Way back, the influence of social media is not that much unlike now that if there's a robbed that may take place, the noise around social media can influence the judges and the organizations decision. It can be changed or reverse or maybe can be void declaring that no one wins because of any questionable score cards.

Better to win with a huge margin or, if possible, to KO their opponents, so no questionable declaration of the winner.

Maybe one of the reason why many people are rooting for GGG  is the fact that in this fight he doesnt have a win yet. Thus fans are looking forward for him to take down Canelo especially his previous fights (before this) are a victory for him, its like he redeem himself after his loss.

but in boxing not everything is numbers and statistics, it's the real part, real life, and really even though both boxers have failed along their paths, it will be interesting to see this fight.

Yes, I think they can put on a good show, and on Canelo's side I think he is a boxer who can't stop winning, whatever he wants to win, sometimes I think Canelo wants to go in looking for a knockout, it sounds crazy , but everything is possible, for me this boxer is saving something, I don't know how his training will be, to be with GGG He has to be hitting him very hard and the fact of fighting against GGG is not easy at all, the boxer has good experience, I know that most of you have been waiting for this fight, and I know that when I am there in the middle of the fight the stakes will be very high, you could say that they will be a great number, the number that I see that is greater is in money for the bets..

I think that all this has to do with the clear disagreement that there is with the decisions of the judges, and if it is a fact that it can be done, only that this would be a series of sensors and it seems to me that the boxers would have to accept such things, for In general, we have had unpleasant experiences with the refereeing and technical decisions of the judges in any sport, but more so in boxing, from an Olympics to a professional fight, and we have clear examples that everyone here remembers, the past Olympics with the Japanese and the clear fight that was won by Mayweather with Pacquiao that was Mayweather running around the ring.

Mechanical scoring might not be suitable for professional boxing especially in the highest competition.
Usually, when a boxing match is very close and the score cards are very close, it would create a minor controversy right after the end of the match. Can't blame the judges though as they are watching the match live and they need to decide on that point of view. Replay of the video would determine who really wins.

Now though Canelo is a firm -390 favorite (bet $390 to win $100) with FanDuel to beat GGG again, while Golovkin is a +290 underdog (bet $100 to win $290).

It has not change, the odds are still the same. Well, hopefully we are right here as personally I like to see GGG taking a revenge by a big win.

GGG does not have to mind the trash-talk, he needs to focus on this fight and prove to the world that he can beat Canelo. Imagine if GGG will win here, that would give Canelo 2 losses in a row and will result in reducing his popularity. People will also remember that GGG is the better fighter between the two, so I understand why GGG is silent, it only says he will do the talking in the ring.

GGG is always silent and never we saw him badmouthing his opponent. Him being humble just want to prove his strength in the actual fight and not by words. GGG is also not the type of boxer that will return dirty talk. He will rather be silent about it and just wait for the result on the day of the fight.

Canelo on the other hand already put some heated arguments against GGG but still, the latter just remained silent and calm.

And that's the best thing about Golovkin, he ain't the type of boxer who does some issues or sick argument just to sell a fight. He was humble since he started his career in the boxing industry and made a name without scratching someone's back or stepping on someone, all Golovkin wanted is to show the whole industry what he made of and just like to do the talk.

For Canelo, it's fine for him to talk big and everything like that because he can also prove what he is saying inside the ring. It's just that Canelo knew some time ago that without the help of the judges, he now has 3 losses in his career that's why he is trying to take a fight into Golovkin's head to mess the latter's strategy.

This fight does not need trash talk to hype it, it was the fans who requested to see it and here it is, so I can say that it's going to be a sold-out fight and the fans will be entertained watching this. Canelo is the winner in the previous match but anything can happen here, GGG could win here and maybe retire to give Canelo a lesson that trash talking is bad.

Come on, let us not be sensitive here, this is boxing, it's entertainment and therefore trash talking is just normal. It's something that will add spices on the fight and so that people will keep talking, and as a result, they'll be able to sell more tickets for more profits, simple as that.

9 days remaining for the match. I have noticed that odds have become slightly more favorable towards Golovkin. For him, previously it was in the range of +330 to +350, but now I am seeing odds of +280 to +290. Still I believe that he is under-rated in this fight. I have made a bet in favor of Golovkin, but only for a small amount. Heart still says that Golovkin will win somehow, but if I think realistically, then I don't see a path for him to win. He needs a KO given the bias from judges. And KO against Canelo looks near impossible, given the age of GGG.

They might not be trash talking at each other, however, Canelo and GGG very much hate each other hehe. It began during their rematch when Canelo was caught using a banned chemical in boxing which is a steroid and which also can improve performance of athletes. GGG talked about this in press conferences and Canelo did not like this. Ever since the rematch, they have hated each other. See the latest conferences for this fight. Canelo was telling the media that GGG is an asshole. GGG was only quiet, however, in some articles it was mentioned that GGG said that Canelo's behavoir in the press conference might be the side effects of steroids heheheheh.
