it's funny to me that this is a big deal, what is alcohol going to bring or add to the world cup ? Absolutely nothing, it probably would reduce some crazy acts from drunk people and that's it, I think it will run just fine in Qatar without alcohol, it won't affect it at all.

We need to remember that a soccer match at the end of the day is nothing more but a form of entertainment, so while having a beer at the stadium or not makes no difference at all, at the same time if a person cannot have the fun they want watching their favorite sport then is it worth it to spend all of that money to go to Qatar, pay for an overpriced hotel room and tickets for the game? Not only alcohol, but the country will not tolerate many acts involving homosexuality and lesbianism. I believe it is not appropriate to impose such strict regulations, even considering that they are hosting a world tournament.

If this is some true news, it will be discouraging to some individuals to travel and because of this, some of them who know that they cannot watch the match live while with their bottle of alcohol, will decide to just stay back at their homes to just watch the game, lesser expenses for them. I can't tell exactly how many people watched the last world cup live, but these kind of news spoils it all.

As a simple example: if you have a rule in your house that guests are not allowed to sleep in your private room, then if it is violated, will the guest be punished? not much different. We have diversity and Qatar's rules existed before the world cup.

We know that Qatar is not a strong team. Even then I wouldn't be at all surprised if Qatar could qualify for the next round. The main two strong teams in Group A are Netherlands and Senegal. It is expected that these two teams will qualify for the next round. But the Senegal team is without their key player Sadio Mane. And I don't think Senegal will do well without Sadio Mane. And so Qatar has a good chance of qualifying for the next round with home advantage. Also, we have seen in almost every World Cup that the home teams get a bit more advantage.

The united states will be in the world cup with one of the youngest teams, I don't sincerely think the united states can win it, but it will be interesting to see how far the team can get. How you can sure if Ecuador will throw the first half? you wouldn't see if the match is either match fixing or not since they will try to avoid anyone know it (if the rumors is come true). Also if Qatar will win the first match, it doesn't mean they're did 100% match fixing, not all favorited team will always win especially in football, there's a miracle chance could happen.

I don't care if it's match fixing or not, but sooner or later we will know if the rumors is really true or not, FIFA isn't a small organization and can't hire few detective about this case.

I often see predictions like this on Google searches and even animals participate in predictions for world cup matches, I think there's nothing wrong with enlivening this world cup with their respective predictions, although I'm not sure Brazil will reach the final

Ah no problem with this, actually we used to have Paul the Octopus who lived in an aquarium at Sea Life Centers, Oberhausen, Germany. He became famous because he succeeded in predicting many football matches, especially for the German national team at the 2010 World Cup which was held in South Africa.

I don't know if Qatar can score in the first half, but I think they have a good opportunity to beat Ecuador in this game. But judging by the statistics of the last five games where Ecuador haven't conceded a goal, I wouldn't bet on this match. Ecuador is not a weak team and if they don't win, they could easily draw.
