I have heard that the relationship between Deschamps and Benzema isn't good these days. @Sithara007 while you’re discussing about Messi and Mbappe you’ll conveniently forgot about Benzema, and if he turns up then France will have the upper hand. Furthermore Messi can definitely inspire his team, but in the end I feel that France are stronger and can definitely defeat Messi’s Argentina and the only way Argentina can win is if they can neutralise France attacking player’s but I doubt that they can stop them from scoring goals.

Yeah, and I've seen a news that Macron wants him in the Finals against Argentina but that has no basis lately considering Deschamps just turn down that question when asked by the press, if they aren't doing well then letting him back will just create a discord on Deschamps mind. It is true that Argentina depends heavily on Messi in order to win but at the same time I think this is not as notorious as it was during some of the previous world cup editions, also I can see why people think that France should be the favorite over Argentina due to the incredible talent of the French players and they also have been the team which has played the best soccer during the world cup, but I think Argentina can equalize with their experience and their ability to play well with or without the ball.

I do not agree with this that Messi is a one man show for the Argentina team. The whole Argentina unit is playing like a team and they have many good players like  Martinez and Fernandez.

After their defeat against Saudia Arabia, the Argentina team has come strong and they look better and better in every match. I am sensing that this might be the Messi's world cup. If Argentina could not win this one with this team, i wonder when and how they will ever win the world cup

Well, one man might not be an island, yet Argentina is playing like a team too. I guess you are distracted by what some people are saying by calling out Messi at all times. But frankly, Messi has not done better than many other people in the Argentine team, so it's not only about Messi as far as I am concerned. For Argentina to have defeated a team like Brazil in Copa Ameria, I believe they are a good contender against France.

And unless France is better than what they played against Croatia, they might be defeated by Argentina.

I think that you shall rewatch whole of match of argentina again. Messi was not even playing alone and just because he has made biggest controbution and it doens't mean if he will be the only one who played for argentina. Argentina is all about Lionel Messi and his performance others players are good too but not as compared to French , Messi contribution to the victory and game is clear and the way he assisted in semi-final is worth mentioning so let's see how things will be in final for them.

No doubt Messi contributed enormously to Argentina's victory against Croatia. but I wouldn't play blind at the dirty work done by De Paul, and Paredes. If you review the match against Australia and Croatia, you will see that These two machines worked tirelessly in the midfield. They did more of the marking which helped in winning back the ball quickly from the opponent. I believe a team with few goal scorers and many men that can mark and win back the ball is better than a team with many stars who can score and dribble but fewer ball winners. In comparison, Argentina is the former while France is the latter.
