Have the esports championships already finished for this year? I haven't found anything related to CS or LoL. Apparently, we'll only have news next year then? I saw that LoL will be testing new features in this new preseason, like movement with WASD, are you aware of that?

Yup, they're already finished this year, and it went by quickly like a regular tournament. MongolZ took the trophy in CS after some of their opponents weren't at their best due to food illness, while in LoL it was Gen.G who secured the trophy after facing the same opponents from MSI.

I've won quite a bit and this is my current bet for Tundra against Yandex, it's only on the first map after Yandex winning the series against Virtus Pro.

Nice live bet on Tundra, that first game looked like Yandex got the better draft, but the kiting and skirmishes from Tundra were so annoying that they couldn't have a proper front to back team fight.

Actually it's been out for a while now, although it's not available in normal and ranked games. I'm not a fan of it personally, the movement is quite limited and it feels clunky to play. But maybe I'm just biased since I've always played using mouse. Some people say it's good for ADCs though. You can try it out in practice tool or ARAM to see if you'd like it.

The lower bracket matches are already in full swing in DreamLeague, and the first team to go out of the remaining eight was Falcons, while Xtreme Gaming moves on to the next round to face Tundra.

Falcons tried going back to their default beefy heroes(DK, Mars, Centaur), but Xtreme's pace was just too much for them and it snowballed out of control.

Got smoked on that Tundra game yesterday when they played against Yandex for the last game of the day.
They were strong for the first map but then got bled by Yandex for the second.
Had to cashout my bet just to break even but then ended up losing it anyways on some other sports.
Still not sure of Yandex went on to win that match as I couldn't be bothered to check the final score.
But they were going back and fourth on that final map so am not certain who actually won that game.

Because once I lose the dota2 match before the last game ends, I normally just tune out of it and move on to the next bet.

I haven't used it yet. But I don't think it's an advantage; I think if there is one, it will be removed or left only in casual mode. This feature should only be used by new players to adapt to the MOBA style. I don't think it's a huge gateway for new players.

I want Tundra to move forward and win but I've seen that in map 1 that they have the edge. But when map 2 and 3 have come, I would have thought that it's still them that will get any of those. But Yandex played better and that map 2 was their turning point. They're about to lose but I guess that Tundra has lost patience on it and that's why Yandex was able to come back after that.

I really think it's a downgrade for most pro players, since most of them already have very high APM anyway. Let's take Gumayusi's 1v2 against Ruler and 369 as an example, back in the semi-finals of Worlds 2023, he needed his movements to be very precise in that fight. I just don't think those dodges are possible with WASD.

Yeah the tournaments have apparently wound down for the holidays since these players are from different countries so they all want to spend time during these last ten days of the year with family and friends.
Haven't been keeping up-to-date with League of Legends lately so maybe some other users such as @rohang can answer those questions you have.

"So it's time to go on vacation. Thank you all so much for the work we've done over the past 6 years. I've met and worked with so many amazing people in Spirit, all of whom are super pros in their field and great people. From media to merchandise. To the department guys, thank you all for the time we've spent together!

I managed to achieve a lot in CS and go from being a minor and constant qualifier to a stable Tier 1 team, and I'm really happy to have played a part in that!
Of course, I've played with a lot of people over the past 6 years, but I definitely want to thank Sergey Hally for his huge contribution to me, for bringing me back to the game, for the many things he taught me, and for the fact that we became friends over time - that's the most important thing!
I've already written everything I wanted to say to all the team members, but I'd like to add Borya, Mirik, Dan, Dima, Vanya, and Andrey. I was happy to meet and play with you all, to achieve everything I dreamed of, and thank you for this incredible journey in the world of CS.
I especially want to wish Boris good luck - keep going, never give up, and you'll succeed 100%! Trust the guys around you and everything will be fine! After all, I managed to do it, so you'll definitely handle it even better!
Thank you Nikita for the second chance, back in the first rebuilding of the team (of course, I could list a billion things you did with me and helped me with, but I'll just skip that and just thank you for the life I got while being in your organization). And of course, a huge thank you to all the higher-ups in the organization. Wow, I must have really tested your nerves, you know that. Thank you for your patience, hahahaha.

So now I think the replacement option is a logical conclusion of my path at the moment. My plans now are to rest and recharge. A lot happened this year, and no matter how it sounds, life and various situations influenced my game results and the team's, so everything is logical. I wish the team and the organization all the best, may your results be even better than they were and all your goals be achieved. It might be hard at first, maybe not, who knows - a major overhaul always takes time, so please give the team that time (this is an appeal to the fans!).

And I'll go work on myself. It's New Year's now, no decisions, and we'll see each other on streams later. Maybe I'll manage to comment on matches and try myself in different fields before the summer. And then we'll see if it's worth continuing to play or not.

The thing is that no one player can have the entire team's success on their shoulders or they will crumble beneath the weight of that sort of pressure.
Especially a player that is still as young Donk is, which I believe he is 18 years of age. Because he started so young joining the professional circuit at 16 back in 2023 with the main squad of Team Spirit right after being on their Academy team when he was just 14.
He still has many years to go in playing professional CounterStrike so this would be considered a learning process for him.

This kind of mentality is for someone who truly wants to win. If any other team presents a minimally good offer with other high-level players, he will almost certainly leave without thinking twice. Spirit should be careful, but I think the contract must have a large buyout clause.

I think this team is going to fall apart any minute now, especially if Donk decides to do it. Because if he leaves, the team loses a lot. Spirit is trying to get some new players and make a splash, but they're achieving the complete opposite. What do you think about their team?
