I can't even imagine how a finale like Croatia - Morocco would have been.    It would have been the most boring finale ever I presume. Thankfully we are having this matchup in the consolation match. I'm not sure about Argentina's winning percentage which you think is higher than France's. Argentina and France both have chances to win the game and I think their winning percentage is the same. There isn't much difference about these percentages, but France has a much bigger chance than Argentina.

Seriously I will want Morroco to win the third position in the world cup, Morroco have created record already, even as they couldn't qualify for final but they tried and they entertained everyone, they played a fantastic ball with France but unfortunately they couldn't score. It's a third runner up competition between them both @Croatia vs Morocco. That's how cups are played and not leagues that you have to accumulate points to lift the trophy. It's not an error but, how the game is been fixed normally.
Although, I think that's some pretty odd for Morocco. If they can replicate the same play they had with France, there chance at being the third runner up isn't far fetched. They can archive that.

As for the finals, I get it that Argentina, Fifa and even the Qatari hosts wants this trophy for L. Messi but, its very unlikely for Argentina to win this cup. I think the Moroccan strategy is wrong, the same as Croatia's strategy when they were in the semi-finals.
