Wow....this is crazy...so from what I understand the BTC for the two factor coins has been lost thru MTGOX all these years since 2014 and nothing was said about it?

I am at a loss for words on why this was not revealed so many years ago. Was he hoping on making back the lost BTC thru newer coin sales?

This rabbit hole is getting deeper and darker  Roll Eyes

I'm starting the process of collecting owners info to get payouts made quickly for those that want the payout now.

Please DM me here or email tim@titanbtc.com to get that started.  Thank you in advance for your patience.

For those that are wanting to hold tight until more assets are available, I'll be formalizing a community of owners and will be working on creative ways to reduce the shortfall as much as possible.

I'm not hitting the eject button unless I'm legally obligated to do so.  I'll keep communicating as much as I can as the efforts to improve the situation solidify.  This forum isn't the best vehicle for that communication so please do DM me or email me to get on the list of owners receiving updates

I still want my 1btc payout from the "not yet funded" token that I peeled in 2016, Tim. You robbed me and I contacted the police and filed a police report over it, remember? Back then it was only a misdemeanor, but it seems that now you are looking at grand theft and wire fraud federal charges too. I have actually been considering writing an article shaming the SEC for going after Cascascius, but ignoring your crooked ass for so long even with people out millions of dollars showing up at FBI field offices pleading for a criminal prosecution.

> from what I understand the BTC for the two factor coins has been lost thru MTGOX all these years since 2014 and nothing was said about it?

This would not surprise me. Tim never showed proof that those coins were funded at all. I think he was day-trading with the "reserve" and lost it all, and then started coming up with excuses for why he wouldn't have to pay them back, like his claims of database corruption regarding the funding status of 2FA coins, like he did to me, as an excuse not to redeem my coin.

Hi - is there a way to see coin value based on QR at the back? (PK)
= prove that it's "funded" - now that old Titanbts is no more and Titanmint does nothing!
Satpile - that was mentioned above doesn't work on iph ..
would be a shame to peel just to confirm ..
Thx,

Well, ofc you cannot know if the private key correctly corresponds with the public key (QR code on coin) - however there are no known cases of this not being the case.
So you could just scan the QR code and enter the displayed public address into a Bitcoin block explorer, for example: https://blockchair.com/
You would see if there are still "spendable output(s)" available with your balance or if these are swiped. If the explorer cannot find the address it means it was never loaded and thus cannot be found on the blockchain.
All that said, for now I believe there are no known issues with private-key Titan bits.

This is from an email I received last Thursday (8/10):

Hi,

This email is a confirmation that you have been invited to the next webinar in the series as Titan works to resolve the current shortfall of assets.  The next event will be on August 15th, 2023 at 4pm Pacific Time (GMT -7).

Titan Mint founder Tim Fillmore will provide updates and answer questions on the progress toward facilitating redemption of Titan Coins.

This and future webinars are by invitation only and access is limited to current owners of Titan Coins.

All invitees will receive an invitation link on Monday, August 14th, 2023 that will allow them to access the webinar.

For those unable to attend the live webinar, a recording will be sent out to everyone on this list after the event.

If you are not an owner of a Titan Mint product, or believe you may have received this email in error, please unsubscribe by clicking the link below.

Wont' work anymore - Tim swept all the coin 2fa coin addresses not long ago. I believe the txid was posted in the thread here but I cannot find it. I also have a video copy of the last webinar someone posted. 48 cents on the dollar for a dudes screwup in 2014? wtflol

the 9 years lost is maybe the worst part (opportunity loss). If this was dealt with quickly, say 2016, buyer could have recouped with bitcoin runup.

Beware of scammers. I will never discuss the sale of Collectibles on Telegram or any other messaging client outside the forum.

Regarding your upcoming novella to the SEC regarding Casascius coins, scratch that idea as it was FinCen who told Mike to knock it off.

So how do you do it ? when reading QR it doesn’t capture=does nothing  !  ..   and 8 dig code below is “invalid address” ! ?
since qr on coin was too small to scan i scan enlarged clear picture (if that makes a diff.  )  Frustrating .

