It's an expected downgrade for G2, but it's unfortunate for the other members because they probably didn't expect to lose some of their best teammates within several months, and it'll be an uphill battle to maintain their rankings in the VRS.

So essentially G2 Esports are a hollowed out team without an awper to support the core players on their roster.
Wouldn't you agree? Once Hunter and Snax leave then they don't have anything since Hades is on loan so not a root player.

Tomorrow PGL Wallachia starts with Season 4 and I was curious how many Dota 2 tournaments we have this year and you know what I found ? The only month where Dota 2 is not having a tournament is August because it's the break for The International but beside that , we literally going from tournament to tournament with small breaks of 1 week.

CS2 doesn't have anything similar to this and this is why Dota 2 is having bigger prize pool than any game in Esports right now.

I didn't know that for a fact but thanks for that trivia. There are a lot of tournaments going on for the next month as well. And this is why we all like this in dota 2 because there is almost no rest for every year that passes by. Even last year, there were a lot of tournaments and add to it the regional qualifiers and I think that this is a good thing that Valve did instead of having only invited teams to participate.

CS2 doesn't have anything similar to this and this is why Dota 2 is having bigger prize pool than any game in Esports right now.  

I'm not sure with CS2 but compared to the prize pool too, it's considerably lower than dota 2. But I think that it will get to that point that it will be at par.

According to Liquipedia, there was total of 10 Tier 1 tournaments after TI 2024 and another 4 planned Tier 1 tournaments to go before TI 2025. PGL Wallachia season 2 was listed as tier 2 despite having $1M prizepool so probably an error on Liquipedia so there should be total of 15 on this season alone not counting all those tier 2 and tier 3 tournaments

Yeah this is a pretty good year for dota2. I honestly thought everything will just fall downward after TI prizepool keep on getting lower amount each year

I agree. This is a good year for dota 2 and all of the qualifying teams that have been working tirelessly just to get qualified with these tier 1 teams.

To be honest, those that gave been so good are not guaranteed anymore when they do not get a direct invite and it is a points system basis. They know it that these minor and unknown teams can also beat them.

I also think that putting the eyes on prize is being open to every tournament that has a huge large pool bot only getting focused to TI anymore.

Yep, that's the current state of their squad. I'd say Hunter and Malbs are the next best players on the current roster, even if Snax leaves, I still think they can manage.

Ahh thats probably a plausible explanation. Yeah I thought it was some error on Liquipedia's end but I doubt that site will actually make an obvious error like that. Well still with 14 $1M prizepool tournament in a year plus $3M on Esports World Cup later on, this is a very good year for dota2.

Im not really sure with the comparison of total prizepool in cs2 but I doubt that cs2 is less than dota2. Cs2 has been getting quite the spotlight since last year and their fanbase are actually growing last year compared to dota2

Cs2 has great sponsors but the prize pools for tournaments are actually inferior compared to Dota2 by a lot and this won't change in the near future because Gaben really loves Dota2 more than Cs2. Remember when Gaben used to initiate The International almost every year live ? He still does it but last years we was there with just a video ...but this doesn't take away his love for Dota2.

CounterStrike players get paid more than DOTA2 players for certain. As we have recently seen with m0nesy.
Has there been a player in DOTA ever been sought after than a CounterStrike player from another team that they can actually can afford to transfer over with paying such a premium?

Sure I can see the prize pools being alot more for DOTA2 than CounterStrike tournaments but that has to be due to the teams sponsorships and investment contracts and does not reply on prize money to be able to pay some of these CS2 players salaries.

BB Team bounced back on map two, but Tidebound closed things out on map three. I almost thought BB Team got it in the bag once Tidebound let the PA carry through, and unfortunately, they're ready for it.

Team Edge beating Xtreme Gaming in the other series was the biggest upset of the day. Picking void carry for Ame was already a bad move, and it only got worse once they had to deal with Edge's early game lineup.

BB Team bounced back on map two, but Tidebound closed things out on map three. I almost thought BB Team got it in the bag once Tidebound let the PA carry through, and unfortunately, they're ready for it.

Team Edge is Team Mosquito from Peru I think but they already in huge problems for Wallachia because their CEO is rumored to place bets on the game today and participate into rigged games so I won't be surprised if they will be d/q tomorrow and for the next tournaments as well. Funny that this 322 scandal involved no ones else than Ame's team once again ...like this guy can't catch a break no matter how many team changes.

Was watching a bit of Team Liquid vs Nigma earlier and that was a great match!

I also watched their series, and the second game was absolute cinema. I thought Nigma could force a third game after winning consecutive clashes, but Team Liquid tried to gamble with that all in push because Nigma's carry made a costly buyback several minutes ago.

This is bad if this rumor tend to be true. I don't understand these people, they've got teams and maybe this has been their bread and butter somewhere in every region. Despite this, I'm still putting my faith on them and trust them still because of many teams and orgs are still honest.

It's because Team Falcons are complete with malrine not with the last tournament that they have participated, Quinn stand in for malrine. Although he's also good with the team and with the standing that Team Liquid has for the upcoming The International, they already have a secured spot but we will see, there are still a lot of games to come for them.

I also love how Aurora is playing man...always on the edge and you really never know if they will win or they will trow which is crazy!   but nevertheless , it's not a great idea to place bets on them.

Aurora will be against Team Spirit, old teammates are going to face each other. Torontokyo and mira facing their old buddies. It's an interesting one.

After seeing them play a bit shaky against Nigma Galaxy I kind of knew they'll struggle against whoever they play next. Their roster still have what it takes to produce results once they're locked in, but for now I think they're on chill mode.

Unexpected to see Heroic as one of the few teams sitting in the 0-2 bracket.

They've faced good teams already and it's going to be sad for the SA region if Heroic and the other team from that region won't make it to the playoffs, Edge. But it seems that Edge is what might people would count for but with the issue of its CEO, I don't think that many will bet for them anymore.

Team Tidebound beat Nigma Galaxy yesterday for the PGL tournament in Romania.
Surprised by this result since Nigma were doing so well in the last match I watched with them versus Liquid.

Did anybody foresee this team doing so well in Wallachia season 4?
