Am I mistaken or did a compac f hit a solo block with a 35.5t share?
If so It means it is a verified solo mining stick.

Yes 1 did, check -ck's solo pool thread about it. And yes, that means it is verified the updated cgminer Kano did for it works as expected. Too bad certain dev-fee ripoffs of cgminer (or BoS which is clean code) cannot/will not provide the same irrefutable proof their software works.

Yes. I was the incredibly lucky lottery winner on CK's Pool with 9 x Compaq F's running on 3 separate ICONE usb hub with 120W. You can't find the ICONE hubs anymore and sipolar ones don't get it done. what do you mean the sipolar don't get it done, its 5v to each usb isn't it? Brovss does the same.... I've tested the USB 2.0 hub and got no where near 2.1A stable on just 3 sticks. On the Sipolar forget the 5V that's not going to stay at 5V if you're young to overclock plus they crap out at 2.3Amps. Again, one tested and this is not enough to really get a solid overclock on the Compac F's like you see in my picture above. So if you get a weakly powered hub they will go into protection at the levels you and reset the Compac F's while mining which will eventually and uncontrollably drop your hash rate. Hope that helps.

Brovss does the same.... I've tested the USB 2.0 hub and got no where near 2.1A stable on just 3 sticks.
On the Siplor gorget the 5V that's not going to stay at 5V if you're young to overclock plus they crap out at 2.3Amps. Again one tested and this is not enough to really get a solid overclock on the Compac F's like you see in my picture above.
So if you get a weakly powered hub they will go into protection at the levels you and reset the Compac F's while mining which will eventually and uncontrollably drop your hash rate.

Unfortunately, I think right now GekkoScience is the only way to go. I looked a lot (and tried some) and nothing worked well enough. Even hubs traditionally known for mining sticks such as this type probably won't suffice, because so far stick miners pulled way less current. This high current requirement is kind of new, since the Compac F to my knowledge is the first one to pull almost 3A or 15W from one port. I think this is even outside of official USB spec; hence any non-mining-specific products won't really cut it. Nonetheless, it seems the person who recently found a block with these, runs 3 miners on a single BitcoinMerch 10 port hub. Keep in mind this only delivers 120W, so 12W per port or 2.4A, which is still within USB spec. However you won't get the F's full potential if you limit it to 2.4 Amps. I actually had the 4port version of the hub from this kit and it didn't work well, even though it should have been able to deliver 2.4A to at least one port. So I'm not saying the 7-port version will not work, just to be careful. It uses BC 1.2 spec to deliver 2.4A, just as the 7-port version; and from my knowledge in BC 1.2 the device needs to 'ask' the hub for the full wattage (which mining sticks don't do). It seems if you want to use one of the typical 2.4A hubs, you will not be able to put more than half the amount of theoretical maximum devices into it due to power limitations. What I mean: often the hubs are advertised as: "2.4A 10-port hub" but only come with e.g. a 20W power supply. In that case, you would only be able to power a single of those 10 ports with 2.4A. Meanwhile, I believe you can put 7 Compac F's into the GekkoScience hub (but you need of course around 100W PSU - hub comes without one). Otherwise I'm not sure why @Sledge0001 chose not to put all 9 miners into a single hub. I mean in theory its 120W should suffice.

AsicPuppy is where I got some of my sticks from and they ship quickly. Also 419Mining.com is where I picked up others. As for the hub I can't comment since i have never used one of their hubs. Best of luck.

I have the 9 sticks running across 3 hubs to be clear. 3 Sticks per hubs and the ICONE hubs are delivering up to 3.2A per port when only 3 are run on a single hub as seen here: I haven't been able to get more than 3 to run at that speed on these hubs

We decided to stock up on hubs when we launched these sticks because we knew people would want them, but we got bit by the chip shortage and some other things that slowed down production. I'm working on a redesign of the hub that'll provide the same quality of power but that's easier to manufacture. We're also investing in some new tooling to help speed things up. Stock of things in 2022 should be more regular than what we've seen this past year.

6 coins is nice. sell 2 pay the tax and hold the other 4. If usa based. It is a good plan. Oh BTW Some irony in that former creators of cgminer are united by this stick. If not for kano's software If not for ck's pool sledge0001 would not have the BTCkind of funny that honey badger shows no favorites. To Reconcilations.

Oh, that's interesting. Another hub that can deliver +3A per port? I didn't know this one. Maybe if you can send a link for anyone interested it would be nice, since 'ICONE USB hub' doesn't yield many results. However, only 3 sticks per hub is a little bit of a bummer. Then it's indeed better value to get GekkoSciences which you can completely fill up. Also for the record, the Compac F isn't the first stickminer to pull 15 watts. Interesting; I know this hub has been around for a while, but didn't know that 2Pac and NewPac can pull these currents, since they're often sold with low-power hubs in a bundle, from what I've seen.

The Compac regulator we designed for the first stick in 2015 was built to run 0.8 volts 17 amps; the 2Pac used it for 1.6 volts and the NewPac used it for around 0.86V and this stick uses it for about 1.5V
We designed the hub to run 3A per port because we knew our sticks were made to pull 15 watts. The Compac wasn't really capable of it without modification but as a single-chip stick, 10 watts or so was a practical max anyway. But every stick after that could do the juice. We've used the exact same regulator circuit, changing only the parts needed to set the voltage range, from the beginning.

You have think to add a way to send directly 3.3v or 5v on your stick without take power from USB and use USB just for data ? They are powerful and efficient industrial power supply for low voltage and huge current.