2019: Leaders of CFTC, FinCEN, and SEC Issue Joint Statement on Activities Involving Digital Assets

https://www.sec.gov/news/public-statement/cftc-fincen-secjointstatementdigitalassets

The Joint Statement clarified that all activities involving digital assets have responsibilities under the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) to maintain legally sufficient anti-money laundering policies and procedures as well as countering the financing of terrorism. Further, the SEC, FinCEN, and the CTFC work together to coordinate efforts to prevent criminal financial activity.

So... Here's what is likely to happen. EVENTUALLY the FBI and SEC/FINSEC will wake up and likely indict Tim Fillmore. Any monies he disperses from now until then can and likely will be considered "stolen or missallocated funds" and may be "clawed back" from anyone they were dispersed to, in federal criminal court. That's why I'm warning people to seek recourse through the courts, because if you take any funds directly through Tim, you could be liable to "clawback" of those funds by a criminal court in the future.

From the linked Wired article:

> According to FINCEN, Caldwell needs to rethink his business. "They considered my activity to be money transmitting,"

So, it's clear that Titan Bitcoin was operating as an illegal money transmitter for YEARS, and they could now be liable to felony charges and HUGE federal fines (on the order of $100k fine for every violation, meaning every coin sold), and restrictions on any future activity in the financial space. It's clear that Titan Bitcoin was an illegal operation at the Federal level from day 1 and they flaunted the law. So if you deal with Tim, you will be dealing with a known money launderer, basically. I would suggest you NOT do that, and whenever Tim gives you a way to contact him, you should include that in your FBI complaints, because I think Tim is "on the run" from the law right now, facing criminal complaints at both state and federal levels.

Tim's profile now advertises titanbtc.com, a BROKEN link to a site that advertises TUITION ASSISTANCE. He's running another scam, already, lol. You guys are dealing with a known scammer who ran a known illegal scam, whose profile points to a broken link scam site. Just go to law enforcement instead.

Thanks ! - so tried blockchaire  QR scan (on pic of QR from back of Titan)- and it said  “Oops! couldn’t
find …  “ ! ?    -what does this mean ?  When Tim’s website was on it read correct value!  Is it now lost/empty ??  Im quite sure it’s PK (how to know for sure ?).  Wondered if whoever put real PK code under sticker could use/transfer it out later ? That would be horrible  Sad

Interestingly, the WHOIS data for titanbtc.com actually points directly to a residential address in La Habra, CA. For anyone who needs it for a police / SEC complaint.

Hey Tim why are you hocking TuitionManager, a product of Tuition.io, at your site titanbtc.com now? I contacted the CEO of Tuition.io to ask about it, for you.

Again, this will not work, stop wasting your time, the 2FA coins were swept/moved a while back.

Everyone might want to check blockchain as it looks like a bunch was moved 11/15/22 all to the same address

https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/bc1qx6u6v7xxx9q7l42wr3vx6e28c2ftkj8220vruu

FYI, looks like they were moved again. Huh

Was there a second "webinar", or has anyone gotten a satoshi yet?

Hi - is there a way to see coin value based on QR at the back? (PK)
= prove that it's "funded" - now that old Titanbts is no more and Titanmint does nothing!
Satpile - that was mentioned above doesn't work on iph ..
would be a shame to peel just to confirm ..
Thx,
A.

Just to comment on the remark concerning satpile - it works on my iphone fine. I have at least 100 various collectibles and their public addresses

So how do you do it ? when reading QR it doesn’t capture=does nothing  !  ..   and 8 dig code below is “invalid address” ! ?
since qr on coin was too small to scan i scan enlarged clear picture (if that makes a diff.  )  Frustrating .

If the qr code is too small you can use your phones camera to “read” the QR text and copy it and then paste it into the app or you can enter the first bits (the 8 chars under the qr code) into mempool.space and it should populate the full address and then you can use the qr code there.
