The penalty truely ruined the whole game, we were having a very strong contented game that both sides were looking determined to win with Croatia having a little more momentum but everything changed after that early penalty that was givens to Argentina, and frankly speaking that wasn't a penalty. He didn't make any attempt to foul the player instead the player saw him and went towards his direction then they both collided.

Infact an incident like this also happened in the Portugal vs Morocco match in the Moroccan penalty box when Bruno fernandes (if I don't forget) was fouled by one of the Moroccan players. However, it was declared not a violation.

it will be closer for Messi to win the world cup, just one step away and with the quality of the team that Argentina has at the moment it is very possible for that.

I really liked how Argentina was playing against Croatia, scoring 3 goals against such a strong defence was impressive. The whole strategy of Croatia is not to score many goals but rather prevent the opposing team to score goals. Croatia really disappointed me in particular. The way Argentina  beats Croatia was like something else. I was having confidence on Croatia to win the match but luck was not on my side.

Argentina was far better in term of quality compared with croatia. I guess that's why croatia was losing against argentina. The quality of players can be seen from the match about how fast argentina's player when running compared with croatia players.
Any counter attack makes croatia player feel so difficult to defend from argentina. The ball possessions meant nothing. The goal already made a few times by argentina and i think that argentina was focusing about how effective the attack compared with getting big ball possessions.
