Harry Kane's failure to execute the second penalty kick was only due to unlucky factors. Forget about Kane, players at Messi's level also failed to do well. So that's not a problem. If Harry Kane's penalty kick in the last 5 minutes of the match was successful, then we believe France has a chance of not going through.
France's passage to the semifinals against Morocco is also an interesting match.

Could be difference result later if Hary Kane success with his second penalty kick, but England have eliminated at World Cup in quarter final and another failure for longer time can't be the winner in World Cup. Morocco success make new history with first African national team lead until semifinal.

I want to see how longer with Morocco make us surprised after beating many bigger top national team in World Cup 2022, actually many fans can't forget when Morocco success eliminating Portugal are favorite national team in World Cup, although France more favorite not easy beating Morocco have one goal conceded in World Cup until 5 mathces.

I don't know what to say... It should have been easy to bet in the group stage, but even then we had upsets like Cameroon winning again Brazil, Germany losing to Japan and so on. I think that this World Cup has shown everyone that there are no more easy wins and that every team is beatable. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised with Croatia and Morocco playing advancing to the final.

Morocco in the semi finals and may be in finals, I don't think France will beat Morocco as their strategy and technique of game is very good and Defense too. So let's see how things turn up .

In today's match, I bet on Argentina's promotion. This is the most surprising world cup that I have ever watched, teams you never expect to perform well are the teams leading and making stars in this top teams to cry.  We still have more surprises to see in the quarter-finals,  no one knows what will be the result of the games.

The under rated nations have been showing their great performance during the world cup. That's just like morocco, japan and south korea which has been showing the good performance to beat some strong clubs. I think that we will see another surprise to come from morocco. It's caused by the performance against from strong nations already made people amazed with it. Ziyech has become the key player for morocco. It seems like he will become the key against france.

Maybe the underrated teams are not actually bad, but we just underrated them because of our ignorance towards them. I mean look at Morocco, they are at semi-finals and some of the odds showed them not even being able to go out of group stages possibly, and Germany didn't as well so that means nobody would have been shocked if Morocco didn't neither, and yet they are in semi-finals.

Does that mean they were bad and somehow won, or they were already good but we didn't know how good they were? Underrated is a good word, they are rated under who they are, but that's our mistake and not their achievement, they were already good, we just didn't know.

Messi has just scored a penalty and finally Argentina found just the goal they wanted early in the match. Livakovic really didn't have anything to do against that penalty. Argentina weren't able to play the game they wanted before this goal actually. Croatia were doing really good just as they did against Brazil. Well Croatia didn't totally gave up although it seems hard for them to get a draw..
There was a good attempt at the end of the first half time started with Modric shot but wasn't successful.

The second goal was absolutely a very lucky one for Argentina. Alvarez was like a magnet for the ball as the Croatia defenders couldn't prevent Alvarez from getting into the penalty area with the ball. Alvarez has been the most impressive player of his team so far in my opinion. Because thanks to him they won a penalty and he scored the second goal also. Messi's performance until now has also been very good. He is playing fully concentrated on the World Cup title from now on. I wasn't expecting Argentina to obtain a big advantage this early.

Livakovic has still been doing his best and he has been successful so far by some saves. Oliver Kahn has been among the spectators for two matches and it is said that he has been watching Livakovic for a possible transfer to Bayern Munich after Neuer's injury.

Agreed. I don't think Croatia can come back in this game like they did against Brazil, they are playing well but Argentina is doing a very good job in their attack and they are not allowing the Croatian strikers to penetrate their box which will be the only way for them to get a goal in this match. Croatian players are coming out no doubt but Argentina players are targeting them on canter-attack which we have witnessed more than twice and Messi is having a great night this night as he has been seen moving around with the ball even as he wasted a beautiful chance that was created for him to score to make it 3:0 to end the game.

I didn't expect that Argentina could win more than 1 goal, I thought it would be a boring match with another penalty shoot-out, but Argentina played well from start to finish, 3 goals without reply and Croatia let Argentina into the final, I remember the moment of the world cup In 2018, Argentina was slaughtered 3 goals by Croatia without reply and now Argentina is responding, an epic revenge event

They cut the single passes, they cut the intermediate balls, they closed the edges and the center very well. I'm baffled as to how Croatia got all the way to the semi-finals. Let's admit they played infamous football against Argentina. I think Argentina's possible opponent in the final will be France. Their job is very difficult against France in the final. They are physically superior to Argentina. If Morocco knocks out France they're also pretty good physically but France will most likely knock out Morocco with their individual skills.

It appears to be so simple, but it was all worth it in the end. I expected more from Croatia than what they played against Argentina. I believe Modric's World Cup dream, as one of their star players, has come to an end today, as this may be his final World Cup appearance. Everyone has different ways, many are probably puzzled how, after the terrible first two rounds of the group stage, the Argentine national team managed to get all the way to the final Each team may not have its own day and it is obvious that Croatia had exactly this case today. 2-0 after the first half in favor of the Argentina national team broke all the scenarios that the Croatian national team probably counted on. Also, I would not rush to talk about knockouts, because Morocco is a strong team that has not just yet lost a single match at the tournament, unlike France, but also conceded only one goal during the entire tournament, which is an autogall. Therefore, if Croatia failed to beat the favorite, then why couldn't Morocco have done it?

After they conceded the first goal (in the form of penalty) the Croatian players lost hope and their morale was down. And this explains the large victory margin for Argentina. It was a very tough match and till the first goal was scored by Messi during the 34th minute, both the teams were equally placed with neither of the teams dominating the other. But after the penalty kick, the situation changed and Julián Álvarez managed to score the second goal in just five minutes time. And after that, the Croatian players simply gave up.

Seem like not fault on Croatia, but Brazil player playing bad at that time. So when I look who they play last night, Croatia still play the same as they meet Brazil, but the opponent for this time is better the coordination and have 1 person be the control theam, Messi. So, I believe when Meet Brazil last night Argentina will win the match also because they play well, not because the opponent played badly. Now, the golden age generation Croatia was over, maybe we can see that team again for long time.
