden, its all gone when you least expected it. Most people that die from gone shot isn't often about the instant pain they receive but then, the sudden shock that results from the fact that you've just been shot, i creates in you the mindset that puts you in that death spot. That is synonymous to the situation being talked about here, having all hope lost and instantly a jackpot. It pushes you to the edge and if you ain't strong enough, you fall off.

That I guess is the negative reaction of the human body who already had history on heart disease (some might be too mild that It goes unnoticed) who got overwhelmed with happiness, excitement, and surprise. All of this is a product of an unhealthy lifestyle, though some are hereditary but is being abused by unhealthy lifestyle as well.

Well, I don't know If how are the family members are able to process and claim the winning amount If this person who just won died after learning that his ticket had the jackpot.

At first, judging from the name of this thread I too thought it's about how people died immediately after winning the jackpot, which seemed suspicious, because it's a common misbelief, that people can simply have a heart attack due to shock/too surprising events/excitement. As you said, it can only happen to people, who already had a heart attack, or have a medical predisposition.

But look at the articles closely - these people died weeks after winning the lottery from a different cause: in a car crash, or old people getting scared of something, and some of the search results just concern the matter of inheritance right in such cases...

By the way, I would prefer the winning amounts to be moderate in order to avoid situation like that. Better that the rest of the prize money is split into my parts and spread around so that there will be more winners

People should learn to detach themselves from material things so when they unexpectedly win/lose, they pretend as if nothing happened and move on. The less pressure could even help them know how to spend the money or manage the situation the right way. .

By nature, all human is connected to the material and to avoid a situation stated by the OP it depends on the individual maturity and health illnesses. However, gambling is not for people who cant control their emotions/buzz I don't why it hard for people to understand this.

No matter how much the rate is, I don't think that double taxation is fair. If they want to tax the winners, then they should not tax the ticket sales. Now what happens is that first they tax the lottery ticket sales. Then they impose tax on the winners. And finally, if the winner gifts a part of his reward to some of his close relatives or friends, then they have to pay tax on that amount as well. This is absolute lunacy and I hope the governments would look in to it. But with left-leaning governments coming up in many countries around the world, I don't have much hope.

We should know the impact that we already got in the gambling game, so we know how to prevent a heart attack. The bolded is a bit strange and interesting. I wonder why they do that and exactly where does that happen? Are they trying to discourage winners from sharing their wins with others or something l?

I doubt that this could really happen to a person which is totally fit even if his mental state was in shock but his body would able to compensate and able to withstand that.
Usually people do end up on dying with this certain state of condition are to those who do have complicated sickness that  they had been carrying for a while

And will give you only pic so its up to you guys if you want to read all the articles that you can find on google, just search "lottery winners who died from heart attack". I feel sorry about their situation since instead of being lucky they turn out to be the most unlucky person by the time they hit the jackpot since they die without enjoying it.

Both Australia and New Zealand's lotteries (run under licence from their respective governments) have already taken the tax out pre-draw, so for example say a Power Ball Game has a $50 Million Dollar first division, then that's what you get - $50 Million dollars.

You can specify who gets a share, but they aren't taxed (and neither are you). If you do nominate people to receive a share there is of course cash transaction reporting to the Tax Office (which is a good thing as they then don't ask questions where you got the money from).

The tax will be applied after the winners' names come out, and before they get their money, the winner's money will cut off for the tax. I think it is normal for the place to ask the winner to pay the taxes, and I think other lottery games available in the store will also require the winner to pay the tax. But the tax amount will be different, and maybe someplace ask the tax of half of the win money. The winner can not get all of the money because they need to pay the tax.
