It seems we won't identify the qualifiers of most groups till the 3rd round of group stage, that adds more excitment to this tournament. Japan had big chance to ensure their moving to the next round as Costa Rica looked to be the weakest team in the group, but they missed it. I'm just watching the game between Belgium and Morocco and again Belgium are struggling a lot in the game, similar to how they did against Canada.
Honestly, I expected much more from this national team, third from the world championship in Russia, but against Canada they won undeservedly and they are also struggling against Morocco.
Croatia also played badly against Morocco and now they have a very difficult match against Canada.
Allegedly, the first Croatian striker Kramaric will be replaced by Livaja. We will see if it will help the Croatian national team today.

Belgium poor performance in the first game proved that its a beatable team so it was not a surprise for me to see them lose, canada team is playing really good football but in my opinion croatia team has a much better defense and canada team won't have much goal chances as they did against belgium so they need to make it count and score from the first opportunity they get and not repeat the first game mistake.

Instead of expecting Morocco to win, it turned out that I was quite lucky because I really wanted Belgium to fall under Morocco game. Belgium from the start was too busy with matters outside of football and they weren't really focused on the world cup this time. If you find out then surely find the reason. With this Moroccan victory, at least it will make it difficult for Belgium to get away with it easily because facing Croatia is definitely not an easy game.

The quick goals scored by the Canadian squad made this match very interesting. this match presented a game with high tension, both teams really went all out to win this battle. unfortunately, the Canadian squad struggled to withstand the onslaught of Croatian players after they took a 1-0 lead. and in the end Croatia was able to turn things around to become an advantage for them the score turned 2-1.

Croatia was able to comeback, got up and continued to play very aggressively. uniquely, only 8 minutes difference Croatia was able to score 2 goals. if Canada loses in this match, then they certainly will not qualify for the next round. Like it or not, Canada must go all out to turn things around into a victory for them. there is still 45 minutes remaining in the second, if Canada still wants to have a chance to qualify. they had to turn things around and overthrow Croatia.
however, I am optimistic, Croatia will add to its goals in the second half and the final result, victory belongs to Croatia.

Spain have finally scored the goal to get ahead. Morata scored the goal and it was really a great finishing touch by him. Morata just seems better with the national team jersey. I mean he is more productive about scoring goals. Maybe performing good here can fire him up in his league matches as well after the World Cup finishes. After the goal Spain have started to find more spaces in Germany defense. Because Germany have no other choice than taking more risks.

Germany have played really rough against Spain so far as you can understand from the amount of yellow cards as well. But this is still not enough to stop Spain. If this match ends with Spain's victory then it will be too difficult for Germany to move on in the tournament.

Germans have a horrible job left to do, and that's going to be a very tough job. If Spain ends up with 9 points, which means beating Japan and that should be easy, that means Japan will be left with just 3 points which was German win, lose to Costa Rica and Spain, Costa Rica would have just one win, which is Japan, and Germany would have just one win which is Costa Rica.

I am guessing that all tied three a piece would result with a trouble for Germany, Costa Rica will be last because of that 7-0 game, but Japan could be a trouble, Germany would need to win with a big margin to make sure that they are doing fine, and it is not impossible but they dug themselves into a hole there.
