Voted for Argentina just now. Quite surprised to see that they have almost 70% support. France is the defending champions and they only have around 30% of the users voting for them. I guess the absence of Pogba and Benzema had its impact on the fans. Also, a lot of the users are getting emotional, since this maybe the last world cup for Lionel Messi. He is already 35 years old and Argentina has never won a world cup since his birth. Argentina won the cup a total of 2 times - in 1978, and in 1986.

Argentina's massive support is just due to the fact that many want messi to win it and France on the other side doesn't have that kinda of Marquee player to support and some fans don't want France to do the double. Had Ronaldo's Portugal qualified it would have been even.

My only worry about this support would put a lot of pressure on both messi and Argentina.

For me this time I think they deserve it which is why I want them to win.
