Really good documentary of how Falcons got from there to where they are now with just buying up other team's star players but not doing so well without that team cohesion needed to make a championship level squad in Esports.

This is common in esports, this is also how the teams are earning money from their players. Buying out their contracts are one of the lucrative ways to earn a lot of money there. The same thing has done in dota 2 that there were teams have bought contracts and rights for their players and some teams have even sold their actual team slots for tournaments. Well, this is part of the business and if NaVi is also a losing team in cs2, the same goes for their dota 2 roster.

But doing it across to other esport leagues is something different altogether.

It was crazy how Parivision nearly got that game when most of their damage came from Satanic's NP, but it quickly backfired when they tried to force a clash in the midlane instead of ratting the remaining barracks to secure megas.

Also, in a few days, it looks like we have another CS2 tournament (Blast Rivals) with a bunch of top teams participating, and Group B could get spicy with Falcons and Spirit likely fighting for that top seed.

One million is a huge prize to receive and basically a bonus since it was ontop of what they have won for that tournament. But understandable since it was the final tournament of the grand slam season.
Vitality does deserve it and still goes to show Falcons that buying up all the best talent doesn't necessarily mean instant trophies through out the year.

Blast Rivals does sound new and possibly a rebranding from a tournament since reitired.
But glad they will be kicking it off soon.

I agree, they should have seen that strat worked and they should end the game with that style but well, a mistake and a crucial match that is infuriating their minds, it's more of a game of patience and Team Liquid has it.

Their series delivered, and Team Falcons managed to secure the other semifinal spot. With how the brackets look, i'm starting to think this would be another Vitality vs. Falcons final unless Mouz or Team Spirit steps up.

Mouz curse with "Auraless" team continues and let's be honest ...they really lack aura on that team and also don't have a superstar who could lift them up a bit because no matter how great their players are ...they simply cannot catch to CS2 public and that is enough to not be a great team.

Now , we must congratulate Vitality for having 24 consecutive winnings and if they win tomorrow they will officially chase for Astralis 28 one but I have a feeling they won't top that just because that team of 2018 Astralis was something from another world and no matter how hard Vitality tries ...they are not Astralis and most likely they will fall at 27.

I agree with you. While most of their players are in the top 20 rankings, the roster lacks a superstar who can elevate them even further, like how m0NESY suddenly gave Team Falcons a breath of fresh air.

That was a great grand final!
Watched the first map where Falcons were looking sharp but then they lost the next two 6-13.
Started watching the third map where Falcons were up 12-3 but Vitality ended up making a match of it bringing it into OT. But ended up losing it because m0nesy's last two kills. He was the star of the match along with Zywoo.

After being tied 2-2 the final map was hammered at 11-8 after Falcons got confused of where they went with the bomb and ended up fumbling it all up.
That put the nail in their coffin and Team Vitality won it.

They have been outstanding all year long so far in these clutch matches.
