In today's first match, Netherlands vs USA, I'm betting on the Netherlands to win. The game of the Dutch may not impress, but they advanced without losing a match in their group. The USA team was trembling for the promotion until the last seconds of the match against Iran. Cameroon surprised the world tonight. Being the first African nation to beat Brazil in the World Cup. This is a historic win for Africa. They  put up a dog fight against Brazil and won the game. They didn't make it to the next round but I’m super proud of their performance. If they had put up this kind of performance in their first game against Switzerland, they would have stand a chance tonight to qualify for the next round. Kudos to them.

You are right. Cameroon has retained their traditions. The Brazil coach thought his new XI could easily defeat Cameroon, but it was not to be. Cameroon beat Brazil as usual. Although Brazil went through to the next round, it was a humiliating loss for them.

I have never considered the United States team as people that are contenders to lift the prestigious World Cup.  I only know that they used to be resistant to other countries in the group match, where they will decide to draw the match instead of to lose outrightly. As a matter of fact they have the record of the most country to draw in the World Cup so they pay good attention to their defence. I am surprised that they are able to conceive two goals in the first half which is for their record. I don't think they have chances to survive, this is not group stage

Didn't think anyone would say Netherlands was just in luck, even though since the Netherlands started to revive at that time at least their gameplay was also fully improved and of course Netherlands is not only about luck but also the great effort it has made. I agree with your comment about the mistakes in the defense of the USA football team. Especially, the players playing on the left wing of the USA football team were very ineffective today. The Netherlands made many attacks from this region and scored their goals from this region. Dumfries stood out in the game with 2 assists and 1 goal, but we must say that the USA football players gave him this opportunity. I am coming back to this because I said it earlier and some users thought I was never going to happen. As a matter of fact Netherlands was comfortably ahead in the first half with 2 goals. Sadly, my expectation of Gakpo finding the back of the net in this games didn't happen. Maybe next game. I will say it again, the Netherlands is the strongest team in the World cup and will most likely be in the finals. On the other hand we know that Australia is going to give Argentina a run for their money. That team is damn resilient.
